I have a Rockford Fosgate punch 501s 1500W amp These are the specs- Bridged Into A 4-Ohm Load: 500 watts x 1 Per Channel Into A 2-Ohm Load: 250 watts x 2 Per Channel Into A 4-Ohm Load: 125 watts x 2 Im really interested in buying a single gcon 12 and was wondering if it would work with this amp and if so does anyone have anysuggestions on how i would wire it up to sound good. here is a link to the Gcon 12" http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/gcon-12-sound-solutions-audio-12-750w-gcon-series-subwoofer.html let me know what you think Thanks..

I'm trying to figure out what electrical setup I need to support a 3000+ watt system. I'm thinking a DC power 270A H.O. Alternator, XS Power XP3000 battery as a secondary, as well as 1/0 through out , of course I could be off with this assumption.

I currently have my Orion 2500d mounted on the top flat. I pan on putting the 18" on top facing up, and the amp on the side. Will it be ok as far as heating is concered?

Atomic AT 1600.1D vs Sundown SAZ 1500D. In terms of quality, components used, heatsink which amp is better? I know they are both Zenon boards so the circuity looks identical but overall which has a heavier heatsink and is better? Thanks

Driving a 03' bmw 325i sedan, have a JVC KD-AVx77 and it doesn't fit. The dash kit I purchased doesn't even fit it. I also think that the panel that goes over the dash kit doesnt even fit the unit either. Anyone know what I can do? Am I going to have to customize it?

My friend has a 2004 Kicker L7 8. He needs an amp for it. It is DVC 4 ohm. He wants to put around 750-1000 watts on it. He also doesn't want to spend a lot of money. I have tried to find a good amp for that price, but its hard to get full power with that vc configuration.

hey guys u have a fi bl 18in dual 1 ohm going to a 1200gto jbl amp at 1200watts rms at 2ohm. i want to make sure that i had this right when i go to set my gains. So i put the 50hz tone. The math is 1200X2(rmsXimdependance) then take the square root of that so i should get 48.98 so when i go to set my gains and i use the volt metter i should set it until i get to 48.98. im pretty sure thats how you do it but just wanna double check dont wanna blow my sub im goin to post pics soon the box for it is amazing custom paint by friend

Does the SAZ-3000 accept a hifonics remote gain knob cord? If not then where can I get one? any place like Fry's or radio shack have them? or adapters?

has any 1 ever used Lanzar's optidrive series amplifers? if so, what are the some helpful reviews on it. is it a good amp with low THD does this amp put out what its ratted? can you let me know if it is a overall good amp for subs will this thing get low and still stay warm?

Ok, I recently bought a blown sax 100.4 relatively cheap. I did not need it, but wanted to see if I can fix it. I know it needs new rca inputs as one is broken, but I believe it needs a mosfet (that is my guess I have yet to do any testing). Before I go any further where can I purchase amplifier parts from knowing that they are quality parts and exactly what I need. Again this is just something I have wanted to take a crack at for awhile and a lot of people probably think this is stupid, but I am hard headed and like to tear things apart and rebuild them. Lol

I noticed Down 4 Sound shop just came out with their own LTO battery. D4S 6 LTO. For 2 of those batteries, it would be rated 6k-10k watts. How would that compare to a 80ah Yinlong LTO bank? Thanks

So i'm currently running a 12" Icon and while it's an awesome sub, Im wanting to go bigger already. I just want to push a lot more air. I'm pretty set on an 18" Fi BL or maybe 2 18" Q's. I'm wanting to feed it more power though also so Im thinking of either buying another 1000D and strapping them together, or selling my 1000D and picking up a 3000D. Would that be overkill? Ive got an Eddie Bauer Explorer(v8) and already have the Big 3 upgrade. I'll be picking up an Iraggi alt. and a Yellow Top as well. Would I need to run two batteries with this setup?

Hey people. I have a very simple question that i need answered. I have one hcca 15.2 and i have one hcca 25001 amp. I plan on buying another one of each to put in my car but just out of curiosity, both the 15.2 and the 25001 amp have been sitting up unused for quite some time, and i would like to know would that cause any malfunctioning in either of the two? So my buddy was sellin his Lanzar MaxP1200 amp for $70 and i picked it up for the hell of it, So my question is, What wrong with Lanzars exactly? They just really cheap? It says 1800 watts @ 1ohm but i dont believe it so im gonna run it at 2 ohms (900w rated) for the time being Is it a decent amp to run my Icon off of for a couple months until i buy my Audioque?

Well this is what happened. I have had this amp for about a year and its worked fine but i thought i would be different and i changed the shift phase knob on it from the end it was on to the other end b/c i thought it would allow for the subsonic filter to shut off for lower resonance but i was wrong. I believe it ended up blowing 2 cubes in my amp and now i need to get i repaired but i dont know where or how and even if i can repair it. It was a great amp and id like to keep it. Is there anyone out there that can help or might even know what i did really to make it blow? Help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i have a kicker zx1000.1 rated at 1258 watts total at 2ohms, and im goin to be buyin an 15" Fi BL soon with the p chamfer and the daily option on it. i listen to rap 99% of the time. so will that power be enough for a daily 15" Fi BL?? thanks

What would be a good touch screen radio that is bluetooth/mp3 accessible but does not play dvds? tryin 2 save a lil $ and a dvd feature is useless to me

hey everyone. i came accross this amp in my friends basement and he let me keep it. its an Alphasonik MA-2055. doesnt have the regular speaker terminals. has all the different colored wires. has power and ground leads coming out of the amp. on amp it says: minimum continuous average power: -55w per channel (2chan). both drive into 4 ohms...? -110w mono mode into 4 or 8 ohms. -freq resp 20-20khz -THD <0.05% does anyone have ANY info on it? couldnt find anything on google... thanks! Here is a video to show my new charging system. The main point of the video, which came to my surprise. But EVEN with a large electircal system, you still may not be supplying enough for your audio equipment. This was an interesting find for myself. At full tilt sort of speak, my vehicle, the vehicle itself, pulls right around 40 amps!!! That is HUGE! haha. That included, headlights which is H.I.D.s, which pulled 10 amps lol, Wiper Full blast, Front heat full blast, rear heat full blast, and interior lights on. So, let's just say I had an stock 80amp Alternator. That means 40 for the vehicle, and only 40 for the audio equipment. That is some huge information to know for y…

this may be a dumb question but i figured id give it a shot... im so tired of having my old iraggi alt (ford 3g) sitting around so is there any way possible to make this alt fit my '02 5.4 f150? it currently has a ford 6g alt. i checked and yess the plug is the same on both alts. but the bolt pattern is different. i wish i had a extra $250 siting around so i could pick up a nice used alt. for my truck but i dont and i cant get rid of this alt. so can it be done??

has anybody had any use with the Concept Audio CC-D1200 amp? It says 1200@1ohm is this a true rating? i used to own a viper vr1000d would the concept put out more then the viper?

Currently on my HU there are a lot of options for bass and sub settings. I currently have the bass setting to zero and the sub settings at -20 (lowest it can go) and on my amp I have set my gain using a DMM and reading the "how to set your amp gain" post. Now I was just curious if by having the subwoofer to -20, and having my eq for anything below 50hz set to zero or lower (on my hu) is hurting the performance at all. Currently, the gain on the woofer is about 70% of the way up and its not clipping. Do I set the sub (lets just say) at 0 and same with the built in eq for anything below 50hz? I need help running the power wires and the RCA wires through my Buick. I've done other cars but in my Buick everything seems sealed off really well. First where would be the best location to run the power wire through the firewall. Second how would I run the RCA and remote wire behind the head unit. Behind the head unit seems sealed off.
