I have a yellow top under the hood with the big 3 done in stinger 1/0 an a run of stinger 1/0 to the rear batts. One is a kinetik hc 1400 to a hc 1200 so 2600 total. Wired to two kicker zx1000.1 my question is the one single run of stinger 1/0 to the rear OK? It's ofc .

can the pioneer P880PRS run an active 2 way setup

I've seen that some amps have a wired remote controller and my question is what does it do. Does it control the gain or bass boost because both of these are controlled by knobs on the amp so whats the point of having the remote? I don't know if this was posted before but i couldn't find anything on it.

if I could get a brand new one for 215 shipped, is there any reason not to? I know of the SAE1200D and AQ1200D's that are 250 shipped. I have had one of these amps about 4 years ago probably, and really liked it, but are the other 2 choices way better? I know Ive heard alot of bad things about their business pracitces in years past, but just try and think of product ability when you make a choice. not going to buy my subs right now, but figured when the NINe.1 is usually way more expensive I figured Id buy it now while I can get that price.

Can someone please help me......... please give me lots and lots of crossover information, I need to learn! I purchased a used Kicker ZX 750.1 for really cheap that was advertised as working condition but only after the engine is turned on. I figured this problem had to be unique to to the previous owner's car but it isn't. I tested this thing in two vehicles and it turns on with the ignition but only amplifies a signal after the vehicle itself has been turned on. Furthermore, if the car is turned off without completely turning the key it will continue to work as expected. I'm here to see if anybody knows anything about this. If it's a super cheap/easy fix I'm all over it, but more than that I'm just curious as to what's up. Besides this, the amp works exactly as it should…

hi i have been looking at tons of videos all day about how to set gains on a sub amp. i have tried and am completely lost. when i touch the speaker terminals with the DMM it says 0 volts... wtf... super annoying so i cant even get passed the first part in this battle in hell... if anyone can help me out with a easy way to set it let me know asap. also with the subs and everything plugged in and all knobs down i hear no sound from the subs at all as if they are getting no power. AHH!! please help!

ok so i figured id give em a try and ordered a h/o alt from db electrical. suppose to be 200a at 1200 rpm n 105a at idle, but wats idle to them? im running a sundown sae 1200 v2 at 1 ohm so around 1500w rms. when im driving down the road the most ive seen voltage drop is about .5 volts on very low hard hitting songs. that part is wat i do like. wat i dont like is when i pull up to a stoplight or stop sign voltage sits at 13.1 with nothing on, 12.6-9 with my lights on. if im in park at idle voltage will sit around 13.9 but if i do anything, roll down a window, turn on the air or heat it drops dramatically, windows pull it down to low 13s(thats one window at a time, rolling…

I am looking to sell my 2- bc2000-d amps. I am looking to get a single amplifier and was looking to get a Sundown SAZ3500 or SAZ4500. I have had someone offer me a trade for a dd T1 amp. I know currently have no information on this amp but will be researching. Looking for opinions of these. I have not been able to hear one either. It will be for my two Zcon 12's.

So in my next build I'm going to be running around 3500 watts probably a bc3500. For my current electrical setup i have a dc 270xp alt the big 3 and a d5100r in the front. Voltage @ idle is 15.2v. If i run 2 runs of ofc 0ga to a deka 9a31 in the back then one 2ft run of 0ga from the batt to amp is it going to be enough to to keep me above 13v for the most part or will i need a second 9a31 in the back. I plan on getting a second one later on anyway but would it be necessary? Thanks.

I'm looking into alpine H/U's as they look and sound the best from what i heard. i just cant decide which one will be the best/most suitable for me. mainly my music will be through iPod so the iDA models i can have aswell.. I would just like to know what you people like the most and what your experience has been. got my eye on x305, 9884 and a couple others. looking to get the most for the money really, dont want to spend more than i need too.

I have a dc level 4 (with atomic magnet) on an apk 2500.1 amp. When I play songs with high bass notes like Versace-Drake the amp cuts out and protects itself and stays in protect until I restart my car. I was wondering your guys Input on this problem as of right now I'm at a loss for ideas. I've tested all my wires and they all have power I have a extra battery on top of a 20 farad capacitor so power should not be a problem at all

Current setup is a Pioneer GM-D8604 4 Ch amp (4x150), this amp powers a 10" Infinity Kappa 100.9W (bridged) and JBL P660c components. I also have a pair of JBL GTO938 6x9's (un-amped) in the rear deck. This is running of the OEM head unit. I blew the coil of the Kappa sub a while back so I'm looking to upgrade. What I'm wanting to do is install an Alpine Type-R 2 ohm in it's place and run it off of a dedicated mono amp. I've already purchased the Pioneer GM-D9601 amp. This pushes 1200 watts RMS at 1-ohm. And add the rear 6x9's to the Pioneer GM-8604. This amp is installed under the driver seat, so I want the second amp under the passenger seat (it fits, without the wires…

I have an alpine cda-9886 HU with pxa-h100 sound processor and ktx-h100 tuning kit. I'm thinking about selling this setup and getting the pioneer deh-p800prs. I'm looking for opinions. I'm working on a revamp of my system and wanting to go active. I know it's possible with the alpine, but i'm not happy with the eq settings i can access with the deck and i don't want to have to hook up a computer to get better sound. Also the ipod interface isn't that good. I haven't played with the pioneer with an ipod. It would also simplifiy my install going wtih the pioneer(no extra box under my seat). I figure my 9886 with accessories is worth around $350. I can get a p800prs for aro…

So I dont know if I will need an alternator, at least I hope not. However, if I did I dont think it is possible to find an aftermarket one for the 4.2L as it is not a very common engine in the f150...anyone have any ideas (I would not be able to afford an alternator for a long time anyways, might have a new truck by then anyways...)

I turn on my car today, and I get nothing out of the front speakers except some buzzing, popping, and engine whine. Everything was perfect last night when I turned the car off. I'm driving an 08 Scion tC, JVC KD-AHD69 head unit with a CV 400.4 amp running a pair of Diamond Audio D3's in the front, my rear speakers are powered by the head unit. I checked fuses, ground, power, and RCA's: they are all good. Here is a video I took of what the sound is, and the second is of the front speakers picking up the sound of my mirror as I adjust it. Any help anybody?
