What's up everyone! I am starting to learn more and more about systems and tuning them correctly. I have a mtx 421d am with a 8inch American bass sub, I need some help on how to tune the amp and what songs you guys recommend. It hits hard with low bass music but with bands or other k8nda bass it doesn't hit right or it won t hit.

any of you guys have any experiance,opinions on this amp. http://www.woofersetc.com/p7750/DTR11700D-...s-Amplifier.htm ive been a fan of Soundstream amps(ive had the PIC 1.1700d and loved it)and really like the way these look.plus i found it on ebay for less than 300 shipped. i plan on running it on a single Fi SSD 18. so feel free to post up you opinions/thoughts.

So i tried to play a youtube video and then one i recorded on the iphone. Neither worked. What could be wrong? I have the proper cable from pioneer. Its an Iphone 4 on iOS 5.0

the resistor sit between the coil and the 12 capacitors thats in the location number r501 on the board if someone has a hc100 please look at it and tell me it should be easy to see being its a plexiglass bottom damn us amp wont tell me they wanted me to send it in but yeah whatever there goes a bad reference for a authorized us amp dealer so i guess we arent gonna do business with them after all please let me know anyone with a hc 100 made in 1999 and maybe other years too

looking to run 2 XXX 6500's on to T3 audio tsns 15's in a flat wall in my car for super street 1-2 class i have heard that the 6500 is a beast but also sucks current any body got any suggestions? will be powered by kinetik 16v's (12 to 18 batteries)

I got this HU recently from soneone. The Radio creates music through my RCA's but when I try and play a cd it read the cd and says its playign the cd but viola no signal......And if there is signal its not audable........can someone help here??? J

any on here have any experiance with a phase linear uv8? i have someone local that wants to sell one for 150 and i figure that is a pretty good deal unless they are junk any one had one or heard anything with one

ok so i am currently running an eclipse cd1000 head unit. it says in the owners manual and on the face that it plays mp3 cds. i'm using roxio 2011 to burn with. ok so i burnt a couple mp3 cd's and the head unit tries to read it but ends up ejecting it, and then after getting next to nothing searching google i read sumthin saying burn it as a data disk so i did that and it still does the same thing. i've never had any experience with an eclipse deck until this one, so if anyone can help me with this that would be great. so please help me out

Hey guys im not sure how many hyundai santa fe's are out there but im looking at getting wire. Is there a easy place in the fire wall the i can run my wire through? Im going to be doing 4 full runs(2 power & 2 ground front batt to back bank). thanks

I am wondering how to go about wiring 2 older fin style rf bd 1000.1 amps to a single 18" old 3 stack Fi btl. The sub needs a recone so I could get dual 2 or 1 ohm coils.both the amps have the spot for the sync cord.the real question I have is one amp to each coil @ 2 ohm? or get the dual 1 ohm coils and run both amps in parallel to both coils in parallel? I never used the bd sync cord, don't know if I should trust it? I don't want one workin harder than the other.as u guys know I'm looking for a 2 ohm load on these amps. Thanks a ton for any input!!!

ok i got a few questions: 1, i need help choosing a sub amp here is what i am thinking: us amps XT-4000D used us amps md1d Used ED 9.1 used/refurb kicker sx1250 Hifonics TXi1508D i am trying to not spend more then 300 on the amp and i need 1200rms at 1 ohm. Another question is this: on my car it is a single wire running for the alternator and the way it is suppose to be wired that it came with a 6" long run of 10 guage wire attached to the alternator to a point where then i have 1/0 guage running to the battery. could that 10 guage wire pose a voltage problem for 200 amps. Found this PioneerGM-X524 amp with two 12"jbl subs (look like pieces of crap) on craigslist for only $100. i don't really care about the subs, but i was wondering if anyone has ever used this amp and what they have experienced with it? How does it handle heat dissipation after long periods of playing? Is it low quality? Just wondering what people have experienced with it. thanks!

It's time to start doin some more research so time to get as detailed as possible with how to do this. I am planning on installing air ride in my car soon so i can upgrade my small 12v battery bank to all 16v batts and swappin my mechman alt with an external regulated system charging at 19v. This will be for me and everyone else interested in doing this- 12v batts float around 13.0v. They typically get charged with a 14v alternator at 14.4-14.9v. 16v batts float around 17.3-17.9v. Hey, we are trying to pull a run of 4 gauge wire through the firewall of a 4th gen Camaro. Are there any known hole in the firewall that this wire could fit through or any good places to make one before we go drilling around.

just wondering how reliable pioneer HU's are at puting our rated power :ph34r: Ive got it installed in my 92 grand am. it runs for as much as $193 on yahoo shopping, but i bought it off some guy on FXN for 115 shipped. edit: i just read that its rated at 22 watts rmsX4. only the two rear speakers work and its pretty loud. wonder how loud it'd get with new speakers and an amp B) edit found 1 on ebay thats factory remanufactured for $129 starting bid and its not too bad of a head unit for a poor man like me
