ok so i originally planned on 2 hifinics 2608s but was advised against it.....so any recommendations. and price is a huge factor so the cheaper is nicer

I was told the only time I need to worry about getting a better grade RCA wire is if its for mids and highs. Is that true? Im about to order RCAs for my sundown 1200 and just want to make sure I dont get too cheap of an RCA if I need something better than basic

I am admitting to being a newb at this stuff but hey, everyone was, at once, one as well lol I had a couple RE SX12's hooked up to a 1600W amp in my last car with a 105 amp alternator and they sounded amazing but it was hooked up with no electrical upgrades, not even big 3, so the lights dimmed out when the bass hit. I have bought a used car now and the alternator is most likely between 80-105 amps and my new amp is 2400W (Hifonics BRZ2400.1D - latest model). I am also debating between a DC Audio level 4XL 15, level 5 15, AA mayhem 15 or even an 18 of any of those. Well i think i will need a new amp kit, I am using a cheap 4ga ( American accessories ). But I just upgraded amps. I will be running an AudioQue 1200d, and Kicker 350.4 with a kinetik HC 800 in the trunk. I am leaning towards a Kicker amp kit, and a knu concepts. Will 4ga be enough?

I was swapping my pioneer hu out and putting my sony back in, and somewhere during the installation something happened, and now my T250x4 doesn't turn on anymore. The board stinks like a dead amp, but the internal fuse is fine, and the inline fuse is fine =[ I am not sure where to go from here as far as fixing it, everything else in the car works fine, and I'm just weirded out that it might happen to another amp. Thinking about replacing it with a PPI900.4 o.O I checked all my wires, even pulled them out, inspected them and re ran them (I only have 6 or so ft of 1/0 power, and a matching ground run to a block, then from the block to the amps). I probably have to install a seperate battery but I dont understand why I'm dimming when I got a new 250A Alt? I though the amp makes the power?

Well I just got my battery from somebody on here that was selling them and I have to say I am pretty sure its no longer usable. The terminals are pushed in a good two inches and the plastic housing around them is pretty badly cracked. I can see the stuff inside of it as well. Hey guys quick question. I got a dodge challenger and I upgraded my starter battery to a kinetik hc2400 and then I recently added a hc1800 as a secondary battery. I recently brought a dmm to mess with and check the Ohms of some subs I had lying around. Then decided to check my voltage . So both says it rests at 12.8 then I started my car and the main battery read 13.78 or so and I checked my secondary battery and it read 12.8 like nothing happened. This is the first time I've ever checked my secondary battery, I've had a dual battery set up in my altima. And I had the LCD volt reader and my secondary battery was in my spare tire area under my sub so I never really bothe…

Are all pioneer head units the same volume before clipping mine has max 63 and 75% of that is 47 my deck is deh p500usb

I have my btl, and I am borrowing my friends sub amp to listen to the sub because I can't afford an amp just yet. I am dying to hear it. It is wired at 1 ohm, but really .7 ohm (DMM). It says the amp is 1 ohm capable, but It goes into protect when I turn the amp on. What could be the problem, maybe its not 1 ohm capable? or the .7 ohm is too low?

Aight, I'm in need of a cheaper ( sub $200 perferably ) head unit. I need this for my little river yacht. I need something with excellent radio reception being the primary focus. I can deal with no frills or anything else. I only have ( still working on them actually ) a pair of 6 1/2 co axials in the boat. I don't need any kind of processing or any of that. Just need to get decent reception in the middle of BFE Any ideas what manufacturer has the best reception ?

Hi I have a Pioneer AVH-P4000 headunit and I love everything about it except I have not found a way to bypass the dvd player. Does any1 have some ideas on how it can be done, or does any1 have this headunit and know how? Any input will be appreciated. Thanks!

i was wondering if any one could help me by telling me were i could get a in dash volt meter? i have been searching on line and for some reason cant find any only batt terminal volt meters also any recommendation on some brands ? i was thinking stinger put like i said for some reason cant find any mayb im doing something wrong

it seems these companys offer exactly what im looking for power wise. im using 14 prv mids 8ohms, my vehicle is at 15.4v and hoping these amps wouldnt go into protect cause too high of voltage. has anyone used these for mids/highs?
