I'm looking to power a tc9 with a dual 1.4 ohm FI Q recone. instead of looking to see how much boom i can get, i'm looking for a little better sound and will be udating with the rest of my system, i'm just starting with the sub and amp. the audison is 900 rms at 1 ohm and the dls is about 1200 rms at 1 ohm. both are about the same price. I've come here because i know the experience seems to be concentrated here. lol. also on the list of keeping the boom up is the md3d and saz-1500d. so some people with experience please give me a little insight. thanks very much i apreciate it.

ok so I just bought this amp for 475 dollars from a buddy of mine that is switching to sound qubed...im going to either get 2 15s or 4 12s not sure yet or even the brand...I was lookin at the American bass spl 15s...but my buddy told me we could use that amp and wire the subs to 4 ohms and itll only pull around 1500 watts rms and my stock alternator would b sufficient until I can do the upgrade on everything...and he said after I upgrade my electrical we could wire the subs to 2 ohms n get the 3500 so I have several questions.....first off what does everyone think of this amp? ive never heard of it but my buddy said its a beast.....second wat would b the best set up 4 12s…

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the newer version audiopipe amps. I've used the ap1500's before and they performed well. Usually recommend them for friends. I can't seem to find them anymore. All I see is 'APCL' and 'APSM' series. Looking for a decent ~1000-1500@1 ohm amp for my cousin on a budget.

Ok, so the tittle may be a little confusing. Sorry about that. But what I am trying to get a answer for is to know whether or not, 1 watt, equals 1 watt? For example, lets say one company claims 1000 watts rms @ 1 ohm. And some other company claims the exact same thing. Now if we set these two amps up to a controlled vehicle/setup, why would one seem louder, or just plain oh better than the other? Obviously the main possiblity would be because someone is not providing that 1000 watts, but lets say we testing both amps the exact same way, with sophisticated equipment and techniques, to find out that they are putting out exactly 1000 watts. Then what could be the reason? T…

I have 2 Massive Audio D3000.1's right now with the gain turned up about half way. I put a recommended 100amp fuse in the holder... today i got in the car, turned on the stereo and one amp didn't turn on. I checked all the wiring, everything is fine...checked the fuse, fuse was fine. The amp doesnt turn on at all, doesnt go into protect, nothing. I used a multi meter to check the voltage, the remote wire was reading 12v but the power wire is reading 0.03v what happened?? :S

I am doin some searchin and plan on posting a lot of amps on here with peoples feedback to them and hee is the first to start- Bazooka MGA11500H This amp has been specifically optimized to produce it's most power @2ohms but still be 1ohm stable! What is so good about this is when your impedance curve rises over areas that you wish were louder, this amp will pretty much make that happen. For example - wire a sub to 1 ohm, put it on a 1ohm amp, it will not hit the 1 ohm mark on the amp but on average may hover around 2 ohms. This isn't exact science obviously but you get the picture. So, the specs for this amp- 810w @4ohms 1,550w @2ohms 1,222w @1ohm Comes with advanced p…

So Found this on WoofersETC today and was wondering on opinions. I am going to get the Soundqubed Q4-120 but from what I've read in the last few months Focal is VERY VERY good but expensive. After seeing this Focal amp for 200bucks i'm thinking did I find a sweet deal or is it a bottom line amp from focal that isn't worth it and spend the extra 100bucks on the Soundqubed? Opinions please. thnx. So I am looking for some help choosing an amp, but I need help because with my speakers I have the options of making ohm loads at either 0.86, 1.26, 1.5 or 3.43. I am looking to push a minimum of 900 and a maximum of 1200 watts continuous. My absolute price limit would be 250, but the lower the better, I'm actually looking for the cheapest that I can get away with while still meeting my requirements.

I mean exact wiring for this...i feel like it wasnt done correctly bc we are incorporating the crossovers into the mix. STOCK HU. Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 Crescendo 800.4 Crescendo 1500.1 2 sets of Mezzos. 4 tweeters and 4 6.5's Fi Q D2 Im not sure why, but my guys that helped me out with they system incorporated the crossovers into the system. I thought the 360 could be used instead of crossovers. If someone has some time and would really like to help a fellow car audio fanatic out, how would you wire this setup? I would love to see a diagram drawn out!

  17. So my knew 220 anp alternator came in I cant fully test it cause Auto Zones tester only goes up to 100 amps but it's working fine as far as I can tell. Here's my problem my 2002 Taurus Idle stop is set around 900 RPM (no dimming out of gear) holding at the 100 mark on Auto Zones meter but when I put my car in gear the RPM drop tp 550 to 600 only giving me an output of 68 amps so if I'm at a stop light I get slight dimming. I did a eye test and left my interior lights on and the get super bright when I get to about 1400 to 1600 (not exactly sure cause the guage isn't that defined) with absolutly no dimming. Has any one else had this gear engaged problem and can it be solv…
