im stuck... help me. both 1 ohm daily .25 burps. on 300 mechman and 3 dekas

I have a rockford fosgate t1500-1bdcp amp and a ascendant havoc sub wired to 1 ohm. My amp will get very hot even when the music is very quiet. Also when i turn up the volume loud my sub will make a popping sound. The gain is turned all the way down, and i also have a stock alternator. Any help will be appreciated.

I have been thinking about making some quality Big 3 kits, and just want to kind of take the forum's temperature about the idea. Ordering will be easy, simply give me the three lengths you need from mounting hole to mounting hole(for me, this will = terminal hole to terminal hole). Here's a rundown of the parts/process. 1) Wire being used will be the new black Audio Technix 1/0 CCA wire. 2) Terminals will be tinned copper to resist corrosion. 3) All wire/terminal connections will be crimped via a hydraulic crimper for a connection that will never wiggle loose or back out. 4) All connections will be finished with some black heat shrink tubing for a clean look. I'm in the process of adding a pair of 12" GCONS to the stock Fender stereo system in my 2012 Volkswagen GLI. The subs will be in a sealed enclosure from DC Creations are going to be powered by a Kicker ZX1000.1 (1298w rms according to birth sheet) controlled through the LC2i. I have 2 questions about some adjustments I'm unsure of 1) When setting the gains using the DMM method to obtain the corresponding output voltage for the amp's rated capacity (1000W RMS) - I need the most clean power I can get from this amp. Whats going on SSA. Need some advice on this wiring/electrical decision I need to make. I was running ~1000wrms on my old setup, I currently have a single run of 4 gauge Knu OFC (~20 feet) to the back where I have a distribution block. Now I upgraded amps and I will be running ~1400wrms (changed amps more because of space constraints, bigger box so less space for amps). Amplifiers have fuse ratings of 120 and 50 amps. Now Knu claims a maximum rating of 150 amps on their 4 gauge (even though they provide a 120 amp fuse for their kit), I was wondering if I should add another run of 4 gauge to the back so I would have separate runs for each amp. Been off pursuing other hobbies and raising a little girl... My DNX8120 is dying a rapidly accelerating death. First the XM receiver takes an intermittant dump over the last year. I have a Sundown Audio SAE-1200 amp running 2 SA15s. I'm having a problem getting sound out of my subwoofers. At first I had a Pioneer 4100 DVD when this first started happening. The Subs would cut in and out, then finally stayed off but the amp stayed on. So i had my local shop check the voltage and they said no power was going through my rca's. So I had a different cd player and installed it. After I installed it everything was working fine again. Then today the subs started going in and out. hey guys, its been a while since i last was on here. Broke down and decided to get 4 skar vvx10's for my truck. Its a 2001 ford f250. The woofers are d4's so ive been trying to figure out which was the bes route to go with amps. I wont lie, I picked up a Soundstream rub1.1600d initally and was going two run two of them (2 woofers per 1600). Electrcial wont be an issue as i already have a 270 amp alt and an xs power 3000 secondary battery. Deka batt in the front. I'm just stretched on amp choice. I've looked at everythng and just cant decide. I trust the soundstream, but if there is better out there, i wanna try them. any suggestions? if i could keep it under $800 id be st…

So I plan on getting a battery for in the back soon and I was curious as to if it will hurt my battery in the front by getting an AGM for in the back. Also do I have to go with something that is in the range of power my amps are taking or can I go with something along the lines of a XS Power D545? Roughly with both amps I'll be in the range of over 1800-2200watts rated.

Ummm. I redid my big three. I was making a tutorial for YouTube.I added, didn't replace the original wires. In 1/0 i did alt positive to battery positive, battery negative to chassis, battery negative to engine block, engine block to chassis i guess its more of a big four. And battery is kinetik 800. And for a couple of days it was alright. But then I noticed it was having problems turning on, it would crank an extra 2 times or so. Now it doesn't start without me getting a battery charger. in your opinion whick is a better batt for every day use. i have been thinking about 3 SHURiKEN 140ah batts, but how do they compare to XS Power D3100's? i want something powerfull as hell and very durable for longevity. i know how they look on paper, but how do they perform in the real world

My friend asked me to find him a cheaper 4ch amp. Budget is as close to $100 as possible, little over is ok. It needs a full range output on it because his deck is single RCA. I see a mob quart in the classifieds here but not sure how to follow up on that. No contact info. Is there anything new that can be had for this price? Just running a set of aura components and a set of Polk coaxials.

I bought a crescendo bc2000 originally for my pair of sa12s. I also bought one of those big ass 2 ch crescendo c1600.2's.. I want to use the big one and do far I got a pair of components lmao. Seems a little extreme for them.. What if I run the c1600 to the subs? Since its class AB will it have any audible difference vs the class D bc2000? Might be a stupid question but I've only ran class D Amps on subs.

Alright.. So my Iphone has decided to stop working with my head unit. When i plug it in, it will either automatically go to error-01 (communication error). BUT, it also does something else I find very strange. It will sometimes play the very first song on my ipod. Doesnt matter whether I go to playlists, or certain artists, it will always switch to all songs and play the first song according to alphabetical order. (My headunit doesnt let me control songs through my ipod, i always need to switch using the head unit which is normal.) Ontop of this, if it starts playing the first song, i cant skip it, fast forward or even pause. This all causes it to go into an error-01…

alright, i currently have the Pioneer AVH-4300DVD and i really like it and was thinking about getting the AVH-P4400BH for my H2, but have also been looking into the Kenwood DDX-719 and was wondering if anybody has had the opportunity to play with both and what your opinions were about the Kenwood? i haven't gotten to play with the Kenwood at all, but it looks good on paper.
