ive looked and looked and looked some more but i cant find the diagram for adding a second battery. someone posted it on here before but i cant find it now. could someone give me the link for it please?

like my title says, i did some trading with a guy and hes sending me his 260amp iraggi alternator. its just over a year old and he has only been using it to power a saz1500 for a few months. is there anything i should be on the lookout for when hooking this up? like is there any electrical upgrades i MUST have done before i can hook it up? i have all 4 gauge wiring now but i am switching to 0 gauge before i try to push anything big. i only have a reg. car battery from napa right now but i plan on getting 2 deka 1800's (from Alan427 when he decides to sell) in the future to run as well. anything else??

Say you have 1 amp with or without an internal crossover that you intend to use for a set of components with an external passive crossover. Is it necessary to utliize the amp internal crossover or another external crossover in addition to the component crossover? OR is it enough to filter out the low frequencies with only the passive component crossover? Thanks for input

I need any assistance finding a manufacturer to make a dual alt bracket for my 2011 4runner SR5 4.0L V6 engine. I am in the process of purchasing components for an audio upgrade and would like ti run the truck off the original alt and the sound system off the beefed up(350 amp+) second alt. Ive had a sundown sae 1200 v2 for going on 4 years now. Its been ran in two systems/cars both at 1 ohm. I installed it those two times set it and left it(set it differently). Been going strong until today. My car is a Buick lesabre with a stock 130a alt. My battery is under backseat and power n ground are ran from battery to amp; literally 2-3 ft long runs. My voltage has always been decent; mid 13s is about the lowest I see on hard drops. Today on my way home from work beating all the way here; 15-20 minutes. Hi Im trying to replace my factory battery with an XS Power one. The one and only battery (according to the XS website) I can upgrade to is the D4800. However, I contacted them to verify this and they told me it would be recommended to make some measurements just to verify this. I went ahead and made some approximate measurements (since I did not want to deal with removing all this wires at 11pm) The measurements I got were the following: Height: ~8" Length: ~12" Width: ~71/2 These seem to match the dimensions from the D4800. Ok so let me get this straight........so 1 ohm basically is the max power of the sub...but when u go to 2 ohms its cut in half because its spread out to 2 motors but overall pretty much matching the same power as the 1ohm???and 4ohms basically overall matching the same power as the others if each ohm was combined???/ Im real confused someone explain it!!!!!Also what you think is better a 2ohm BL or 1ohm..

Just wanting to know if anyone knows what the true rms of this amp is at 1 ohm it says 1100 watts but im guessing its around 600 maybe 700.

Well I ask this question on another forum and I guess to must be too tough or too stupid to answer. I can not find any info relating to this. I am about to include a AudioControl DQXS into my system. I will be running my front stage (MB Quarts QSD 216) active off a Sundown Audio 100.4 amp. I'm new to running "Active" so here's what I don't completely understand... Gain Settings. Alright, I just put a new Fi Btl 18 in my 97 dodge ram 2500. It is diesel and has a h/o alternator and duel batteries. I was using a power acustik OVN1 5500D amp. It is connected to a battery with zero gauge wire for both the positive and ground. The gain was only turned up about half way with the BTL running at 1 Ohm. I did not listen to it all that loud, however one day the bass cut out and then the amp started to smoke. I immediately shut off the radio and felt the amp. It was cool to the touch. The amp was only in for a week and had only been used maybe three times.... When I got home I turned the radio back on and the LED indicator came on but no power is coming out …

So I have a Bad Deka Intimidator which Looks brand new but won't take a charge or go any higher than aprox 4v, what could I do if anything.. OR are there any places that will fix batteries if you can lol.

So far in my 2001 Ford Windstar I have: 2 Alpine Type Rs Hifonics Brutus 1200 mono at 1 ohm Kinetik HC1800 under the hood Big three upgrade 0/1 gauge wire I just had a new 250 amp alternator installed. After hooking up the radio my lights STILL dim and looks as though the amp is dipping. Why am I still having this problem? I thought I had gone through all necessary steps but I guess I'm missing something? What is next a second battery? Any help or input greatly appreciated. -CHRIS

Going to be picking up my 88 Cadillac Eldorado this weekend and it needs a new battery under the hood. I need the biggest bang for my buck. I'm looking at WalMart since Marine Batteries are cheap. Any suggestions on which has the most oomph without having to tear under hood to fit something. I'll be running extra batteries in the back for the future, but right now I'll just need to run a Carver PMA 2062 for front stage and a Helix SPXL1000B in the future to run a pair of DP's. My budget is around 100 bucks.

I'm wondering, how would I wire my front door speakers to a 2-channel amp? Do I just run them like I'd run subs?

Has anyone had experience with the Orion 2500.1dz model amplifier? I heard rumors of it running extremely hot. I want to run my two American Bass XFL 1224’s @ 1ohm and I’m kinda on the fence choosing between the Orion and Taramps MD5000.1. Any advice?
