So currently I have a Pioneer 7800MP and like the availability to tweek my crossover settings. My new interest is to have a HU capable of playing DVD's but still able to have a nice crossover. My budget is only as high as $600, maybe more if it does everything I want. Similar crossover capabilities to my current deck is what I really want. I don't think I will be going active anytime in the future so that isn't an issue. The deck in the topic is what I'm currently looking at and was curious if anyone has had any experience with it. i am lookin for a new hu that will allow me to play music and videos from my iphone and charge it at the same time.. i would like to stay below the $350. it can fit a 2din in my truck but would rather it be a single din.. ur help will be greatly appreciated

Whats the difference between the audioque AQ1200D and the Sundown Sae 1000D? What would needed in the electrical to properly run both?

I've looked around a bit and could not find a small v belt pulley for my Denso alt. 3/8 shaft I believe. Looking for something in like the 2 " range. Anyone know where I can get one? Need the right nut for it.too.

I'm looking into getting a new head unit, and I was wanting some suggestions.. I'm looking for something simple, but quality. I need ability to play MP3 CD's, Have an AUX input, and a USB port that will work with iPod or iPhone (not a major need though). I have an XO vision something or other 3" screen DVD player type head unit that I got from wal mart online for like 100$, and I'm just not impressed with the quality or controls. In order to do anything on the HU you have to use the remote control, which is extremely annoying. The built in EQ is pitiful too. i have all hyperflex 0 awg, i have a fuse between the alt and battery, at the beginning of and at the end of the run that connects the yellow top to the kinetiks, and from the kinetiks to the amp rack, which also has a anl fused distro. all fuses are 300amp except the 100amp that goes to the clarion amps. will this cause a substantial voltage drop?

whats the best way to move my starter battery from under my hood to my cargo area? im gonna have airbags and theres not gonna be much room at ALL under there, so im gonna move my battery to the cargo, and just have all my batteries back there. should i just remove the little ring thing on the factory pos. wire and extend it to the rear of my car, and then just ground the battery somewhere in the back? or should i remove both pos and neg factory wires, and run a new pos wire to the rear(still grounding the battery somewhere in the back) if so, what ga. wire should i use? im kinda scared to do this cuase there is other things coming out of the pos factory wire under the hoo…

First of all I want to apologize for another which amp type question...there are a lot of them here but don't have the info I need. I'm going to be running 2 Ascendant Audio Avalance 12" subs (dual 2ohm - 800watts RMS each) and am wondering if a Sundown 2000d will be enough for them? I used to run these way back when they first came out with a US AMPS USA-2000 (2k x1 @ 2 ohms) and was happy with the setup but the class A/B of the amp was a huge strain on my already beefed up electrical system. Also, if there is another quality amp out there that you would recommend other than the Sundown let me know. I've been out of the game for a long time! Thanks!

i just ordered all of my wiring from knukoncepts and i want to make sure i got the right fuse type. I have an aq2200d, and i got the 200A fuse type. Is that right?

will you notice any deferents between a deck with a 95 db signal to noise ratio or a deck with a 105 db. With 2 volt out puts and also the same ? with 4 v out

I bought a DC Power 250xp alt over a year ago for my 2011 Malibu. Been sitting in the garage ever since. I've found out my vehicle is PCM controlled. Is there going to be any kind of upgrade installing this thing? Did I waste $650 by not doing my homework? My system isn't anything huge but I have a 2nd battery in the back that doesn't seem to be keeping voltage up. As far as amps a sundown 1500 and a fosgate t400.4. I tried listing the alt for sale but no bites. Basically should I even bother installing this thing? DC quoted $130 to recase this. Maybe recase for my 03 Tahoe (if its not PCM controlled?)

Has anyone used these alts? Anyone used them on a Silverado with the 6.0L? How do they compare to other big brands?

i just installed my rf t8004 and rf t40001bd. For some reason the t40001bd is getting hot even when i have the sub off. I am getting engine noise in both my speakers and subs. Today I disconnected my pos terminal and then while I was driving my mids and highs went crazy on me. Out of no where they started cutting out and started crackling like they were blown and my right mid was blasting a low frequency like a sub even when i turned the music to 0. Now the right mid will only work on and off and now the left mid is doing the same thing. They are barely putting out any sound even at high volumes. Well today at the TBP bass wars event, I found out that I'm not getting any voltage readout off the RCA's from the headunit. Tried it with several meters and it wont register anything, just shows 0.00 .....So apparently, I'm not getting any RCA voltage input to the amplifiers... Someone suggested I needed a line driver to solve this problem. My question being, would this solve the probem....being that I can get a cleaner signal and can adjust it to the voltage I want.. ? hello guys i was wondering would it be ok to run 1 sub that is 150 watts rms off a 4 channel amp and run front speakers in a car on the other 2 channels of the amp ?

Ive got a few questions for those of you that have this amp or have owned it at one time.. i remember reading somewhere the 3000 was only stable down to 2 ohms, but im seeing it on ebay advertised as 1 ohm stable.. true or false? also the power and ground inputs on the amp... 0 gauge or 4 ga like the 1500? thinkin about picking this amp up .. maybe.. thanks.
