ok so I installed my singer 250 alt amp and did the big 3 using knu 1/0 ofc. . the volts with nothing on stays at 14.6. I can turn it up full tilt and it ranges from 13.8 - 14.1.. So my question is why do my headlights still dim? It's not on every song either. I can play tech n9ne so dope or TI on purpose and its perfectly fine. I can play something with alot less bass like lil wayne god bless America and it looks like a light show. Am I going to have to break down and install a couple batteries or what? trying to avoid it because im running out of room. oh, im running a 12 inch zcon on a crescendo bc3500

this amp does over 800rms from 4-1ohm making it VERY versatile. it's small and can fit all over, it has SICK on board xovers/subsonic, 24dB per octave I believe, built in cooling fan. just over built in general and a sick amp. I always see people going with other amps because they just don't know what they're missing... see the vid in my sig of one x600.1 pushing a single DD 9510F and tell me another budget 600watt amp that'll do that.. whats up ssa i have a little problem i have two jl audio amps 500x1 mono there suppose to be hook on each sub i have 2 kicker l7 15 2ohm now my problem is im trying to strap them together i thought i follow all of the directions its just missin something feels like a lack of power now i did have these hook up not to long ago then i switch over to us amps which i love but i had to send one in for repair so i put the jls back in until my us comes back now keep in my mind everything is brand new so i dont know what i hook up wrong i need help bad because i miss my bass so if anyone has diagrams or knows how to hook these up propley i greatly appreciate it. thanks Mr crown

Ive been lookin around and not finding much of what im looking for. Im going to need one of those volt meters like the infamous "stinger" one everybody seems to have.. problem is that thing is ugly as can be and too flashy for me.. the whole big bright stinger thing isnt for me. I would prefer a small, simple voltage meter i can mount anywhere i choose. If someone can point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it. thanks

Hey guys, I came across a USA 442 and picked it up for a real nice price. Before I did, I wrote to US Amps and asked for some background on the amp. Someone named Jeff Coleman replied and gave me some info on the amp..... some power specs, production run, etc. But, he commented that the 442 had an interesting and complicated crossover and that if I couldn't get an original owner's manual that I should run an outboard crossover with the amp. Anybody got any comments? Advice? Experience with the amp? Thanks in advance.

Im in need of some help... I have a problem that just started recently... at random occasions... my deck will flash off then back on... ushually several times in a row.... but if i turn down the bass... it will stop doing it... then i can change songs.. turn the bass back up... and it will play fine... switch back to the other song and it plays fine.... this cutting out crap is getting really annoying... and its like it only does it right before it should hit hard... ushually after the car has been sitting for a few hours... on the first hard hitting song i put on... the first time its supposed to hit hard.. the deck wi…

I currently have L7s, I was going to get a FI Bl. But instead I think ill just keep them for now and I was wondering is a saz 1500D, capable of powering two 15" L7s? or do I need more power to them?

I have looked through the manual and see no details on it Does anyone know if the remote knob is a GAIN KNOB? or a BASS BOOST KNOB? I am trying to set my gains and would like some more information before i hook up the o-scope.

Got 320 amp mechman now need advice on wiring and what type of lithium battery setup to get, wanting to run about 4-5k RMS total and hold voltage. i was playing around with my headunit(pioneer 860mp) and switched some things that made it hit the hardest of ever!!! but i took my magnum out and looked at the coil and it looked brand new un harmed!!!(even with me turning the gain a little higher than the head units voltage) i have a bx1500d i think that i want to step up to a bx1800d or an audiobahn 1800dt will i notice it? audiobahn vs hifonics amp wise or is tunsumi a good amp?

Does anyone here know who makes Digital Design amplifiers, and are they worth the extra money?

Hey there guys just needed some advice on my electrical. I have a 110amp stock alternator and i am running 2 12s skar vvs off a sundown saz2500 @ 2ohms so there getting 1200 rms. i will be running xs flex 0 gauge with a odyessy pc 1500 underhood. I am also running a skar 80.4 with front/rear skar coaxils. Wanted to know if my electrical is sufficent and another question was that using my sundown amp at 2 ohms, will that be less stress on my electrical rather then 1ohm? Thank you

i been reading around and i just found out that my car has no remote turn on wire, But i have an aftermarket cd player. what color wire should tap into to run the amplifier remote wire?

I am currently running a set of Crystal 6.5" componants on my Sundown 100.4 The HU Is a Pioneer DEH-P6000UB I keep having some "popping" from the mids.........as if they are almost over excurting at times. HU High Pass is set at 125 Hz The amp is set at Full Range. I cannot seem to find a way to shut off the High Pass on the HU and i wonder if turning on the High Pass on the amp could cause some issues. Also what could be the other causes of this besides it being too low a crossover point? Gain is slightly less than 3/4 no bass boost or anything else. Ideas are VERY welsome. J

I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD that I have added the big 3 in 1/0 and a stinger spp1500d to. Inside I have a crescendo bc2000 powering a dc xl 12 d2 and a merlon meam50.4 powering my components and coaxials. While playing music with the bass up the low notes make the voltage drop. Sometimes down to the mid 12s from about 14.18. What can I do to fix this? Would an alt be the best way to go? If so what size and brand do i need? Also has anyone messed with the alts on dbelectrical.com?

all of a suddened my voltage gauge went down 1 and i checked every fuse and i put the meter right on the alternator it read 14.1 same as the gauge any ideas what may of happened?

I got a second hand kicker 750.1 a while back, pushing two 10 inch Kicker CVRs (400rms each) wired to 2ohms so the amp is giving about 750rms. Today, my new amp came in, the Hifonics 1700.1 (1700rms at 1ohm, 1200 at 2ohms, 600 at 4ohms) I wired up my old kicker subs to it, same wiring and boxes, so they should be getting 1200rms instead of the 750. On the kicker amp, i had the gain right below half way, on the new Hifonics amp I have the gain turned right around half way, and it sounds the exact same. I have been playing around with my kenwood deck lately and want to make use of its USB direct control thing. I like the idea of getting the numerous CD cases out of my car and being able to control it all off of my deck. the only problem is, whenever I play music off of the USB, it looses sound quality... (volume drops and the bottom end sounds weak). Why would the same song sound great from a CD but sound bad from a USB? Is it suppose to be this way? Also, would the 3.5mm aux imput sound just as bad? I really want to figure out how to get rid of all of the CDs in my car so any advise would be appreciated. By the way, the deck is a kenwood KDC-MP538U Thanks Alex
