You guys pick. Memphis amp or Viper amp. Viper claims to put out more power, the memphis is rated at 1100 but birth sheets that I have seen prove that it can put out 1200-1300 watts. I kinda thought it would look cool to have matching memphis amps. Just want to get more thoughts. what would you guys pay for a good working Kicker KX 800.2 thanx

i have a nightshade v1 15 and a rd1750.1 amp right now i have my nightshade wired at two ohms but i got the rd because i was told it was .5 stable i have 0 guage throughout big three and 200 amp ho alt will that be good enough electric to safely run this amp at .5

The Master amp gets the input from the head-unit and a mono RCA from "BR Out" connected. hey everyone. i came accross this amp in my friends basement and he let me keep it. its an Alphasonik MA-2055. doesnt have the regular speaker terminals. has all the different colored wires. has power and ground leads coming out of the amp. on amp it says: minimum continuous average power: -55w per channel (2chan). both drive into 4 ohms...? -110w mono mode into 4 or 8 ohms. -freq resp 20-20khz -THD <0.05% does anyone have ANY info on it? couldnt find anything on google... thanks! I have a Denon DCT-A100 HU and I have been looking for some good external signal processors since the Denon has absolutely nothing as far as processing goes. I'm basically looking for at least a 30 band EQ that has all your basic features, time alignment, etc. What are my options? US amps BASS MEKANIK VLS-1 ,... has anybody ever used one or know if this is worth getting?

NooB's, DO NOT COMPREHEND THIS POST. Under 1 ohm coverage is void from Z series Sundown amps so no warranty is implied in this post! Ok, my question I understand that the warranty is void by doing this but throwing that out the window, i know it's still possible so what i want to know is, when is the amp not safe? Let's say i got 2 SAZ-1500ds strapped and ran a load at 0.93 ohms. Warranted coverage is no lower than 2 ohms strapped. I've talked to a manufacturer before and he said about all his amp returns are due to people not knowing what they are doing when they run too low of a load. I am getting ready to purchase a US Amps IS-2150 amp... which from what ive heard... on average... pushes 715-720 watts bridged peak and 600 rms @ 4ohms... and am wanting to push 3 Eclipse 6103 10's... I currently have 2 of them... which are both 4ohm SVC... the 3rd may be single or dual vc... depending on how i need to do this... or i can have the two SVC's replaced and get all 3 DVC... my problem is getting the proper ohm load... im not sure how i can do it... if i run them in parrallel... im looking at 1 or 1.3ohms... which im not sure if the amp i want is stable at th…

i did a test to see which amp was harder hitting i ran the Crossfire Vr 1000d @ 2ohm through my PaP 15" MOAB = 500watts i ran the PPi Dcx 1000d @ 2ohm through my PaP 15" MOAB = 500watts i set the gain on both amps @ 1/2 or center or Noon... all settings on HU were left as Daily, subs crossed to 100Hz & down / 0gain or flat the Crossfire was weak to say the least... had to crank the HU to 25 to get any thing to shake the PPi on the other hand was Dominant as i only got to 8 on the HU and noticed the stuff on my walls in my guradge was shaking @ 12 on the HU the bass was well above pounding... the Crossfire Vr 1000d got guess ill put it in my Girlfriends truck on a …

I just got my aq2200d 3days ago. As im tuning it today, it was hitting pretty hard. How come it just shut off. I turned my car off and back on, and there was just a red light saying its in protect mode, and now the amp wont even turn on at all!

I have a 99 Siverado LT 5.3. I upgraded big 3, 220 amp alternator, 2 extra kinetik 1800's, running 0 ga wire. I only have a rockford T10001bd,pushing 2 T110's, and a rockford T600-4 running MB quarts 5.25 in kick panel and 6.5 mid bass in doors. Lights still dim when bass hits going down the road. I don't know what else to upgrade to get it to stop. All grounds seem to be good. I was looking to upgrade, that's the reason for 2 kinetiks, but if lights dim with what I have it will go black if I upgrade. Any help on what could be going on. Thanks

I need to run a mtx 7514-04. what would be the cheapest thing possible? Well i dont even need to give it full power. all i need to do is make it bump good. but i don't know what kind of watttage it would need to make it sound good (givin that is an vague word anyways). just the cheapest way to run it i guess, thank you.

Hey everybody! I've narrowed down which subs I want thanks to the help from members of the board, so thank you to those people! I will be running 2 15" AA Mayhems. Now for the amp(s), I would like to run 1 amp as opposed to 2. I was refered by one of my friends to check out the Cadence ZRS-C6...any input on this amp? A friend of mine owns a shop and they those amps run for around $1599 (Canadian). He also told me about the Earthquake PH10000D which retails for $1299 (Canadian). Any input on this amp? Also, if there are any other amps I should keep in mind around the 5000-6000wrms @ 1 ohm range, please inlighten me! Thanks, Andrew

Is it possible to hook up an alpine h701 to an eclipse 8053 say, through the aux input? Or anyway for that matter. I love my 8053 and really don't want to part with it if it's possible. At the same time though, I want an EQ at my finger tips via the h701 and c701. If I could hook that combo up to my 8053 and it work it'd be all good. thoughts?

So something has gone wrong with my system and I am not sure exactly what it is... My setup is... -12" Icon -AQ 1200d; installed with 1/0 gauge wire and then 12 gauge for the speaker wire. -MY car is a 2000 Jetta VR6 and the alternator is stock.. it's either 90a or 120a but i'm not sure -I am using the AQ gain knob and I have a stinger volt meter.. if we bridge a stereo amp does the impedance of the amp change? does the amp being bridged change the final impedance to the subs? as an example would 2 4ohm SVC subs wired in parallel be seen as a 1ohm load by a bridged amp?

So I just bought an Acura RSX-S, im wondering if I should use the bose system or buy a component set. To being, I have a some nice equipment in my room that I have NOT gotten to use yet.. sax 100.4 saz2500.1D DD 9515g DD 9512g I plan on getting some sort of double din TV with 4-5 volt rca outputs, decent crossover, and decent eq. I think I'll end up using the 2500 and the 9512g in the hatch.. but as far as my mids/highs.. Im not so sure what to do. The bose system sounds good, but I think it distorts past half on the volume knob. Maybe I will be able to tune it better with the aftermarket tv? I have a rockford fosgate t1500-1bdcp amp and a ascendant havoc sub wired to 1 ohm. My amp will get very hot even when the music is very quiet. Also when i turn up the volume loud my sub will make a popping sound. The gain is turned all the way down, and i also have a stock alternator. Any help will be appreciated.

I was just wondering if 4 of these batteries will be good for a car audio system. 2,000 watts RMS? This is the only best battery that I can fine in my own town.
