Does Audioque e-mail you or send you any tracking info when you order from them, because I bought my 2200d the same day I bought my wiring kit and the kit is sitting next to me. I have gotten nothing from Audioque at all. I'm calling them tomorrow, but before I do I just want to know what their policy is.

So, we did a rewire, and the Pioneer has been sitting for a little while. Went to test speakers and the h/u wouldnt power up, except the amps were turning on, h/u was getting power though. Fuse looked fine.

With a pretty significant build on the horizon now steering towards higher end equipment, i still am not ready to part with my factory head unit unless it becomes an absolute must. I prefer the OE look and like the fact that my navi and bluetooth are integrated in the setup now, although i know that with a little tweaking i could likely make them work with something different, if needs be. On the G35 w/ the Bose system, all the processing is done at the actual factory amp. The leads running from the factory receiver are low level already and many people prefer the results with the RCA cables spliced/soldered into those leads over using an LOC. I myself initially had used…

Copied from earlier post below by Shizzzon. quick answer- A cap will discharge EVERYTHING in it's bank when a rush of current is requested... A battery will compensate for the current requested when the alternator can't or the regulator doesn't react fast enough. If you could.. try and imagine your battery going completely dead then back to recharging every other few seconds?!?! You can't imagine that at all.. So, you got your alt, a big battery bank and a big ass cap- The cap will ALWAYS be getting drained and recharged all the time... What's recharging it? The alternator... When it's doing that, it's providing less power to the audio system which results in more voltage…

Need some help and thoughts. When I crank my system and it starts hitting the low bass notes the engine idle falls and it almost kills the truck. It never did this with my old system. Here is a break down of the old system and the new sytem. I've asked around and no one seems to have an idea other than that the pg amps are power hungry. Old system JL 1000/1 2 JL 12W6 JL 300/4 200 amp alt 2 awg from batt to the fuse block and 4 awg to amps. New setup 2 Pg ti600.2 2 JL 12W6 Ti 500.4 200 amp alt Yellow top under hood all charging wires with 0 awg (big 3) 0 awg wire to a second batt in the truck (kinetik 1800) with 4 awg wire to amps. Was drivin around testin out new speakers and was turning up the volume, and when it hit 29/35 everything just shut off. So i figured I blew a fuse. I checked the fuse box numerous times and the fuses are all fine. Took out the HU cuz a buddy said there was a fuse behind it... nothing... I have no clue where to go from this point.

Can you ever have to much battery? I can fit a powermaster d3100 up front and I am also getting a 200 amp alt from excessive. My system only consists of a alpine mrd1005d mono amp and the sundown 100.4. How do these batteries compare to kinetik?

I know everyone's going to be like after reading this but please bare with me. I have a Pioneer 800prs and 3sixty.2 that I want to use together for a 3way + sub active setup. I'm just looking for the best way to hook them up to eachother. Alright, the 3sixty.2 allows 50hz-10khz on the front and rear outputs and 50hz-200hz on the sub output. Center will not be utilized unless later on I feel like adding a light rear fill (mono). The 3sixty also allows Bandpass, HP, LP, and Bypass on the front and rear outputs and LP only on the sub output. The 3sixty has a 31-band EQ for the Front Channels, 27-band EQ for the Rear and Center channels, and a 10-band EQ for the subwoofer.…

The guy has two for sale a big one and a portable one. 100 for the big one. 50 for the portable. I can't tell which one is which but is this a good deal anyways? I don't know how much I could use this or even how. But I know they're expensive. So my question is should I call him and get it now or just settle for setting my gains with a dmm or just by ear? Here's the link. http://austin.craigslist.org/ele/1560089213.html

  13. Is there any way to wire my iPod to my factory deck? It doesn't have an aux input, and I don't want to run it off a radio frequency due to shitty SQ. I plan on running an MTX re-q sound processor to run my subwoofer/amp, but otherwise I will have a stock 2003 Toyota Camry system. *Edit* Just read up on the MTX re-Q5, looks like it has an aux input...would this work for me? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_10834_MTX+Audio+reQ-5+-re-Q+%3Csup%3E5%3C-sup%3E-.html Any ideas would be appreciated, i'm stumped here Thanks!

I need to find the right amplifier for the job and there are a few selections I'm not familiar with. I am planning on useing 2 Diamond audio D1 10' 200rms in a sealed downfiring box to go under the seat of an '02 GMC Sierra extended cab. My choices so far are RE XT 800.2----not to familiar with these amps Diamond Audio D400.1----these either, but I have heard them on the same set up in the same truck sounded great,(also most expensive of the amps) Hifonics BXi1201----had this one before, it was awesome, but it was for SPL, I want to lean a little more towards, SQ this time. Any other suggestions would be helpful, I am trying to stay around $300, and I need at least 400 …

Would a 3 or 5 channel amp be effective for a front stage and a sub stage. or would it be best to have 2 seperate amps i saw i believe it was a arc audio 3 channel amp the other day with the perfect power amount for my current plan of comps up front and a single ssa dcon 12 in the rear. On a side note i had seen the fi ssd 12s and they look nice but there is quite a price difference and if im not mistaken they require quite a bit more power than the dcon am i mistaken ? I am pretty sure the dcon is my number one choice im just wondering how it measures up against the ssd what are the major differences?

I am posting this topic for a friend. I cannot figure out what is wrong with this thing. Here is what is going on. Voltage remains steady. When subs are off the front speakers do not cut out reguardless of volume. When the subs are on the front speakers cut out at higher volumes. I disconnected one speaker at a time at the amp and ran each speaker separately and they front left cut out when connected and the front right cut out when connected. I checked all the connections near the amp and everything seems to be fine. The gains are also set below normal. What could be wrong? The amplifier is not bad because it would have cut out with the subs off.

Or if I hooked it up now to a stock battery would there be any damage? and second question, I flubbed up and read the ebay post wrong and ordered 2 S3400 from XS power, I wanted D3400s, whats the difference and would I regret using the S over the D series?

Newb here. Im thinking of getting a rear battery in my tahoe. I've done the big 3 in 1/0.Some people tell me to run the positive wire from front batt. Others say run it from from my alt to rear batt. For grounding some say go from negative on front batt to negative on rear batt. Some say ground to the chassis. Some say get an isolator and relay. What am I really suppose to do and do I really need an isolater and relay. What do they do

Ok so i got a 3sixty.1 It was free and brandnew versus the cost of a 3sixty.2 I know theres a big difference but i figure free can negate those differences for you. Anyway. My radio has some alternator whine/engine noise. Its an AVIC-F90BT. I was wondering if the 3sixty would negate the engine noise because its grounded or would it just simply amplify it. Thanks guys.
