Which one of these caps is the better buy or the better name-brand? Is it the LQ30CAP Lanzar 3.0-Farad cap or is it the ALMANI ALF2F 2-Farad Digital Power CAPACITOR. They are both around the same price?

im gonna mix the Rainbow SLC mids with the CS tweets. now my questions is, which crossover do i use? the soundline or the countour?

So If I have the ZED Leviathan amp and the AudioControl DQL-8, and they both have crossovers. 1. Which would you use, the crossover in the ZED amp or the crossover in the AC DQL-8's? 2. Why? BTW the Leviathan and EQL-8 are going into two(2) sets of Bravox Audio CS60K components and one(1) SSA DCON 12D4. Please don't recommend anything other than the two crossovers available in the two units mentioned. TIA!

i have two decks laying here that i can pick from.. i have a Alpine cda 7875, or i have a kenwood kvt-617dvd. if you had to pick which one to use what would you pick an why?

...and what do you like or dislike about it? I am in the market for a DMM. I read here about true rms DMMs after someone mentioned to be aware of this feature. Is this necessary for setting up gains when a constant frequency is used to get a voltage measurement? Also, how accurate or unnecessary would a clamp meter prove to be? At the moment, I feel I am shopping for a clamp meter with true rms feature. I appreciate your thoughts.

I recently purchased a new tow vehicle and I'd like to put some variation of sound in it. It has a double din dash so I figure I'd go with a double din head unit. I'm really not sure exactly what options I want besides 3 sets 4v preouts, USB and most likely blue tooth, I'd like to spend under $300 if possible but I'm not completely against spending more. Pretty vague I know, just looking for people's experience and what not.

I'm trying to determine what my next step should be. My 2002 4Runner has a Sundown Audio SAX-100.4 on the front components, and had a Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D on the subwoofer. However, it appears my wiring is insufficient as I burnt the 1500D a while back (running sub-less for months now). I'm not sure what steps I should take to avoid this in the future. I have the stock battery and alternator, with 4-gauge to blocks and 8-gauge to each amp. In hindsight, this is terribly inadequate, but we only learn from our mistakes. What steps should I take next? im getting audioque 15inch alum coiled and my amp is Hifonics BXI2008D 2000-Watt Super D-Class Brutus Amp 1-Channel Mono-Block with 5.0 frad cap so i wonder what gauge wire size i should get for it?.. silver or copper? or what?

Zapco 750.2 or a Kicker 04KX550.2 to run 2 Soundstream T4 12 or 2 Infinity Kappa Prefect 12DVQ which one whould be the best choice to run these subs ?It will be a ported box.

Hi, I will be doing 2 15" Icon build on a crescendo BC2000D etc in a Dakota crew cab and have two nice decks in my possession. a Kenwood KDC-bt945u and a Clarion VZ401 DVD deck. Ive done a lot of researching on pre-out voltage but have seen so many opinions to as if it really does make a huge difference or not. Basically the Kenwood has 4v preouts and the Clarion has 2v. I like both decks but would love to have the dvd screen but not at a major loss of output or sound quality. My question is, will I notice a difference or should I go with the Clarion? Thanks,

Well everytime I narrow my choices down I find about a new head unit. Right now I'm deciding between the Eclipse 5435 and the Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP/DEH-P8MP and Clarion DXZ755MC/DXZ855MP. In terms of SQ, features, eqs, etc, what is my best option? I would like the lighting on the unit to be all blue as well...that matters to me. Color screens of course are an exception.

Which one should I get? Alpine IVA-W505 Pioneer Avic-D3 Clarion Max 685BT It has to have Ipod hookup, XM, Steering controls, Sub volume Control, and a remote. Question I already have XM will it just hook into any of these. Price is not that big of a factor so Don't pick the cheapest because it is the cheapest. O and I have an 04 Escalade.

Looking to upgrade my head unit and I'm between Kenwood ddx376bt or Pioneer avh-501ex

Trying to get my brother a decent HU with at least 4 volt preouts, ipod combatibility that works and with connector included preferably, and a decent user interface. Needs to be under $160 after shipping. I've looked at just about everything and I'm stuck between these two. A Pioneer Premier DEH-410UB or Clarion CZ500. The only bad thing about the pioneer is it has terrible control reviews (thumbstick very sensitive etc.) which is why I even looked at the clarion. Hey guys, just trying to decide between 2 headunits. Both have the features I want. iPod connection, Hi-Volt Pre-outs, 3.5mm input, USB, nice display, basic EQ controls. Ease of use is a priority for me as well. Both of them are right in the budget I was thinking. I dont really care about HD/Sat Radio, or Bluetooth. Kenwood X794 Pioneer P7200HD I know some Pioneer's have the weird ground noise that pops up sometimes, so that scares me a little. But I love the fact that the USB and 3.5mm jack is on the front. That is a big thing for me. I would just like your opinions on which one would be the better HU, if either is better. Thanks guys.

hi guys, i know alot has been ask about this 2 HU's, more often discussed on, "it looks fugly", "it has better tuning capabilities", "it has this pico fuse prob" and many more... frankly now i know i cant get the best HU i want due to cost so i have to get the best i can do with my current budget... hey guys. i need some input on what kinetic battery to use in the trunk. i have a stock alternator and my setup will be pushing around 2500watts. i plan on using a yellowtop up front. so my question is how many watts should my kinetic in the trunk be? the power cell calculator on the site says i should use (2) 1400watt power cells. which will be costly to me. any cheaper solutions? do i really need that much? input please and thank you.
