Has any one here ever used one?? I was taking a look at it today. One thing i would like about it is i could put it in my trunk and only have the Ai-net cable running to the rear from my deck, and shorten up the rca's going to my amps, also it pushes the pre outs to 4v. It has an adjustable 5-band parametric or 7-band graphic equalizer. What is the difference between the two types of equalization? going for a simple sq based system with components up front and a single diyma 12" in the rear. Looking at a pair of MC300's (150x2 or 500ish bridged) or a pair of Xterminator Xt1600.2's (125x2 or 600ish bridged). the UsAmps are cheaper but they are the lowend line while the M class is the top of line that they offer. What do you guys think?

I need an amp to power 2 xcon 18's, or zcon 18's (sub choice as of now, may change but that power range) Need a good solid amp with clean power, price insnt a complete issue but pref about 1k new. dont mind strpping two smaller amps, and im a fan of dual power/ground inputs. suggestions? car is 99 jeep grand cherokee subs are as stated most likely 2 xcon 18's or zcon 18s ""SQL"" kinda of set up plays music, very loud. will have big 3 and singer 250a alt, and xs 6500 under hood, maybe some d3100 in the back.

Anyone own any of these? Can I get 4 bandpassed outputs with it? I need 3 -way active... 2 outs for tweets HP, 2 outs for 4" BP, and 2 outs for 6.5" BP.... most crossovers only have 2 HP, 2BP, 2LP.... but I need FOUR bandpassed. Anyone selling any? Planning a build in a 2012 hyundai sonata with the infinity premium system while retaining the stock unit Here's what we have so far Hybrid audio clarus jl hd 600/4 + 750/1 2 jbl gto 12's(IB) No processing as of yet since the head unit schematic is very tricky. Now, from the information I've gathered The stock head unit has a digital out(spdif) that goes to the factory amp. Usually, you'd go straight from head unit to processor, but, if you bypass the factory jbl amp, you lose bluetooth, xm, & am/fm radio. I'm about 90% sure the speakers crossed inside the amp, so I'm lost on what to do here. Tapping after the amp seems like the only option, but I can't seem to f…

I want to run an active front stage. I am using an AC DQX and an Audison VRx 4.300. Here is a clip out of the manual: Is this the correct way to wire the set up? I just want another opinion before I run my tweeet off the bandpass output of the DQX, or something along those lines. (sorry for the crap diagram, but the middle section is the RCA inputs, and the speaker terminals are on the outsides). Thanks.

I have 2 alpine type r 12 DVC 4ohm subs In ported black box tornado series. My Kenwood head unit has a 2.5 volt Preout. I have had my gain on my alpine mrx m240 half way up with no bass boost and crossover set at 85 on the amp wired at 4 ohm putting out 1500 watt into 2 alpine type r. I got the smd distortion detector a few days ago to see if I was clipping . I live in the middle of no where and the local audio shop has no clue what they are doing so I installed everything and set gains myself. I used the smd dd1 and it at my max volume on the headunit which is 35 it shows my amp starts clipping at slightly above 1/4 on the gain . I rarely get my volume past 26 on the hea…

well long story short, i may be getting back the massive 3k today. i did trade my close friend and he isnt liking the way it sounds so i told him i would trade him back if he really wanted. so that being said, i have had a few offers on the massive. either sell for $315 shipped to a guy on c.a.c.o, or i was offered a LNIB crescendo bs2000. so my question is, should i sell the amp outright and pick up this other aq2200 for $275-300, or trade it for this almost brand new Bc2000? which ever amp i go with now, i will be adding a second one and linking them together to the zcons which are d2's so they will run at a 2ohm load. iv been sitting here at the computer now for 2 ho…

Hey guys, just to give you a low down on what i have. I have the 2 18 inch SSA prototypes 4,000 RMS being pushed with 1 (for now, soon to have two) AQX3500.1 in a 1997 honda accord SE, and a DC 270 XP alternator. Now, i live in Arizona which i know a lot of other people do who are on SSA forum. My amp is located in the trunk along with the battery. My box sits in the backseat. I am having HUGE cooling problems with the amp because no AC can get to the trunk and the trunk is forced to deal with full exposure unlike most SUV's. The fan helps but i still can't quite seem to get it out of protect and if it does, it takes 5 minutes with the trunk open and the fan running. Not …

I have an old school Memphis amp putting 1500 at two ohms into two SA12s. Bass boost on the amp is 40hz, I have the bass boost up a quarter. Amp gain is at half right now but, BUT. I have a feeling it's not all the way up. I usually set my gains by playing Put On by Jeezy since it has a few different levels of bass and I can set it so it doesnt clip on any of those. I don't feel like im doing this right, so I need pointed in the right direction. I get a 40hz tone and put the bass boost to what? I just need help...

Looking to get a new 5 Channel Amp, right now I'm Looking at the Alpine V9, JL 900/5 and the Arc Audio XDi850.5. Is there anything else on the market I should be looking at? I'd like to stay with in the 700 - 900 watt range.

I have my btl, and I am borrowing my friends sub amp to listen to the sub because I can't afford an amp just yet. I am dying to hear it. It is wired at 1 ohm, but really .7 ohm (DMM). It says the amp is 1 ohm capable, but It goes into protect when I turn the amp on. What could be the problem, maybe its not 1 ohm capable? or the .7 ohm is too low?

Some of you may remember the build I did for my sister in her 2002 Durango and the resulting review I wrote for her 12" DCON afterward, may not. It currently consists of a Kenwood KDC-X493 HU, Phoenix Gold RSD 6.5 components in the front, JBL GTO 6.5" coax's in the rear doors, the DCON all powered by a Hifonics ZXi8010 five channel amp. Now, I mentioned in the review that it was easy to reach the limitations of the amp and hear it through either the highs or the sub. We did a little playing around recently and connected that DCON to my Sundown in the van and there was a night and day difference. i contacted maxxsonics and i was told the 2610 puts out 1700 watt rms at 1 ohm at 12 volt. does the 2610 put out rated power? (i want to power 2 15 l7 rated 750 watt rms each)

I was hoping someone could help me out trying to figure out where to get this part other then woofersetc . (NAKAMICHI RCA 3PIN CONNECTOR) They charge $50 for a $2.00 plug in . Is this something that nakamichi head units use only? I have never seen the rca from the back of a car head unit like this . I was wondering if anyone here has used trojan batteries before cause the local distributor around me quoted me an awsome price on a 2400cca agm battery and I am wanting to know if they last long and are any good.

Anyone have any personal expierence with the soundstream pca2000d. they are rated 2000 watts rms. Anyone know if its underrated or overrated? i have found a shuriken on sonics. its like 70 bucks but i dont know if it is the right size for my amp, i have a 1200watt brutus. i will be adding hids and a smaller amp for highs. do you think this will work for a second batt in the back?......may be my post is not clear i have bad dimming problems from my sub. i was going to invest into a batt to help this problem and also do the big 3. i donot want to wham on my sub due to the fact i hear if it is not powered correctly it will damage my amp and sub. i know i do not have anything crazy so i thought a small batt would suffice the systems power needs. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?app=forums&modu…
