So i purchased a stetsom 7KD and I am curious what the external fuse rating is. i looked up the manual online but it only has info for the two ohm version. The one i purchased is the one ohm 12 volt version. Also when i install this amp I will add another battery or two to what i have.I have noticed that a lot of setups have unfused connections on their terminals. As of now i have two batteries with two fuses 12 inches from each terminal. so if i install a third would i need another two fuses or would that only be necessary if they were a certain distance apart? And of course when i do the install i will do another positive run and dual input terminals. Thanks

I finally installed the stetsom 7KD (1 ohm 12 volt) and it ran very well but just yesterday it began going into protect. It throws a protect with one blink and the manual tells me that its a short circuit or below impedance.I'm running the amp at a half ohm nominal. It starts doing this when i roll into heavy bass. I triple checked all of my connections and everything is solid, voltage is in mid 13's when it cuts off.

Just sold my kicker 10's and 3k amp, and am looking to go to 6 bigger tens. I will be running either the Q's or BL's from fi, or still possibly some sundown tens. I will be running at 2/3 ohm nominal, and have narrowed my amp choices down to either the Sundown NS1, or the Stetsom 7ke. I used to be a part of Team Sundown so I know what the amps are capable of, and I know I will get every bit of 7k out of it, but what about the stetsom? how does it stack up? I already read a thread in their section about the single power/ground, so not too concerned about that. This will be a musical setup for bassrace and bass boxing, so not just talking burps here. I already have the …

Are stepsom amps really the best amps? if not, are they really good and do they really put out the power they say for example, does the V 14K2D really put out 14000wrms @ 12 volts or not? Last thing, how much are these amps from the V 9K2D too the V 142KD? Heres a link just incase: http://www.stetsom.com.br/eng/Produtos.aspx (Go to amps and click on "DIGITAL")

I've been looking for a simple, easy to use processor that did not require a PC. I ordered this very intriguing processor and will post reviews after I install it during Thanksgiving week break.

I just installed a Kicker 10"sub enclosure/ZX400.1 amp and 4 Kenwood 6.5 component sets in my 2000 Trans am running them off the stock Monsoon amp. I have an older Pioneer GM-H120 amp sitting around collecting dust. Specs aren't that much at: 4 x 30W @ 4 ohms (0.05% THD) 4 x 45W @ 2 ohms (0.05% THD) 2 x 90W @ 4 ohms bridged (0.05% THD) Would it be worth the trouble to replace the Monsoon with this? Thanks in advance.

so as stated, i'm still trying to figure out the best amp to get for my subs. i am in search of an amp that will push 1500 rms at 1.5 ohms. ignoring price, just curious as to what amps out there will push that power at that resistance. thanks

Does anybody know what the max load Stinger 0 gauge wire has? I have my h.o.(150a) alternator to batt. wire fused at 300a, and I'm wondering if that fuse rating is too high for the wire and if I need to drop down to a 250a fuse. Is this even something to worry about? I just wanna make sure the wire is fused correctly just in case something happens.

Looking into running a stinger SPP1200 up under the hood and a SPP2150 in the rear. Are these batteries reliable and strong enough to support 3000 - 3500rms on stock electrical with big3 and 130amp alt. And how do these compare to the others like Powermaster Kinetik etc. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Just wondering where I should connect my stinger voltmeter.. I read some how-tos on it and it seems pretty simple but I haven't really seen a defined place to attach it to. Should I toss it on the front battery (under the hood) or in the trunk with the bat back there and wire it to the drivers seat?

I currently have a 90 amp alternator, im not sure if i should purchase a HO alternator (150 amps). During the week i will be doing the big 3 upgrade along with purchasing a new baterry. The battery im getting is a Deka Intimidator AGM battery: Group Size 78 Warranty 72 Month Chemistry AGM Cold Cranking Amps 740 Cranking Amps 850 Reserve Capacity 120 Amp Hour Rate 55 The sound system im going to be adding is 2 12 Fi BLs and a hifonoics Brutus BRZ2100.1D. So, do i stay stock or go to HO alt, moneys tight so id only get the new alt if its absolutely necessary.

I have a 2003 Saturn Ion with a 2.2L Ecotech Engine with a stock 105A alternator, im trying to upgrade my big three but im running into obstacles so im coming here for some creative input. Yesterday I pulled the box out my trunk and finally took the spare out since its pointless in being under there and got to my starting battery (located in trunk where Saturn puts them). I completed the Big 1 so far using Kicker 1/0 Gauge ground wire and my voltage is outstanding so far when I idle I dont stay 14.0v to 14.1v (use to be 13.7v to 13.8v) when I crank my car im at 14.3v to 14.4v (use to be 14.0v to 14.1v in this Texas Summer Heat we been in the 100's last few days) and when …
