Can someone please help me with my radio. I put my sundown amp to it, and my radio started to fry!! now theirs no output from my speaker wires from behind radio. (I disconnected amp, and rewired back regular). I tested all wires, and it seems that one speaker output does in fact give a little static. Im guessing I fired the outputs in the radio. Can anyone help me fix this problemo

ok so heres the deal just hooked up my system the other day and turns out i got nasty volt drop from 14.3 to 12 with my amp setting on a little less then half no bass boost head unit at 3/4 so heres the question what brand alternator do you run, amps on it? price you payed for it.? Ive been looking around and i have mechman alt. dc power georgia power and irragie alt im shooting for 270 amps.. would be appreciated thanks in advance

hey everyone. i came accross this amp in my friends basement and he let me keep it. its an Alphasonik MA-2055. doesnt have the regular speaker terminals. has all the different colored wires. has power and ground leads coming out of the amp. on amp it says: minimum continuous average power: -55w per channel (2chan). both drive into 4 ohms...? -110w mono mode into 4 or 8 ohms. -freq resp 20-20khz -THD <0.05% does anyone have ANY info on it? couldnt find anything on google... thanks! im going to be using a hifonics brz 2400 watt model amp, am i ok running just 1 strand of 0 gauge wiring to the battery or should i do 2?

as i was doing the big 3, i was looking for the engine ground, but it is in a very difficult place to work on, ill have to take a hose, some spark plugs, and other wiring to be able to connect the wire, is there any alternative to the factory engine block i have a 2000 silverado 4.3L

A few days back I got in my car to head to a friends house. Started the car and as my head unit turned on I heard a sort of pop/thud noise coming from my trunk. It wasn't too loud, but I then noticed my sub wasn't playing. Looked back there and the amp wasn't on. It had worked fine the day before. I checked fuses, grounds, and the remote wire to make sure it was fine. Amp still wouldn't turn on. I opened up the amp and I didn't see any burn marks or any apparent damage, but I took some photos to see if any of you guys happened to know anything... Hello everyone! I have a question regarding my Eclipse. I have a CD5030 and also have a XM Onyx that I'd like to run thru the decks AUX. Does anyone know if I'd be able to use the same AUX plug with the CD5030 as the CD5425?

im having major voltage drop and headlight dimming i have a rockford fosgate t1500-1bd and a power acoustik 1000max 4channel have stock battery and stock alt, all in a 2000 chevy silverado single cab 4.3L V6 also have big 3 done with kolussus fleks 1/0awg would a bigger battery help, like a kinetic HC2000, help or what should i do thank you

Kinda in a jam here guys. My Clarion HU has took a shit on me. I cant turn my volume up to test before it blinks, cuts off, and shuts everything down. After it resets it come right back on and it plays fine at a moderate to a quite loud level, but it's cutting off on me before I can get it to full volume. I need some opinions on a new one. What I want is a Pioneer 880PRS, but I don't have time to wait around on a used one to show up. I need one now even if that means finding one that does what I need and keeping my eyes peeled for something better. ok i know there is a topic here somewhere on this but i have searched using keywords and didnt find what i was lookin for. i would like to know what are suggestions to correctly power a sundown 3500. it is not s competition vehicle jus a daily driver. the speakers will be 4 fi ssd's ( i already own them) run @1ohm. most likely this will go in my ford escape which already has 0ga upgrade, kinetic 2400, batcap800 for electrical. i know i need an alt so i will get probably one runnin at 14-15v 300-400a. i might only compete once or twice but this is just for me to blurr my vision when i'm feelin it. how many batts should i add after i get the alt?

ok so i bought some 0 gauge welding wire for my amp. can i just ground my batt. to the chassis and engine then ground my amp to the chassis? this probably sounds stupid but i dont wanna fuck up

Hi all, I will be using the Alpine Imprint Module with my Alpine iDA-x305S. My Question is, will I have to use the disc and mic tuning kit (KTX-H100) for tuning or when I plug the unit in; will it unlock all the tuning features of the imprint and I can tune it manually? because that's what I would prefer.. thanks.

I was driving around pushing the system in my tahoe no harder than i usually do and it shut off. i get home and check fusing and all externals are good but 2 of the internal 40a fuses blew.. one has a huge black spot on it and left a bunch of nasty residue on the amp.. I plan to go out and just buy some more 40a fuses tomorrow but im wondering how in the hell it happened? connections in this vehicle are solid, or i would have blown ANL fuses. Does this happen when pushing a system pretty hard? Its just never happened and it has me concerned why it happened and COULD i have damaged my amp? Are there really any half decent HU's these days? Originally I was gonna go with a Kenwood eXcelon KVT-696. But I don't need a DVD player. I would have had this system done by now but I lost my job back in Jan and just found one. hey guys i have a power aucoustik amp 4 channel and its in protect and its not the wireing or anything cause we hooked up a different amp in its same location and that one works fine. i opend the power aucoustik amp and nothing looks out of place but maybe there could be something wrong of the other side of the board you cant see ? ill have to check that but i dont know if i want to completly remove the whole case so i can see the other side. im not using this amp but my friend is counting on useing it is there anything i can do , it was working fine and he called me to his house and it was on protect the fuse was blown put in a new fuse still in protect .
