Welp, I ordered a crescendo bc2000 last night!!!!! Should be at my front door by Monday!! Anybody have one of these? What do they perform like?

Hey guys so heres the deal... got a DLS CA31 amp powering my whole system right now... which consists of a pair of DLS R6As for components and a Sound Splinter Rli-10 sub downfired in about .8 cubes sealed.. this is all in a regular cab truck so i was trying to save on space with an all in one amp when i built my system but the amp has been problematic... in the first month it was in a transistor went out... and now bout 10 months later it started hissing at me.. so i sent it back for repair again and half the board was fried... anyways im contemplating getting a new amp depending on how the DLS does when i get it back.. i would like a 3ch unit but my only problem is my s…

I have an 18" IA Death Penalty and a Kenwood hu. I am wondering what amps you would recommend for the 18" I also have Kicker KS series speakers amplified on a hifonics zues. basically wondering what amp to get and if facing the subwoofer up or facing it toward the front seats would be better..if I face it up would it be a big noticeable difference. I plan to tune it around 37hz

So I have a friend that wants to replace her amp and sub that came with her 07 Ford Edge. The sub sucks and the amp just doesn't have enough power for her. Is there a way to install an after market amp wihout having to buy a processor like a RF 3sixty or AudioContro DSP? Sorry if this is a silly question, I would like to tell her all her options. i have a 2000 f250 i am going to buy a sae 1200d and a sax 50.4 refurb. just wanted to know if this was good i am going to put it on 2 sa-8 or 2 IA 187 10 or RE SR 10 whats your vote i have alpine type r mids and highs a pioneer hu and i will be doing the big 3 and a vote meter just want to know if this is right??? or anything else i can add Is there a specific DB for hairtricks???? oh and i believe the stock alt is 130a

I was planning on upgradingg my electrical by replacing my main batt. I was thinking about a batt along the lines of a d6500. Max amps are about 3900 and ah is about 80. Should my stock alt, 110 amps, be able to charge the d6500 without a problem? Im just looking for a theoretical answer. Thanks for the help

Ok so I'm planning on getting a SAZ-1000D amp and I just wanted to know if I'm going to need a new battery or new alternator. I think the alternator in the 2007 Jetta is a 140 amp alt. I did some calculations and I think that is more than enough but I don't know shit (the true :'( ). If I don't I was thinking about getting a XS 5200 ( I think that's the battery) And will I need to upgrade my big 3?

Hi guys, I'm about to get a brand new Mazda CX-5 : I already made a big payment on it, I need to sell my Toyota auris. This Mazda has no Bose option, nothing too fancy. Should I get an aftermarket head unit or keep the factory one. I will run my 2 amps on my speakers : one IA 20.1 and a 3.4 1) I can use my current Pioneer 9300 sd, and still have my steering wheel control, with an additionnal Pioneer or a PAC module. Not sure if anyone is really interested, but I got this today. It was a service drop off, we repaired the RCA inputs and the customer never came back. So it's going home with me. I've got some connections who can do a little something for me so we're going to cut a plexiglass sheet for the front and cut outs for the display and the fans, probably going to upgrade the fans and get the whole thing powdercoated.

Hey guys i was recommend here by denim. Be patient i don't know much about stereos, i'm a motor guy. Here's my situation, my explorer has an xtant 3300x powering then entire stereo system. It burned out about 3 weeks ago, supposidly a shop is fixing it, but they say they are having trouble getting parts. I'm growing impatient because i have nothing at all, because i have a non powered eclipse head unit. I'd like to replace it with a xtant 603, but at the moment even a refurbished one is a little much for my budget. Could i get away with using a xtant 403 to power the whole thing? Well yesterday i bought a Eclipse avn5500 for 25 bucks. Well after a quick call to eclipse to make sure it wasnt stolen i got bored and decided to hook it up in my truck. Well after I booted it up it said insert map disk.. well that's where i am stuck I am finding them on ebay for about 100 bucks any body have a spare floating around? I'm looking into getting a new head unit, and I was wanting some suggestions.. I'm looking for something simple, but quality. I need ability to play MP3 CD's, Have an AUX input, and a USB port that will work with iPod or iPhone (not a major need though). I have an XO vision something or other 3" screen DVD player type head unit that I got from wal mart online for like 100$, and I'm just not impressed with the quality or controls. In order to do anything on the HU you have to use the remote control, which is extremely annoying. The built in EQ is pitiful too. Thinking about upgrading my head unit to something that is ipod friendly with good sound quality and high pre-amp volts. I'm still not getting the full output of my sub (BL 12), most likely because of low/bad signals from the LOC crudely tapped into the rear speakers at the moment. But I would like to get a new head unit that will give me nice clean signals straight from the head unit. I've narrowed it down to these two (although I'm open for suggestions, like always). I've read on the Steve Meade Forums that this line of the Pioneer head unit was great. But the Kenwood seems very similar. I am thinking of getting a new head unit. I really like double din monitor head units. I have seen the pioneer avics and i really like them but i don't know if i want to spend upwards of 500 on a head unit. Does anyone know of any other quality brands for head units that would have something like what im looking for? It also needs to have 2 sets of rca outputs and 1-2 sets of rca inputs including video.

I currently have a Pioneer 9800BT headunit with the ipod interface. I want to run active and unfortunately this headunit is not capable of meeting my needs. I want a headunit that is very SQ and processing oriented. I was looking at the Pioneer 880prs hoping that it could be a direct drop in. What is the difference between the 800 and the 880prs? Also is the new eclipse CD7200MKII far superior then the 880prs? and how does the alpine 9887 stack up in this lineup. This headunit will run to a sundown 100.4 amp which amps Peerless HDS tweets and the sea excel 18nx mids. Any suggestions and opinions would be appreciated.

Alright dont have much cash but what are some of the best headunits out there that are around $200. Please tell me why it would be a good choice.
