I need to send it back and get a bigger size but here it is. (XL) I thought it would be a material like Jordan hoodys but sadly its not and the size is smaller then a M compaired to Jordan.. seems thinner cotten too The strings comming out of the hood are pretty sweet. Its like weaved with white and grey. The lettering seems pretty legit, i have a feeling it will shrink in the dryer so i have to hang dry it. The elastic type material on the bottom of the hoody and by my wrist is decent not too tight. Overall i am happy with the hoodys fi makes.. when i get the right size (XXL) ill be even happier. The measurements for the Large is: 26" long 20" wide and a slee…

So I bought 2 Incriminator Audio 15" Lethal Injection subs during the Black and Blue Sale and they just got installed today. I have received a number of pm's and emails from friends and strangers alike asking to hear more about the CSS SDX7 after I wrote about them on AudioJunkies.com. Just to give you a little background, Bob from CSS sent these to me with a pair of Extremis' in the hopes that I would be able to supply some measurements for both the SDX7 and Extremis. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and haven't captured any FR, THD, IMD, etc. But what follows is my opinion based on a few excerpts from earlier posts I made. Almost forgot...you can get the SDX7 from www.creativesound.ca for $100. I imagine they'll be available from Kyle at acoustic-visions.com in the near future as well, bu…

  5. This review is in the current issue (September 2011) of Performance Auto & Sound Magazine and it was performed by Gary Springgay. If you are the type of person that takes your bass seriously, the crew at Sonic Soundlabs will understand where you’re coming from. Sonic Soundlabs is a subwoofer company based in Homosassa Springs, Florida and they build some of the most intense subwoofers available anywhere at any price. With six different series of woofers available, you can bet they will have a woofer that’s just right for your level of commitment. The Sonic Soundlabs woofers are hand assembled here in the U.S.A, and are deliberately overbuilt to exceed their customer’s…

  6. I will go ahead a get the one and only thing i don't like about this HU out of the way....it comes with no remote. Now that's out of the way....This HU is GREAT!! And can be had for under 300$! Features that i love? 3 sets of 4v Pre-outs SD Card input,USB input (though no rear USB) Aux, and of course MP3 CD and DVD palyback You can also set your own custom background pic! WIN And though not necessary ...it can power a SUB! 70watts @ 2ohm Also you have a nifty little 7 band Parametric EQ and high pass filter Pretty much all win....but for any other questions....of course there is a vid! Check it out!

I have been listening and listening and listening to the new Mag for a few weeks now in our '94 Civic hatchback with the woofer in 1.3 cubes sealed off two channels of a SAZ-100.4. I wrote the following first bit after I spent 4 or so hours with the driver. The more I keep listening the more I feel like I should update the review. So what I'm going to do is keep this thread open and keep adding to the original text. What you will see is not reply's, but the text will grow as time goes on. I'm not going to lie though, a lot of the material I use for testing subs isn't in a lot of people's CD libraries. Having said that, I will post the album title and artist of the…

(Re-Post from Daber Section) Daber Audio is starting to take off, so I thought I would take this chance and repost some of the store reviews we have got from them.... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Daber Audio SQL-10 Subwoofer Michelle Kibodeaux Says: "I was getting so frustrated that I couldn't hear the lower frequencies for some of my favorite music! But, I'm a mom, I drive a lil station wagon, and I wasn't into subs for the status. My 10" sub is perfect. Doesn't take up much room, still can tote groceries, but the bass makes all the grocery sacks make a sizzle sound. It's really just perfect!" ---------------------------…

2 12" ssa icons (prototype?) review First thing I noticed when I unpackaged them was how well built they were. The huge triple stack motor, well you guys can read the specs but the craftsmanship on these drivers is top notch. In my setup I had dual 1ohm drivers wired to 1ohm on saz-1500d amp. My electrical is stock besides the big 3 done, so I couldn't really take full advantage of the amp, but that was okay because the icons still got loud, very loud. I probably had the gain turned up 2/5 on the saz. First song I played was Narayan by The Prodigy, bass kicking in at 0:44 sounding nice and crisp at low volume, got a couple rattles here and there in the jeep. I then turne…

I compared it next to the edead v1. other deadners i have installed in my life were dynamat extreme as well . here it goes. upon arrival the deadner is bullet prof. when i say bullet proff i mean this stuff is very high grade deadner. i have never messed with anything as good as this stuff. its very nice and thick yet soft to form. i disected the product to compare it to the edead the edead is very flimsy it folds very easy and is about the same thick ness of the damplifier pro but the damplifier pro is much …

  12. Well first off thanks to Nick @ Incriminator for taking care of me, awesome guy, replied to all my pm's and was very helpful. Well I got this sub because sqhertz got one and had nothing but good things to say about this sub. And before the LI I had a FI Q, in a 2.5 @ 32hz box by the man, BJ Fisher. So I thought why not, my Nine.5 is only putting out 600rms @ 1ohm (underrated) and the FI Q needs 1000rms to really shine. The Lethal Injection only needs 600rms, which is perfect in my case, and my amp really puts out around 700-750rms @ 1 ohm. So I took the plunge, bought the sub, got it pretty quick from Incriminator, and when I got it, it was dead sexy. I love the fact that…

Overview The Bravox company is located in Brazil and was founded in 1953 by a group of engineers who wanted to manufacture high quality loudspeakers for a variety of clients. They have been successfully doing just that ever since, turning out eceptional quality loudspeakers for many establishedbrands of home audio, as well as their own line of quality car audio products. The company is vertically integrated, which means they basically design, tool, produce, and manufacture all of the individual parts and components that go into the speakers they produce. This technique allows for excellent quality control and consistency in the performance of the finished products…

Ok people....me and buddy decided to deaden my roof today! With great results i must say! We started with a single layer basically all the way across and then doubled up in area's we thought might be trouble spots. The product feels good and is easy to work with.We didn't even have to use a roller through most of the install. This is some VERY sticky stuff! lol The only thickness i had to compare the Audiowrap to was some Second Skin Damplifier Pro.This stuff was not as thick...yet i didn't expect it to be. Damp Pro is the upper model of SS and i have never had any orginal to compare with.Though i was told Audiowrap did have some 10mil thick line coming out ! Anyway we go…

  15. I have bought a few brands of car audio cable over the past few years & looked at many others online during research but I finally decided to venture out & pick up some welding cable for the 1st time at 2.00 per foot I found it hard to resist. I bought some electron beam technologies eb flex 2/0 welding cable I have to say I am pretty happy with it so far but is 2/0 we will see how fun working with its hope I don't have to cram it into any 1/0 terminals or inputs cause I thought Knu kolossus was a little hard to fit into some 1/0 inputs. I have only used 4 brands of 1/0 wire and those are Knu Konceptz kolossus 1/0, Audio technix 1/0, & phoenix gold power flex …

I picked up 7 spools of the funkin audio 00ga or 2/0. It's tinned wire, it's pretty much 2/0, it's a good price and it's solid as a rock lol. The strands are nice and they're tight. The jacket sucks, I won't lie. You'll definitely need to heat it up to get it to bend half assed decent. The jacket is thick as hell, so you get plenty of protection. The wire itself looks as big as kicker hyper flex and welding 2/0. I don't have my calipers, so oh well. Overall it's a good buy for wire that should outlast the life of you car lol. Just not flexible. On to the pics. left to right FA 00, DIYMA 0ga, old stinger expert, kicker hyper flex, welding 2/0, AT OFC 0ga, K…

I got my first BTL 18 about 5 months ago, fully loaded dual 2 ohm version. It was the fist 18 I'd purchased or even heard in person, so I was a bit skeptical because of the mixed things people say about larger drivers as far as quality go. The last two setups I had owned were a kicker L7 15 in 5cubes tuned around 32hz, and and alpine type-x 12 in 1.1cube tuned around 32hz. I had been trying to find a very loud woofer that still sounded half decent, and while the alpine sounded nice, and the kicker got loud, neither did both very well. The kicker was very loud though, so I was really trying to find something that could out-do it. When I started trying to find out about the…

First things first, I'm sure everyone knows this is a prototype and not the actual production driver. Mechanically it is an exact copy, however aesthetically, the proto is lacking some eye candy in regards to what the final driver will look like. Many know I am affiliated with SI and will take this review with a grain of salt and that is fine. In my opinion, your own ears should be what you use to make your decision, but I can tell you, that every driver I have owned since I have owned a Mag has not impressed me in ways the Mag has, and this includes all generations. Upon seeing the driver at my doorstep and picking up the shipping box, I was delightfully surprised with…

I don't have a lot to say about the wire, It does the job and is cheap. The jacket could use some work as we spoke. I wish the wire kept the individual strands more tightly packed to prevent mushrooming. The flexibility was not an issue, but Do I need to tie it in a knot? No flexibility is not a huge determining factor for wire. The price is good but it could use some work, I would pay slightly more for a better product (Knu) than skimp on a more inferior wire. This is purely in regards to the CCA not the OFC. Would I buy again? Maybe. Colemans customer service was good and let me know about my order.. But his business practices are still young and questionable and I hope…

A Mini RE Audio XXX 15 Review Ok well i have been lucky enough to have the chance to play with an origional RE Audio XXX 15. I once had this in the boot and passed on the opportunity to buy this exact driver and i now regret that but ill come back to that. First a little bit about the driver. This particular model dates back to 2005 and is radically different in design to the current generation of RE Audio XXX's. The current design uses a split coil while the first generation were a XBL motor design. While it is hard to find information on these drivers the first generation used an XBL^2 motor design. Following a fall out between RE Audio and Dan Wiggins (owner to the Pat…

Ok, so I am trying to decide between a couple of options here. I have a Hifonics BRZ2400.1D amp but do not know how to properly upgrade my electrical for that amount of power. Ideally, I would do the least amount of upgrades as possible since these set ups can get pricey lol any help with that would be amazing! Also, I will either be using Fi Q 15's or Fi BL 12's (both dual 1's). I am leaning towards getting a Scion tC, but I am unsure if a 7.0 cuft box will fit in the cargo space without folding the seats down and if two Fi Q 15's or two FI BL 12's would be an overkill setup in the tC. I will not be upgrading the component speakers anytime soon so would I still be able t…

So the sitckers came rolled up with surprised me, i thought it would fuck the sticker up but it didnt I dont know if you are suspose to put the sticker on wet or dry but i had to put it on wet because i knew it'd be a bitch to reposition it if it was dry lol At first i couldnt get the son of a bitch centered and even! but i got it perfect with time. Over all the sticker wasnt hard to put on, the letters seemed to stick th the clear layer of the sticker so i had to get my license out and wedge it between the clear layer and the letter. After i got the hang of it putting it on became very simple. I love how they look on my truck and i would recomend them to any AQ fan.

Initial tests conclude what i had expected. Clean, clear, deep and plenty loud. I feel transients would benefit from a huge ported box but for all intended purposes, the small sealed is sufficient. Rather tight sounding. I love it. Its only day 1. I forgot to take the camera but here is the finished product. Very crisp, neutral sound. It's evident the subs need some time to loosen up a bit. At uncomortable volumes the subs are moving a CH over 1/4" or so. These are a quality product, and mike is a stand up dude to deal with. A small dent in one of the woofer cones was worth a $70 credit for me. Very pleased with my decision to put faith into soundsplinter. I'm…
