I'm looking to purchase 18 batteries for a build. Kinetik offered me an awesome deal that's hard to pass up. My problem is that I have heard bad things about these batteries. Do you guys think if I properly maintain them I would get better results from them vs the guys that had issues?

ok everyone, i have a 02 nissan with a fi bl 18 running on a zeus 3000 watt i have the amp turned down barely over half right now i want to upgrade my eletrical so i can turn my amp up i have about 300 dollars right now what is the first thing i need to get?

Ive got 2 FI BL 12's fully loaded, a 275 amp alt, and 2 yellow tops. My question is.......would it be better (louder) to run 2 amplifiers linked to the subs? OR would it work better to have an amp per sub? And if i did amp per sub....how would i tune them together without buying anything. Im asking this because ive been looking at this Hifonics BRZ2400 and it looks like a wiener

I just installed a second yellow optima I have my two amps wired and installed I have two extra sets of ground,power, and remote electrical taped at the end I want to be ready to just plug and play when my two new amps come in the mail I'm seeing 12.6 at stop signs and hit, but do not stay, at 14.4 when getting on the freeway the volt meter is wired to the new battery postitive I'm wondering if maybe I need to charge this new battery some more before i expect 14.4? It was made 05/12 everything is fused with knu including the alternator with high current 300amp fuses big 3 done in 1/0 the alternator is a powerbastards 220 amp, it does 109 @1500 (tested) any ideas? -thanks

I have a JVC KW-NX7000. I have had it for years and love it. I recently got a Sony Xperia Ion cell phone. My goal is to get things like Netflix on my HU screen for passengers to watch netflix or browse youtube videos on my lunchbreak, etc. The phone has a mini-hdmi output. The HU has an open RCA( audio/video) auxiliary input. So far I can't find a cable that converts it. What is a good solution?

I have two sundown Sa-12s on a saz-1500d v.3 and a stock alt and battery. I'm probably in my car for an hour a day and i don't always have it turned up. Someone told me i can wire it at 1 ohm but to set the gain down. I have the big three so would this even be safe and if so what would i set the gain too?

Planning a build in a 2012 hyundai sonata with the infinity premium system while retaining the stock unit Here's what we have so far Hybrid audio clarus jl hd 600/4 + 750/1 2 jbl gto 12's(IB) No processing as of yet since the head unit schematic is very tricky. Now, from the information I've gathered The stock head unit has a digital out(spdif) that goes to the factory amp. Usually, you'd go straight from head unit to processor, but, if you bypass the factory jbl amp, you lose bluetooth, xm, & am/fm radio. what mini MONO amp would u recommend in the 60-100Wrms range on 4ohm (that could be pluged into 12V car socket) ... you can point out a DIY amp also

Gents, Just curious if I can run my Xcon D2s at 0.5 ohms and be good, or should I just run them at 2 ohms? Electrical consists of 3 XS Power D3400s ( 1 as a front batt, 2 in the rear). I ran all zero for the Big 3, and currently have a HO alt of 250a from Excessive Amperage in the works. Just wondering how I should wire the subs on these amps. Any input is appreciated. So today i turned on my car while leaving class and decided to bump on the way home. Well i couldn't because my sub wasn't working. It was working before class. I got home and hooked up my other working sub which i decided to upgrade from (VIBE slick) and that did not work either. I know for a fact that the vibe isn't blown and my amp tells me when a sub is blown, wired wrong etc. The amp said everything was fine. So i hooked up my old amp (a kenwood) and that amp didn't work either with both subs. I can't stress enough that the VIBE is a good working subwoofer. I checked all of my fuses under the hood and none of them are blown. Neither are the fuses on both of the amps.…

I have an 05 Outback. Looking at a bunch of options. Best option seems to be Excessive Amperage who can do a 200A for 385. Anything over 200 supposedly will slip due to horrible belt wrap, and I only have a 5 rib belt. Mechman, Singer, Ohio Gen, and DC power are more cash for less ALT than the EA. Which worry's me as far as how "drop in" it really is.

I had a sundown saz 2500d shipped to be and I'm positive it was dropped during shipping and the speaker wire input busted off. I was wondering how i could go about getting that fixed and what the cost would be. or if I can just order a new one. The metal that connects internally is busted off. I'm not positive if its covered under warranty or not. I emailed sundown and haven't heard anything back from the yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would mounting my amp on the same side I mount my woofers cause any problems? I mean that would be the strongest part of the box considering its a double baffle? There's enough space to fit it there so I don't see how it would be a problem but figured I'd post to get input, any possible side affects?

I recently sold my amp, m3a, looking for a new amp under $1000 and wanting brand new. The amps I am considering are a M3b and SAZ3500D V.2 but not sure why I would pick one over the other. From comparing the older models it seems the saz3500d v.1 produced more watts than the M3A so is the M3b comparable to the SAZ3500v.2? This amp will be powering a BTL N2 and will be wired down for .5 ohm on a 12volt system. Need some advise

I am in need of the wiring diagram for the inputs of the JBL amps for a 2012 Toyota FJ. I know the voltage should be well below 6volts and want to convert them to a rca plug to install and after market system while still using all the factory headunti features. So I've had my BC2000D for about two weeks. I've only had it running on 4 ohms for 3-4 days and then 2 ohms for the other two weeks or so ive had it. It's been playing mint and today i was just driving around, had my music playing at about 10/62 for half an hour and then i decided to turn it up a little bit. I had it around 20/62 and then my subs just cut out. I went to look at the amp cause its in the back seat and they go back on, they went back off again and then just stopped coming on at all. So i purchased a stetsom 7KD and I am curious what the external fuse rating is. i looked up the manual online but it only has info for the two ohm version. The one i purchased is the one ohm 12 volt version. Also when i install this amp I will add another battery or two to what i have.I have noticed that a lot of setups have unfused connections on their terminals. As of now i have two batteries with two fuses 12 inches from each terminal. so if i install a third would i need another two fuses or would that only be necessary if they were a certain distance apart? And of course when i do the install i will do another positive run and dual input terminals. Thanks

So I hooked back up my amplifier today and when I turned the headunit on and played some music I realized that no bass was coming from my subwoofer and my amp was in protect mode. I also noticed that my lights would flicker and dim and why voltage dropped to like 12 volts. Any suggestions to what the problem may be?

I just bought a sundown saz 2500d...I was wondering which battery should i buy. i'm looking at a yellow top or a XS Power D2400. I don't have money to buy 2 at this time but i do plan on buying another one of which ever i buy to put in the back. Thanks guys
