would it be possibile to run my jl 500/1 to 4 coponents and a set of tweeters. i would have to turn down the gains ,but would it be a good or a bad idea to even try somthing like that.

Im getting a Fi Q 15'. I was told to go Dual 2 and get a Hifonics 1600d amp, Recently I have found out that Hifonics suck and Dual 1's are better. What is the best amp sub combo Dual 1 and something else or Dual 2 and Hifonics 1600d? On a side note: Waht exactly os the difference between Dual1 and Dual 2?

Hello Friends,I don’t understand from music and the need a help. I have one subwoofer-Pioneer TS-W311D4 1400 watts-dual 4 ohm ,12 inch ,I need an amplifier for it. I like one but I don’t know it is ok for the speaker. It is Pioneer 1600 w ,Class D Digital mono Mosfet from bestbuy. Model-GM-D8601 up to 800w rms -1 ohms up to 500w rms -2 ohms Up to 300 w Rms - 4 ohms It is ok ? and how to wire The speaker ?Parallel or series? My car is Toyota Highlander Hybrid. what kind of wires kit I need? thank you and merry Christmas

YO, I am getting ready to set up a dual alt in my 2001 chevy astro van but the last few days alone it has been 90+ degrees so i am very indifferent about getting rid of my A/C if anyone knows of anyone that was able to keep A/C and run multiple alts please share. I am willing to get rid of my belt driven fan and go electric as well as add cold air intake to free up space in front of the belt and pulley area if anyone knows a way to Fab up something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

got a sa8v2d2 in my 94 grand prix and its running on a friends kicker dx250.1 at 4ohms. so maybe seeing around 150rms. way to little for this little beast. so which one of these 2 amps would be a better deal, or recommend me something. wanting to stay in the price range of thee 2 becauce I plan on upgrading to diff subs in a few months. and im trying to save for a x10 in my 99 grand price. kinda hard when no one wants to buy a lethal injection 12..... reason to go to a 10 is I want to save more trunk space, and I love the lows.

I have a G190 and wonder how clean it is, I replaced amp and drivers when I dropped it in so could not compare much. I had a nak and it was really clean. Just wondering if I should swap it out as I can not get the new HU I want yet. Parametric on this alpine works nice. My highs are lacking and I think it is the amp, but wanted to ask what luck others had running one of these. I went to this for the fader and parametric it has, and still can do all my crossovers and gains from driver seat.

What is the best head unit, other than the 880 on the market? Keeping in mind I want a simple display like the 880's.

What's the benefits of eq's? how do you put it in your system? I'm wanting to learn as much as i can about them....... any advice will be helpful thanks in advance

Ok here's my problem. Whenever I turn up my Head unit (New Sony Xplode) past a certain point my amp will shut off. As long as I have my amp turned pretty far down it wont do it. But I feel like I'm being robbed of the potential of my speakers. I thought that maybe it was the amp so I took my other amp out of my other car and it did the same thing but even quicker cuz it's a 900w Lanzar and the other one is a American Pro 600w. I've checked all of the connections way to many times and never found any problems. Someone told me that the ohms has to match up on the amp and on the subs but i've never heard of that. If any one has any ideas please let me know i would app…

I think that the rca's might possibly be going bad on my pioneer DEH P6400. I am wanting to replace it but i dont want to buy a crappy one. what do u recommend that fits my budget of $200-$250? I prefer the look of flip down faces i dont really like seeing a cd slot in the face.And maybe a remote like my pioneer has

Okay this probably isn't the right place to ask this but please help out. I have a soundstream Rubicon 1600 amplifier. The protection light comes on for like five seconds and then the amp works ccompletely fine. Any suggestions why this is happening? Is this gonna be okay on the amp or will it eeventually die on me?

Does anyone have an info for me on a replacement gain knob for the audiopipe 1500 amp's? Up till today this amp has been great but it seems the wires inside have came loose and im not the type to bust it open and put it back together.. This isnt my amp its in a good friends car. I have sent emails to the company with no response. Any suggestions? the knob plugs in with a "headphone" looking jack, not the phone cable looking one.

I have front and trunk batteries in parallel and want to know how to charge them together without taking them out of the car if its possible. I don't want to just hook charger up while everything else is connected and burn out an amp or anything else electrical in the car. But if its safe to do it then that would help instead of going through the whole routine of taking each one out and doing them one at a time.

Recently purchsed a Crossfire vr1000d, hooked it up today and it turns on then about 10 seconds later makes a click sound then switches to protect and right back to power. And does this non stop, Does this mean the amp i have bought is blown? It even does it with just the power, grnd, and remote wire hooked up. To my understanding if it was blown it'd be a solid into protect

I will be running a little over 1000 watts rms, probably around 1200, will there be the need to get an optima yellow top?

when puting the fuses back in my amp i broke the thing that holds the fuse. so right now i am just running a lead (with a fuse in it) from the holder thats not broken to the power 12v on the amp. will this be ok to keep this way. or is it wasy to just heat up the solder and put a new holder in and where can i get one. could i get a in line fuse holder and run from one lead to another and solder them in. i cant run just one amp.. there in a common camber box all 4.

Does anyone here own a a600 art serie ppi I was wondering if its normal when the power light comes on red because my a1200 comes on red for a second then turn green but the 600 stays red but still works fine so im kinda nervous on this anyone that has on please tell me if the light is normal

Since im getting back into car audio. How does the new Phoenix Gold amplifiers compare to the older models like the M and ZX series? Reason im asking is it fits my budget plus a local dealer. I was looking at the RSD600.1 or RSD1200.1 to drive a pair of 12" IA Lethal Injection Series.

Am running 2 FI 15 inch Q's with BP power on an AQ 2000 watt amp in a 2000 dodge dakota. I upgraded to a high output alternator (230 max output, i had it tested), and i have already completed the big 3 with 1/0 gauge wire. I am presently using a 850 CCA battery in the hood and have no space for a battery inside the truck. I am currently experiencing diming and since am not interested in using a Cap, i was woundering if i took out that battery and replace it with a kinetik 2000 or 2400 watts battery, would that solve the problem? So anyway, my brother owns a towing business/ Car parts yard (aka junk yard) ... And he acquires many things. So he acquired one of those industrial sized Optima Yellow tops and a Regular Optima yellow top. I am building my system and a battery was my next step. He gave them both to me, and I was wondering if I should keep them or sell them and put in a large Powermaster or something??? Both are brand new, still in the plastic rappers

Alright, I have an older kicker kx400.2 i believe it is and it's not working. I only found one little connection broken, which is pictured below. Would it hurt to try and push them back together and solder them lightly? It wouldn't void a warranty, and it wouldn't be a hassle, but is it safe? I don't have any other way to power it up other than a stand alone battery that was in my truck a while back.
