i dont get it. i was doin an install on my friends car and the speakers werent working. I decided to take my eD9.2 out of the car and and switch the pg out to see if i hooked everything up correctly. Everything was fine. Now here is the problem. Once i put everything back in to my car and hooked everything up, i found out that both my amps wouldnt turn on. i checked the fuses, all fine, all the connections, fine also. the HU works.... but it seems that my amps wont turn on. What the heck happened?

I recently purchased the saz 1500D and last night as i was driving, my sub stopped playing and i heard a loud thud type sound right before it quit working. I checked the amp and the fuse were all blown. I replaced them with more and turned it back on. it took a second but my lights started to dim in my car then the fuses popped still. Everything being powered by the same power line is fine there is nothing wrong with anything else. What do you think the problem is. I believe its a factory problem

I am getting some money built up to get some SSD's and I want to push them just right. Since I have no experience with Fi Car Audio, I was wondering what would be the best choice of an amp for these subs. Money is almost not an issue with me. But not a rediculously priced amp. Thanks in Advance ~MadroX

Okay guys.... Your assistance is needed once again... I had my equipment installed by a buddy and since I had planned at the time to run my Kenwood amp at 1 ohm with a 15" Kicker L7 my buddy dropped in a RF 1 farad capacitor while we hooked this all up... Well, the price was just too good. I went along and got the Visonik and love how it looks. Old school red colour to it, and its pretty damn big. Looks like my next step will to be getting those Icons. Might take a few guts pictures when I get home after work today, wasnt enough time in the morning for it.

ive had a saz3000 since summer 08, and this next summer im lookin do double the power in my car, i need help deciding on an amp though. I heard about sundown and stetsom at the same time last summer when i asked around in a different place, and decided on sundown. now i need even more power, at 2 ohms. my choices so far are either to get another saz3000 and strap 2 together, or get a stetsom 6k2d. only problem with stetsom now is they only have the 6k2d in brazil right now. the US supplier said they might have some after april though. any advice on which to get.

i need to wire my sub at 2 ohms. the blue line on the right that goes from 1 of the positive's, to 1 of the negative's, is that 1 piece of speaker wire or is it both that i twist together and put in the terminal? like speaker wire has a positive and negative, do i separate it and only use one side, or do i twist together and just use both? hopefully my questions makes sense. thanks guys.

hi, i am wondering is doing the big 3 in 4 guage enough for a 2400 rms system? i know using a thicker wire is better but i would like to use stock type connects and the biggest side terninal battery wire is 4 guage that i can find unless i can find like 2 guage then i might be stuck using 4 guage.

I will be running a 4-channel amp to run my mids/highs, so I'm looking into a 4-channel RCA set. I've heard people say that it really doesn't matter how good the quality of the cable is, and I've heard the opposite. How do you think these would perform? I have Amazon Prime, so $12.41 with 2-day shipping sounds pretty sweet. Are they worth it, or should I go with something else?

What sizedo i get? The amp has 4 35amp fuses... does that mean get a 130 or so fuse? And should i get the anl fuse or the round one?... and is that wire the right size? Or should i be going with 4awg? Or like 1/0...

  23. Anyway all i have right now is a Soundstream XTA600.2 600 Watts RMS and my Oz Audio Matrix Elite 15 and its dimming even with that. I have been looking around and i cant find that many alternators for my car i had been recommended to call ohiogen to ask? my lights have been dimming when idling especially when the air is on at the same time, i have a 1995 dodge stealth and they alternators are weak on them and i believe i even have the upgraded 140 amp ......it could be the 110 amp thought im not sure, but i was told that i couldn't go past a 140 amp that it probably cant be wound more than that.... I saw this by powerbastards http://powerbastards.com/proddetail.asp?pro…

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone hear has any experience with critical mass amps. I know they are crazy money but that isnt my concern. I just want to know if they can throw out decent power. I had picked up the v2 series pretty cheap and have not used them yet. I didnt want them, but my buddy needed money for his house. Any input good or bad would be nice. I have put a side the money for a sundown 1500d for the summer, but in the mean time i was thinking of swaping my pdx 1000-1 for the critical mass v2 sub amp. Should I do it? (the v2 are the smaller black ones)
