is this amp realllllly under rated or sumthing 1.5k at 1ohm...for a 4k D? this isn't just for flakko lol anyone else can chime in it was just bothering me why its marked 4000d and its power is 1.5k

would i be able to use my moto q to make adjustments on this unit?? i currently have no eq and processing (other than that on my panasonic 8305) would i notice a great difference in sound by installing this?? my current setup: pg rsd6.5 old school hifonics 2x100 rms 3 12" hx2 t20001bd would this really put a smile on my face or will i regret buying it?? thanks for the help guys

I'm looking at an alpine class D sub amp and wondered if anyone has used them. Its the smaller 301 but might maybe be large enough for me not sure. Anyway, it looks to have a parametric eq in it even...that would be nice. Anyone used them? I guess I'm wondering if one would work ok for my sort of SQ system, instead of an older class AB that takes more power. My kicker class d seems to work ok, but assume the Alpine is better quality yet.

I have a crossover/eq and a petra full range crossover.I have to much midrange and has to much mid in the speakers.Can i use my eq to controll my mids.

Does anybody know where I could find some free wiring diagrams for installing car stereos? I install a lot of aftermarket cd-players for my friend because he owns a car lot and having a website that would show me what is what would really speed things up. I am about to put in a DVD screen into a 2001 Caddilac Deville and was wondering if anyone knew where i could find the diagram for the speakers wire colors. Any help will be appreciated. thanks

Ive been looking at this amp to power my 2 12" 1ohm Fi Q's. I am on a budget and this amp looks good for the money. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this amp. I was looking at the Hifonics 2006d before this one, but i hear its terrible so im trying to go in a different direction. Thanks, Ben

How does american bass stack up quality-wise to sundown? Specifically the xd3000 to the saz1500? Any help would be appreciated.

the resistor sit between the coil and the 12 capacitors thats in the location number r501 on the board if someone has a hc100 please look at it and tell me it should be easy to see being its a plexiglass bottom damn us amp wont tell me they wanted me to send it in but yeah whatever there goes a bad reference for a authorized us amp dealer so i guess we arent gonna do business with them after all please let me know anyone with a hc 100 made in 1999 and maybe other years too

Still looking for a 4 channel amp to run an active setup in my friends car. Planning on running SEAS 27TFFNC Tweet and CA18RNX. I saw these amps and thought I should get some opinions from you guys. Here they are. Soundstream TRA960.4 MB Q RAB 450 PP A600/4 All of these amps are around $250 -325 and is the budget for amps as of now. Are there any other choices that would be better in this price range?

I found this amp while searching for a good cheap amp. I know that if I spend the extra ($400) I can get a good amp, but this one sure looks like a RF T1000.1. Hey guys im looking to try out the maxx link but i have a question for ya. Im gonna be running 4 kicker zx2500.1 amps and 2 18in Btl dual 1 ohm subs. The zx amps are 2 ohm stable and i was wondering if there is any possible configuration to have the amps see a 2ohm load once strapped. Also would i be better without the maxx link and running each amp to each coil? What ohm loads could i see there. thanks

This seems like such a simple question, but I can't find the answer. What are the advantages and disadvantages between two different amps that put out the same out of power but at different resistances? Mainly looking for answers on a more technical level, like which will put less strain on my electrical system or which is thermally/mechanically better for the subwoofer. hi, i am wondering which amp would be better, i will be running my front stage with one of the other and it will be active but the processor will be my hu ( alpine cda 9887). ok here are the choices: new Eclipse Xa4000 bought online so an iffy warrenty. or a B stock sax100.4b that the bottom of the amp is slightly dented but has a 1 year warrenty with sundown.

Ok, so I'll try to keep this explanation short but informative. I have a JL 450/4 and Rockford Fosgate T20001BD. I have a NTB batter in the front...just regular battery. Going from that battery is two 4 gauge power wires. Those go into an isolator. From there the wries each have a 100amp fuse and run to the back of the car to a Optima Yellow Top. The Yellow Top is grounded 1ft. from itself to the car chassis. I have a remote wire going from the Head Unit to the back of the car. That runs into the JL amp and splits there and goes to the Fosgate. Ok so that's the setup, now heres the problem. Ever since I got this new Fosgate amp (previously had a JL 500/1 instead) …
