I was wondering if anyone had an expeirence with the new ARC amps. I'm pretty sure its the KAR series its a mini amp. 125.2 or 125.4 and its like 8"x4"x2" or something like that. Its super small. And with 125 wrms x4 thats pretty bad ass for the size. Anyway just wondering http://www.arcaudio.com/productdescription...-125.2-mini.asp Wow my guess on the deminsions was pretty damn close.

I know theirs many of these posts about people asking for a good amp to run there sub but I thought id post my own topic to fit my standards...I have/on the way a 15" Fi SSD. Even though I still haven't received my subwoofer and haven't heard it on my current amp I still don't think my US AMPS XT2000D is going to feed it the power i want. with that being said I want some ideas on a good amp that can put out as much power or a good recommended amount of power to push the SSD. my price range would have to be around 200$ or so...idk just thought id get some ideas if i were to get one soon.

Hi all Ok this is the problem On the big three the alternator power.... It says to upgrade that... now this is the issue i discovered tracking down my voltage drop... My alternator wire goes from the alt to a fuse box (factory) then from the fuse box to the front battery... now my rear battery taps off the front battery.... all 0/1 guage wire... I changed the wire from the alt to the fuse box to 0/1 So i need to change the fuse box to the bat now to 0/1 OR is just going straight from the alt to the rear battery an option (fused with 200 amps of course)

I see all these alts out their that are like 180, 200, 220amps But the idle is only 110-125 What the heck, so basiclly if i'm sittin thier at the light my car will still dim

seems like this only does it on these amps, any other brand amps i never really noticed this...but anyways, ill have a speaker connected, and ill have the gains on 0. i gradually put the gains up, and the loudness/volume doesnt move. it gets louder only when i get to like right before 3/4 of the way up....is that normal? does this on both of my 150's and both of my 45's... i just think thats odd, like ill put the gains at 1/2, and its the same as having the gains at 0....

Hmmm so I was just wondering... Why is everyone so dead set against a cap?

Hello I am an amateur stereo guy in need of advise on setting my amp. I have the gain set to 21 volts on the front and rear of 4 channel with a 1khz test tone I have the gain set to 41 volts on the 1500d amp with a 50hz test tone Those settings were given to me by a friend My question is where to set the crossovers? the low pass/high pass filters the subsonic knob and the 2 push in buttons I currently have the front channel run on the crossover on the head unit set to 100khz with a 24 slope Rear channel is off on deck, and set on low pass on amp but not sure what the settings should be on the amp, the deck does not give me a low pass option on rear channel The sub is cur…

Recently purchsed a Crossfire vr1000d, hooked it up today and it turns on then about 10 seconds later makes a click sound then switches to protect and right back to power. And does this non stop, Does this mean the amp i have bought is blown? It even does it with just the power, grnd, and remote wire hooked up. Hey guys, I think there are more Alpine HUs that can run the PXA-H701, but here's the list I'm working off: CDA-9887 good HU 4 volt outputs only $270 if I don't want to play DVDs...great buy All the DVDs only have 2 volt rather than 4 volt. I'm planning on buying a new starting battery for my suv. I'm running sa15's on a hifonics brutus elite 1600. I plan on doing the big 3 in the process. I just need to know what would be a good battery to put up front. I would like to do the big 3 and a new battery up front and then put a second one in the back. My budget is around $200 give or take

I have a PPI pc1800.2 that burned out. I haven't opened it yet to see what fried but it's definitely dead. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place down in Glendale or LA or even OC that knows where I can get it repaired? It's a sexy amp and I'm not willing to let it go.

Ok, SOOOO, I'm reallllly baffled and just plain pissed off. Last night i decided to cable tie ALL of my wires, put plastic tuding around all of them, and tie them back. (kinda clean up my wires/install real good before I make my amplifier rack.) So, that's what i was doing last night. Not installing anything...I only unhooked my subwoofer amp...nothing else, i didn't even take apart my dash or anything. That's the pre-face, here's what happened. amplifiers like the ZR240? Mine has one for bass, but i'd like to find some others that I might possibly have a use for. Can you run the ZR240 without anything plugged into that port? Thanks in advance, Ed

I have a 2009 Ford Escape with factory sirius installed. My question is i have my Alpine CDA-9887 from my 05 escape that i'm putting in and want to know if i need anything else to get sirius through my alpine besides the KCA-SC100 Sirius Satellite Radio Plug and Play Interface.? Does the factory installed sirius unit plug into the kca-sc100? Do i have to buy anything else??

As some of you may know from other another post I have plans of doing a 150 trunk car this summer. So from past experience I know that I can not run two alts, and I already have a HO alt. I am trying to stay away from extra batts due to my car having weak ass springs in the ass end so I was going to install a MLA module. BUT!! I googled for like 2 hours and I can not find the site or how to buy one? If I am just mentally challenged would someone please post a link and if not dose anybody know of another type of device that would get me similar results.

how can you test if a bad remote line out from head unit is causing amp not to on?
