which amp do i need...i am most likely gonna go with the 2 12" BTL's....Thanks in advance. also wat is the peak powers for the BTL's? and the rms is like 2000??...right?. that sounds pretty damn high! lol ...well that is wat the website said. THANKS!!!!

Hi fellas I have a question that will I'm sure be easy for you to answer. I have never ran bigger than 4 gauge wire, never upgraded the big 3, and never dealt with any of these following products. My question is what size ends should I get, they offer from 1/4 - 5/16 for the 2/0 gauge wire. I plan to use them on the 2/0 gauge upgrading the big 3, I plan to use them on my battery terminals, and I plan to use them…

sort of a noob question, but just wanna make sure. after having my stuff for sale for 2 months, and no one buying it, i decided to make it work in my truck. im gonna be running the set-up in my sig, and was wondering if it would be safe to mount my amp to my box. there's not really any other good place to put it, so i figured why not. its a sturdy box made out of 3/4 mdf. thanks!

Now, I definitely know the PowerMaster is a better battery, but the price of the Dekas are telling me to go w/ them. I could get two new Dekas for the cost of one new PowerMaster. Common sense is telling me to go w/ the Dekas but which do you guys suggest to do?

The XS seems like it would be more powerful. Any opinions?

so is a second stock alt going to be as good as an ho alt?? the town i live in has an auto program at college that i can get a alt from a junk yard for $$22.00 and they well clean up and run through it for me, (im waiting on a call back from them to se if they can recoil it as well) and they have a fabricating shop that for the price of materials well make a mounting bracket also i know that there are alot of car audio specific companys that make batteries, but would 1 everlast maxx 1N under hood(replace stock) and 4 in back(total 5) be just as good as 3 audio batteries? i can get the ELmaxx1N's for 89.99 apeice so like 450.00 for 5 batts?? just woundering

I haven't done much electrical wise in my new suv and came across so unexpected money. I was wondering should I take the money and by two maybe 3 batteries or buy a quality h/o alt. I'm still running the sundown 2500d. If I buy batteries I plan on running an xs d925 under the hood and an xs d3400 in the back. Thanks guys

This may be a stupid question, but i want to be sure before i go and buy this. I want to run this amp(kicker zx200.4) for only one component set. I could just bridge it so it does 100 watts x2 at 4 ohms, right? or is bridging a 4 channel to a two channel not a good idea? thanks

im having a little problem with my amp. right now i have a sundown saz-2000d hooked up to two 18" dc xl's at .5 ohms until i can afford a better amp and get more batteries to support the extra power. but so far the amp is doing alright except at times the amp will go into protect only when i turn it up. it doesnt happen all the time and whenever it happens its random, meaning it sometimes will go into protect the moment the bass hits when turned up or sometimes after a whole song has played through full tilt. right now my electrical is a 250 amp alt with the big 3 done in 1/0 gauge wire and an xs power d3400 under the hood with a d3100d in the back all with 1/0 gauge wire…

well i got my SAZ 1500d in the mail a few days ago... and now i have my 1/0 gauge Tsunami amp kit to replace the 4 gauge from my old sub amp... so now i am getting ready to install it all, i was just wondering if anyone had any good sugestions on where to set the subsonic and the LPF knobs ? and i a guessing to leave the phase off.. this amp is to run my 15" Xcon.. it is in a 4 cubic feet box ported to 32 hz.... i figured there would be someone here who could get me close..

If i wire my new kinetik 2400 in parallel to my stock car battery will i be fine with my 3000 watt amp? some people are saying i must get an isolator and others not. and i have no idea if it will damage anything or not. and no i wont be playing music without the car on

im looking at upgrading my system. im planing on useing 1 bl 12 and was looking at using a hifonics bxi1606d or a bxi2006d. which would be better to power the bl? and what options would i need? or is there another amp around the same price range as the hifonics that would be better to use?

I need an amp for my 15 Icon.It is in a (about)4ft3 ported enclosure.(wired @ 4 Ohms now, but it can change). I am thinking about a Sundown 1000 or 1500, or a Clarion DPX 11500. I did not find a lot of informations about the Clarion, and everybody here loves Sundown. I will probably upgrade to a 15" or 12" Xcon, so I should look for a 1500 watts rms amplifier. What do you guys think? I would like to play at 2 Ohms with the future sub, and at 4 ohms now : so the Clarion looks like the good choice. It seems like very few people have it here. Why? last time i hooked it up the blue light indicator is on,but i was wondering why it does not power my re adio mx 12 sub.i have it wired in one ohm i can barely hear the sub pound. I called us amps and the guys said that iteh amp needs a 200 plus amp alternator and two batteries to power up the amp the right way.Is it true? He said that a stock alternator wont even power teh amp at all.IThanks for your help guys.

so after finally getting everything tuned to where i wanted and set-up i was driving around for a little bit and then out of nowhere there is no bass... pulled over right then and checked the amp.. blue power light is on, no sign of protect mode at all. after work i got home and checked my fuses, all is fine. other speakers are normal, but when i checked speaker outputs from amp there is 0 volts. how do i fix this? hope its not that bad, was just starting to enjoy it all again! its a sundown SAZ-1500D, I've only had it a couple months, but i did get it from Db-r.com, but he does good work, no?

I am just completely stumped with this problem. I'll try not to make it long but I want to make sure I explain everything right. I have two amps in my car. A Rockford P500.2 and the SAX-1200D. Both have their own runs of power wire and grounds. The Rockford has 8 gauge going to it, as nothing bigger is necessary, and the 1200D has 4 gauge running to it. Yesterday I completely redid everything at my battery. I had to get new battery terminals, as mine were meant for a top post battery, and rewired the factory ground and such to the new terminals. Here is what he has: 1-SAZ1000 2-SA12's at 1ohm Big 3 Decent 35-40ah starting battery, it has a green top so an interstate I beleive. his car is a 96 ford escort soon he will be adding a 2 channel amp to drive a pair of speakers or maybe a 4 channel we will wiat and see. Am I able to use a DMM to see if the rear channel on my 4 channel amp is working? I've wired it several different ways and i've yet to get anything from the rear side. I'm assuming that there wouldn't be a reading if the channel wasn't working, but I really don't have a clue.
