What should i have my x over and subsonic set on? i have my bass all the way up and my gain around 1/2. Should i change that? i have a 15 inch fi bl

I am running an audioque 2200 and a second battery it's a vmax charge tank t1000 I know I'll need a fuse under hood for my positive power that will be a 200amp and I have another fuse that's a 300 amp kicker I'll put that one right before my power goes into my second battery and I am havin the big three what size do u think of fuse I should have on my positive from my battery to my alternator or do I need one ?

on my highs amp, im running the power wire as 8 gauge and the ground wire as 4 gauge(i was told this was ok by a friend and professional installer). im not doubting his credibility, i just wanted to know what are the advantages and disadvantages if there are any to wiring your amps this way

I picked up a used SAZ1500 for $50 off Facebook Marketplace, guy thought it didn't work. Figured I'd send it for repair, and be into a great amp for under $200. Got it home, fiddled with it, and found that none of the controls work, but if I run a signal through the slave input, it does indeed work. So it's stuck in slave mode. Does anyone know how to get it out of slave mode? I'd love to be able to set the gain properly, dial my system in the way it should be done. AND.... with proper electrical, can this amp be run at .5 ohms? Good ventilation, dual runs of 1/0 to dual 1/0-1/0 reducers at the amp, 250 amp alternator. I bought 2 IDMAX 10" D4's CHEAP, was putting one in the wifes car and selling other but she wants to wait on her stereo. So I am putting both in my expedition. I have never had any ID subs and these are only ones I have heard. I listen to mostly Rock, metal, some country. I have read to do sealed mostly and some say ported. I was either going to run a sundown 1000 or alpine pdx 1000. Any suggestions on these? thanks

I just ordered 2 d3100s for the back of my suv. I have 2 runs of 1/0 running from the front battery (d6500) to the back. I am running 4 sundown 1500s, a sundown 50.4, and a sundown 125.2. What would be the best way to wire all of this? This is what I had in mind: Each of the d3100s would get its own run of 1/0 gauge directed from the front battery. I would run 2 of the 1500s to 1 d3100 and another 2 to the other d3100. Then I would hook up the 50.4 to 1 d3100 and the 125.2 to the other d3100. Does this sound like the best possible method?

ive never even helped installing a security system before...led alone one this complicated. I have a pheonix digital (i know) PD-175. The only major problems i could find with this was the rem starter. and i have a manual so i dont give a rats ass about that chit. Ok guys just wondering what you would recommend me I can do on my current electrical. Currently I have an 18 Fi Bl d2 running with a sundown Saz-1500d. My electical consists of the big three being done in 1/0 gauge and an optima yellow top up front with around 1000 ca and a newer Ford 700ca battery in back. I am just looking for a setup to get lower and louder than the BL can. The Bl is in a 7.3ish cu ft book tuned at like 31-32 hz. Currently my headlights lights have almost no dimming whatsoever so I know I have a decent electrical. My budgets right around 800. So I'm looking into selling the BL on here and getting the BTL. well back at the turkey drag show someone broke into my ride and stole all my amps, and my hu, plus some other random stuff. so i figured this is a good chance too upgrade. picked this up off of LEM43606, shipping was fast, he had everything the amp came with as if bought new, even the brown factory shipping box the display factory box is shipped in. and he went a little beyond what is necessary, and made me some vinyl decals for my car. would not hesitate too do business again with him. I drive a 08 mazda 6i sedan, non bose. I have a LOC with 2 pairs of rcas (front/rear). Right now I have a 2-channel amp for the front 2 speakers on the front rcas, and a monoblock for my sub on the back. Well I purchased a 4 channel amp, and 2 bass shakers (one for under eachseat up front). What I was planning on doing, is switching my 2 channel amp for the 4 channel, so all 4 speakers would be on the 4 channel amp, and the 2 channel with the bass shakers. The monoblock will be untouched, if it doesnt need to be. Do I need to just use rca splitters, or could I just run the 4 channel off the front RCA, and use the rca output of the monoblock to feed the 2 channel? Im afr…

this is an old blown amp i had just sitting around. i took the case off to see whats up with it. i dont really give a crap about it. brand and model is SPL FX2-2200. i think i wired my sub to .5 on it when i just started in car audio. wondering what the burnt mark is. i kinda wana try and fix it just for fun or just rip it apart just for fun any input?

I was wondering will the memphis mojo 4kw run at a 1/2 ohm on burps with proper voltage. I do know that the 08 version will run at 1/2 ohm but they changed a few things on the new mojo.

Newb here. Im thinking of getting a rear battery in my tahoe. I've done the big 3 in 1/0.Some people tell me to run the positive wire from front batt. Others say run it from from my alt to rear batt. For grounding some say go from negative on front batt to negative on rear batt. Some say ground to the chassis. Some say get an isolator and relay. What am I really suppose to do and do I really need an isolater and relay. What do they do

ok...i have a sony cd player that im wanting to put in my truck.....i know what all the wires for the cd player are except 2......the blue and the blue/white.....i know one of them will be the remote......and im assuming the other will be the illumination...and the next thing i need is the factory color codes for the truck....its a 96 isuzu hombre.........and dont tell me installdr.com they dont have info on my isuzu

Alright here the deal i just got my custom built box in today. so i go to hook it up after wiring my subs up to my new box to my amp and right when i turn on my car and my cd player i hear no bass or music coming from my door speakers. so i go to the back to check both my 4 channel amp and my sub amp and they both show power like nothing is wrong just no sound.

i have a sundown 2000d amp and its going in a ram 2500 which has 2 batteries under the hood. am i going to need to put a Kinetik battery in the back by the amp to keep it cool and to avoid any damage to my amp. it will by pushing a nightshade 12 v.2

Whats to be said for American Bass amplifiers? Hows the quality? any known problems? certain ones to watch out for? Ive seen them used on numerous youtube video's but that really tells me nothing. Reason for this thread is there is a local craigslister who has the VFL 150.1 i believe it is and states its capable of 2900rms @ 1 ohm. Price is something I could easily swing. Ive had my eye on a refurb saz-3500d from db-r lately but for the price of this one it may just be a better route. Just for reference saz 3500 at db-r is about $780 and the VFL 150.1 is $250. Does anyone know of a standalone subsonic filter you can buy? My friend bought a Kicker ZX700.5 and it doesn't have one... But he doesn't need a full audio processor or crossover, just the subsonic filter. I'm looking for something that preferably hooks into the RCA's, but if there are any other options please let me know. Thanks for the help
