I sold my amp (thanks, ulrisa) so I'm in the market for a new one to power my 10" Dcon. Is there really any advantage to running this amp on a sub. I know alot of sound quality guys love this amp to use on tweeters and mids. I was under the impression that once this amp pushes out a certain amount of watts it switches from class a mode to an a/b amp. The only advantage i see is that its stable down to .25 ohms. Anybody that knows about this amp please comment

i just had some weird dreams i was being bitten by blackwidow spiders on my left hand and woke up in a panic. (i'm terrified of spider). so it lead me to go to soundstreams website to look at what kind of amps they offer. i see this D tower thing looks pretty sweet. anybody have any experience with it? i found a place on ebay that sell is it for 328 each. they only problem i really see with it is you cannot lay it down. ebay D-Tower also that cant be right... can it? direct 4 awg power?!

Does anyone know if the first line of Soundstream D-tower amps where made by Soundstream or Power Akoustik? It seems like a solid amp and can run at .25 ohm no sweat. Does anyone happen to know?

Ive been looking at this amp to power my 2 12" 1ohm Fi Q's. I am on a budget and this amp looks good for the money. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this amp. I was looking at the Hifonics 2006d before this one, but i hear its terrible so im trying to go in a different direction. Thanks, Ben

Anyone have any personal expierence with the soundstream pca2000d. they are rated 2000 watts rms. Anyone know if its underrated or overrated? Does anyone have any experience with these? Or the line. I used to run The old SPL's SPL160s and the Rubi 1002. Did very well with them. I know epsilon owns them now. Do they do rated, Efficient, Will they run at .67 or .5 Ohm? any and all help is appreciated. Price wise and Numbers they look good but after Carrying and running American Bass and Power bass Amplifiers it's kinda hard to deviate.

i want one of these amps for a fi btl 15. which would be more reliable and push out more true rms watts? are there any other amps that would be good for a btl in the range of $300-$400? thanks

I'm looking for a nice 2 channel amp to power my new IA components. I was browsing and found a soundstream rubicon 2 channel that Puts out 130x2 at 4 ohms and 225x2 at 2 ohms. What do you guys think? Are they decent amps? I found one for like 135. Any insight would help.

Does this amp work at 4 ohms?... There is no rating i could find for it at 4 ohms and id need it at that if i get it untill igot a new sub. At 2 ohms it puts out 1100 rms so at 4 would it be like 550?

I need a new 2 channel to drive some 6.5"s in the doors. I need something on the small side and not looking to spend a lot. Mind you I don't want some Walmart brand $30 specials either. Anyway, back in the day I had a Soundstream Lil' Wonder amp. Loved that thing to death. Hi, need a small powerfull amp for one ssd 10 dual 2. I think about one Fosgate PUNCH P1000-1BD or one Soundstream Stealth Series STL1.1200D. The Punch is BD class and has 1000watts and the soundstream ab class and has 1,2kw... The amp has to be stable and powerfull but most importantly SMALL..... Whats the better choice?? Patrick

I need some help guys/gals. I will most likely be running a set of Focal 165K2P comps and a 12" ED kv.2 sub from Elemental Designs. The sub can handle anywhere from 400-900 watts and the 165k2p's are a 200W max speaker although i have been told they can handle every bit of 200W if done correctly. I would like to buy one nice amp to power both the comps and the sub. the first amp i have found that is capable and in my price range is the SoundStream TR800.5. its a 5 channel amp that does 200x2, 400x1 in bridged mode. hi, i am looking for a budget 4 channel amp that can do atleast 200rms at @ 2 ohm for a freind and he doesn't want to spend more then 350 on the amp. and i was looking at a Soundstream TRA960.4 for him and i am wondering if anybody has any experiace with them. and another option is a cadence TXA-6004 forgot to mention it will be running a active gront stage with it and the processor is alpine 9887

looking to run 2 XXX 6500's on to T3 audio tsns 15's in a flat wall in my car for super street 1-2 class i have heard that the 6500 is a beast but also sucks current any body got any suggestions? will be powered by kinetik 16v's (12 to 18 batteries)
