I'm going to get a fi bl 12 with a SAZ-1000D amp and i was wondering if i needed anther battery or alternator or anything like that. my car is a 1997 honda accord lx and everything is stock.

Well for some reason my power winodws and my interior lights are not working any more so im guessing its my battery because i was away for 4 weeks and i came back and it was dead but wahtever, so im assuming my battery is like shitty but i wanted to get a new battery anyways so if i get a new battery would this help me out in the future for my 2 bl 12's and sax 1500d amp? i plan on getting a optima red top oir should i get a yellow top? i just need a new battery in general not just one battery to power my amp im going to get this done within the next hour and hopefully they change the battery for me thanks also could i just use my old battery to power the amp ? or do i n…

alright so i have a cheap walmart wet cell battery under the hood.... now i bought i xs power d3100 to run my amps off of in the trunk.... can i wire the 2 batteries parallel together or should i just run them seperate to the alternator ?? if i should run them seperate how should i do it ?? i wasnt sure if i could run them together since one is a wet cell while the other is a dry cell. i wanna run my cars electrical off of the walmart battery and the amps off of the d3100.

Hey guys, i seem to be having a few problems with my system just a couple days ago and i was wondering if you guys have any idea of what might be going on before i go searching for the problem myself. I have 2 12" FI Qs running at 600 watts each, so an overall of 1200. Just a couple days ago i was testing a few songs on the system, nothing out of the ordinary, everything was working fine. Does anyone have any idea what the saz-3500d would put out watt wise at 1.33ohm while being fed 12v?

I currently have my Orion 2500d mounted on the top flat. I pan on putting the 18" on top facing up, and the amp on the side. Will it be ok as far as heating is concered?

can a HO alt still work but get damaged and charge at a lower voltage, around 13.8V when it used to charge around 14.8V?

VVME QA-D1500 I hear its pretty much the same as the Audiopipe ASPM-1500 not sure how true that is. but i figure i could use it one day so ill keep it around for something to play with.

hey guys i am new two the whole speaker set up thing but knows some about amps and subs. My question is i have 1997 f150 regular cab with four speakers one in each door and one beehind each seat. Are these stock speakers active or passive? I really dont know what the difference is between active and passive if you guys could help me understand that would be great. I also plan on replaceing these speakers by next year and i would like two know if i should run an active or passive speaker set? AVH-P5200BT I can buy one today brand new for 450.00 I like it because of the 4v Pre Out, the 8 band EQ and watching music videos would be cool. I think it'd be a nice upgrade from my Alpine IDA-x305s that got stolen. Thoughts?

guys i need your help. i have a sundown sax-1200d powering 2 sa-12s. lately the amp has been making this high pitch noise as soon as i turn my car on, and after 20 minutes of playing it will go into protect mode and it gets pretty hot. is the amp screwed up or is it something else? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I'm thinking of getting this to push rl-i 8"s in the wifes car. I had a directed 1500D, but it's on it's way out. It states that it'll do 1500@1ohm, but how true to rated power does this amp do? hey guyz..... got a question. i had planned on running 4 awg from the battery terminal down to the fuse and then on the other end of the fuse continue with 4 awg and then put a distribution block. then run 4 awg to the other amps from the block. is this ok? or no? running 4 amps, all the same gauge wire

i just put in a used alpine cda- something it has an ipod cord but i cant get it to work. On the very right side of the deck there is a power light under that a tittle button and a light that say ipod when you hook up the ipod that light should light up right and to use your i pod you pick ipod from the source menu right ? But the ipod light dont come on and there is no ipod on the source menu. any clue what my problem is think it's the deck or the cord? and i know its not the ipod because it works fine with everything els

I have a 2008 trailblazer with stock electrical. I have the t400-4 and a t1000-1bd. Will I be alright with the big 3 and a new battery, like an optima redtop (yellow top wont go in my car) or do you guys know of any better batteries for about the same price (under $200)? Also, where can i get 0 gauge battery cables for the big 3?

Why does everyone run 2 Kinetik Hc1800s instead of 1 HC3800? You get more power and its easier to set up and its the same price if not cheaper. Would this battery also be enough with the two amps and a 200A alternator?

I have a JX1000/1d and when ever I start my car it works fine green light and music bumpin. I turn the car off to take the bar off, turn it back on and its in protect and wont turn green unless I wait a long time. It only works first start up, I checked the ohms coming from the sub and its a steady 2.0 and also took all the wiring off the amp and put it back on, still nothing. Really pissed off Iv checked everything I can think, anybody have this prob before?
