The DSP aint working correctly on low input only on BT mode. On low mode only ch1/2 work rest aren’t playing, BT mode all play perfectly. I sent back to AD & was told there is nothing wrong that all outputs on low mode are working . other issue i get a clock ticking sound from ch 1 & BT keep cutting off every few seconds or minutes.

I know what amp this is. IF you guys don't know i'll let you know later but i have NEVER seen an amp look so .... well confusingly different. I dont know if i should be scared, shocked, surprised or disappointed.

hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows (or heard) of soundstream making good amps. im debating buying either a soundstream pca2000d or a kicker zx1500 amp. they both push 1500rms when wired at 2 ohms. naturally i would just go for the kicker because no one seems to have anything bad to say about them and are under rated, i just dont like the fact that the kicker can't wire down to one ohm if i decide i want more power. please lemme know if you heard anything bad or good about soundstream...thx-phil

Without having to delve too deep into the world of signal reproduction and the discrepancies in what the human ear perceives, can someone please simply explain distortion, how it relates to us simple "daily system" people, and the relevance/relativity in terms of overall distortion of "-40 dB from the fundamental." I read this article, and I understand the basic concepts presented, but I was wondering if anyone could put it in more of Laymen's terms. Thanks!

I'm in the market for new alternators and I was talking to a guy about the Mechman 370a units. he was telling me they would never put out advertised amperage and they wouldn't even turn on at idle speed. I think its bs, but do any of you have experience with these alts?

I need to update my double din head unit and looking for some recommendations from experienced people. I have used Alpine iLX-207 which offered me 7 inches touch screen which was easy for me to access all features. The most great thing for me about this head unit is that I can easily manage the system via the screen or from the steering wheel to use Apple Car Play or Android Auto. But recently it stopped working and just showing the dark screen (as its very long I have not upgraded it). Now I am thinking of upgrading it rather than repairing. I just hooked up my equalizer and i taped into the head unit ground and power wire to power the eq and when i start my car i hear the engine noise ? how do i stop this?

Hi guys, my current amp is starting to give me some issues (well I think it is). It is an option audio OA1200 powering a Fi Q12 at 1ohm, and I have had it for about 5 years now but I don't think it's dealing too well with a 1ohm load (it has been running at 2ohms till now when I got the Q). When I initially hooked everything up I set the gains using my oscilloscope, the HU did not clip even at full volume, and the amp started clipping at ~1/3 turn using both a 60hz and 30hz sine wave. ive got a Diablo Audio Hellfire 8000.1 it has a blown power supply. where can i get it repaired? Db-r does not do them, already checked. i know of amp medics, any others? and what happened to them? their website is gone, and i cant find them anywhere.

I have an old school Memphis amp putting 1500 at two ohms into two SA12s. Bass boost on the amp is 40hz, I have the bass boost up a quarter. Amp gain is at half right now but, BUT. I have a feeling it's not all the way up. I usually set my gains by playing Put On by Jeezy since it has a few different levels of bass and I can set it so it doesnt clip on any of those. I don't feel like im doing this right, so I need pointed in the right direction. I get a 40hz tone and put the bass boost to what? I just need help...

Planning a build in a 2012 hyundai sonata with the infinity premium system while retaining the stock unit Here's what we have so far Hybrid audio clarus jl hd 600/4 + 750/1 2 jbl gto 12's(IB) No processing as of yet since the head unit schematic is very tricky. Now, from the information I've gathered The stock head unit has a digital out(spdif) that goes to the factory amp. Usually, you'd go straight from head unit to processor, but, if you bypass the factory jbl amp, you lose bluetooth, xm, & am/fm radio. i just ordered a stinger digital volt meter and my question is ... where would be the best place to wire it to? the starter batt, the amp, the radio? im just not sure. any help would be appreciated

I need a 5/6 channel amp for one of my cars. I need about 75-150 or so watts per channel on channels 1-4, and a 5th (or 5th and 6th bridged) channel to run a sub with 500-1000 watts. I was looking at the following: US Amps AX-5600 US Amps USA-5600x (getting hard to find) Hifonics Zeus ZXi60.4 + 1k Memphis Belle 16-MCH1300 The only problem with the latter two is that they are most likely made in China... which is a huge turn off for me given my recent experience with chinese made amps. I was hoping someone could help me out trying to figure out where to get this part other then woofersetc . (NAKAMICHI RCA 3PIN CONNECTOR) They charge $50 for a $2.00 plug in . Is this something that nakamichi head units use only? I have never seen the rca from the back of a car head unit like this . So I've had the big 3 in my car for about a month and a half now everything was fine until this morning I opened my hood and one fitting was melted. It has 1 0gauge going to the battery and 2 4gauge going to starter and the other going to my fuse box. My car turns off as soon as I turn my AC on my car turns off. Also the 4 gauge going to the fuses had the insulation gone completely melted

Yesterday we put the stereo in my cousin's Silverado. We had a remote wire problem and need to pull the HU out today. We noticed last night that his dome lights won't turn off now, even after pulling the key and shutting the doors for a while. It's never done this before until now, is there any chance fixing the remote wire will solve this problem?? Thanks

I have two JL audio 1000/1 V@ that I want to put on my FI BTL 18" dual 2 but I want to be safe cause I use it for daily.... does anyone know about these amps to know how I should tune and how I should strap or run each amp to each coil. Right now I have a hifonics brz 2100 and I have the speaker ran at 1 ohm. OK... So here is my dilemma. Ive got 2 - 15inch SX series RE audio subs in my room at the moment. Im in need of an amp capable of producing ATLEAST 2000 rms (true power not rated) and made the sad mistake of purchasing the power acrapstik 5500D rated at a rediculous 3200RMS but im not even able to pull 1KW off it by the sounds of it. I guess ile eat the cost of the current amp but what do you guys think of the MA audio 4000D's? Im wondering if the signal voltage will be sufficiently boosted by the http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27392_PAC-LD-10.html. Will this line driver take the place of a healthy 4.5 pre-out voltage that would be otherwise coming from a deck? I have heard the headphone jack of an ipod has 60 miliamps of current at full volume and im trying to boost that up to what would come out of a deck, effectively eliminating the deck. And if It can supply that voltage, can I max it out to ten volts and then run two Y splitters off of the output side of the line driver? giving me two sets of RCA's at 5 volts off of one ipod headphone jack? thanks all

I have two dual 1 ohm 18 BTLs fully loaded in a single chamber box...12 cubic feet after subs and port...with two kicker 2500.1...my gain was all the way down...my bass boost on the amps was half way up with the bass on my head unit at zero...when ever I turn my remote bass up the amps starts clipping...I had two MTX 8500 12s that hit louder on the local meter...I have a 275 amp alternator with another one on the way with two red top optimas all zero gauge wires power and ground wires...can someone help me out...I know these amps are better then this...

Anyone have experience or opinions on Memphis amps? I'm considering a 5 channel to run some comps and a sub. What are Memphis comparable to? Thanks

Pioneer GM-D8604 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_63974_Pioneer-GM-D8604.html its $140. class d RMS Power @ 4 ohms 100 watts x 4 channels its around $100 cheaper than the next comparable amplifier that has RMS listed and is a decent name brand? Im aware that its class D so, thats part of why its cheaper. But other than that, im worried its bad for some reason because of how cheap it is?

Whats your guys opinions on it?..Do they really do rated?..I heard that someone was burpin them at .35 for comps and .7 for daily..Also do you guys think its a good bang for the buck $569 shipped new?
