Had one sitting around i picked up and been using since my kickers in for repairs.... Took her apart and looked around on amp guts. IDENTICAL to the 3000D BUT with the addition of fuses. Appears damn near 100% match. Ile take pics tommorow. For a cheap amp it has a ton of output power.

Hey guys, I've been trying to decide which head unit to buy. Which one would you guys buy? How does the screen clarity compare?

basically i just wanna no all the wires i will need for my system consisting of 2 subs, 2 amps, components, and a big 3 upgrade. what i have listed is: 1/0 knukonceptz power/ground for the amps to the battery and the big 3 upgrade. 10 gauge speaker wire for the amp to the speakers. 1 question i have about the speakers is do i hook up the crossover to the amp then the crossover to the speaker? and all with speaker wire? also do i use RCA cables or speaker wire to connect the sub to the amp? and finally do i use RCA cables to go from the amps to the head unit? if i got anything wrong please tell me. any help is appreciated!! thanks!

Is the JL Audio A4300 amp a good match with 4 Infinity Reference 6822cf speakers? I got the speakers for free and just wanted a good cheap amp to power them to their full potential. Also is there something else you would recommend for these speakers instead? Everything was working perfectly til yesturday when I took out my batterys ground and added another ground wire, when I turned the car back on my voltage gauge and both amps powered up but the HU didn't light up at all and started beeping really fast for the first few seconds then stopped, I hit the reset button on the HU and now nothing powers up (HU, amps, voltage gauge)...I checked both fuses on the amp (1 fuse on red power wire, 1 glass fuse on yellow "back up" wire) both were replaced and I've checked the necessary fuses in the interior fuse box with no luck... Right now my setup is(see sig) and I have BAD voltage problems. I believe my problem is that I have a 2ga wire from the front battery to the back(came with the car,to lazy to change it) where I branched 3 runs of 4ga wire off it to my 3 amps. Now I was wondering if I ran 1 or 2 runs of 1/0ga from the front to the back would that cure my problem?

ok i'm guessing i can buy it for 400$ the 4000watt one. but is it worth it? i mean how many watts am i going to get out of this thing? If i get this i will have to wait and sell my amp before i even get one of my 18's. So is it worth it?

I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.7L V6 and it comes stock with a 90amp alt BUT Im pretty sure if im running 2 15in Fi BL's ill need one right? I bought a Soundstream 1000amp hybrid capacitor but I dont know it that wil be enough if im running those speakers on the Kicker zx2500.1. Just checking with yall to see and make sure... dont wanna mess up anything you know? If you guys think ill still need one do you have any suggestions? I checked that Irragas store but they didn't have one for my car =(

Soo what is a good idle amperage for the alternator to have? I've been doin alot of searchin and research, but never really found the answer to this question. I've seen 200a alts that only put out 60-100a at idle. I've also seen 200a alts that put out 100+ at idle. what is a good rating? i know u can get a smaller pulley to make the alt spin faster.\ Just curious because i see a 200a alt i like for 179$ and it does 95a at idle. thats more than i have now cuz i ony have a 95a alt, lol P.s. My transmission went out, secong one in there, plus a new engine. But the alt on a town car and navigator are the same so no worries

Just wondering, when connecting from engine block to chassis ground, can I mount from the air compressor bolt to chassis ground? the air compressor is all metal, so i assume its grounded, since it lays on top of the engine. thanks in advance

I am looking for a new head unit for my friend who doesn't have much experience with audio. He has an 01 Dodge Ram Regular Cab...bone stock audio system. He has a budget of about $250. He is planning on eventually putting new speakers as well as maybe a 10 ported if he can fit it. Anyways...I was looking at the Pioneer DEH-P9400BH as it has 4V RCA Preouts and all the goodies like HD Radio Tuner, Bluetooth, Pandora etc...but anyways I thought I would get some advice from other more experienced people...any suggestions?

I'm going to install two amps one is mono and the other is a 4 channel for my mids and highs. I already have the power, ground, and rem wire, but the only thing is how can i get two rca's if my headunit only has one connection?

Hey guys, I finally found 2 amps that I'm trying to choose between for my 4 SA-10s. I am either going to purchase a used saz 2000 or the saz 3000. I was wondering what kind of electrical is needed to run power one of these 2 beasts. I currently have a DC HO Alt that Is 110/170 idle/max and a kinetik 1400 under the hood with a kinetik 600 in the rear. ( I will also have 0 awg ran from front to back and 0 awg big 3 ). I'm not sure what is needed to keep voltage up with the 2k or 3k? Should this be enough? I'm not sure what most people have these on, I saw a few people say they had stock 90 amp Alts with just 2 large batts so I wasnt sure! Thanks guys!

to run two kicker cvx DVC 4 ohm speakers (will be running them at 1 ohm). looking to spend between 300-350$ if anyone has any other amps they might suggest. Thanks!
