Friend just got a deal on one of these 2 questions: Is it an "old" Orion? Is it 1 ohm stable? Any ideas on the power?

i just bought a set of boston pro60s for the mini. not sure if im gonna run rear fill yet or not...my question is...should i keep the factory HU and run a 3sixty.1 or jl cleansweep or one of those, and keep the factory HU, but with aftermarket speakers, subs, amps? or should i get an aftermarket HU? i want it to look some what factory, so if i get a HU, its prally gonna be the alpine 9855 becuase its black and you can change the color to amber i believe, so itll match all my dash lights better. anyone use the clean sweep? its like 119ish on ebay i think... pro's, con's? i never use cd's in the mini anymore either...i have a factory AUX input on the stock HU, and i use my …

Aren't they about the same as far as power? I currently have an RE12.1, but I was kinda looking at the NINe.1 cause I can get a matching NINe.2. I know it's kinda silly, but I like my things to match. Is there a reason one would be better than the other?

Friend, I am from Nicaragua and have a couple of questions: I have a single Rockford amplifier T20001 (2500 - 2800 rms ) with 2 TRF 12 ... and i hit 145.6 db.....Now.... i wanna buy another T200001....my question is: It could increase the db with another T20001 or not. How many db can i increase if put each T20001 with each TRF 12" 1.5? 2? 2.5? 3? Thanks

First, a little about my setup. I want to run a 4 channel amp on my front stage, a two channel on rear fill, and 2 sub amps. This means I need 4 sets of preamp outs right? One set for front tweets, one set for front mids, one set for rear full range, and one set for sub amps. I want to be able to cross over the front mids and tweets at different points, in case I change components. I feel it sounds better if this is done at the HU so the amplifier can concentrate power only on desired frequencys. I will only use the preamps, so internal amp isn't necessary, infact I'd prefer NO internal amplifier. Only need CD capability, no MP3, no DVD. Some sort of time alignment. …

I have this amp and it says 600 watts @ 4 ohms.I know it has more power than this I just dont know how much. If anyone knows the specs on this amp it would be helpful. What ohms is it stable to? What should I fuse this amp at since it has no fuse on it? Does it have an unregulated power supply? Class ? It is an oldschool amp but I would like to run it, just need some info. It was made by ZED audio . I have searched the internet but found limited info. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I'm pretty set on buying a new clarion HU. It doesn't have the most flexible crossover built-in so I will need an electronic crossover to go with it. The main feature I need is having the ability to do a 3-way(high,mid,(possible future midbass), sub) setup with the mids lowpassed at 2+ khz frequency. My midbass amp(Eclipse XA2000) only goes up to 500hz so I need to find something. I'm willing to go up to $500 but hopefully I can save a few bucks. Right now, I'm lookin at the digital units but they are pricy. Any other cheaper solutions to this? I'm looking at audiocontrol but having a hard time finding online dealers(not many local and pricy) and Memphis but can't …

Anyone have experience with the massive audio P30001? http://massivemulti-media.com/store/index....p;products_id=4 The prices are very low right now on e-bay and it looks good. If it's as good as it looks does anyone know if it can handle say a 1.4 ohm load with good power supply or is it a rigid 2 ohms? I was thinking of running one of these to A btl 15". what do you guys think? Hope this makes sense I am undercaffenated.

My only request for this is that you have owned the unit. I dont think your favorite can truly be something you have never owned. You also must say why it was your favorite. Of the ones ive owned I must say that my favorite is the Eclipse CD8053. It was really easy to use for all of the things you could change and tweek. I think my only real complaint was the touch rotary knobs that caused me to go from volume 12 to 345524352 billion with what felt like one click of the wheel sometimes.

I currently have my Orion 2500d mounted on the top flat. I pan on putting the 18" on top facing up, and the amp on the side. Will it be ok as far as heating is concered?

Does a car battery need to be grounded to something in order for it to work properly? The reason I ask this is because a friend and myself are doing a school project (we have to design an entire business), and we thought it would be cool to make a movable car audio display. It would contain some OEM speakers from my Lumina, as well as my friend's Kicker L5 8", Audiobahn amp, a Kenwood head unit I've got laying around, and my car's battery that I'm soon to be replacing. Hey quick question guys/gals I have an optima yellow top i just recently bought.... 34/78 I know others have mentioned hooking there bat straight to the cars battery (parallel if you will) without any problems, YET on the optima website it states: 9. Can I hook an OPTIMA up in parallel with my other battery? No, when hooking batteries together in parallel they should be of identical make, model, and of similar age. So can anyone confirm that there is no harm in hooking my optima in parallel with my car stock battery? tried to search this but found no info

Which do you guys think would push a pair of fully loaded dual 2ohm BL 15s better between the 2amps here; the MM4000.1D(2000rms x 2 @1ohm or 4000rms x 1 @2ohm) or 2-SAZ-1500Ds(Id prefer to run them strapped @0.5ohm)? Electrical system would be able to sufficiently run either or.
