I know the rms rating on the havocs is 1250 but how much can they really take? would an SAZ-3000D be too much?

I tried to get some answers out of AA about the difference between the two materials and never received a response. What I know so far is that AA will offer mids in a carbon cone as opposed to the original Poly cones. Can someone give me a better feel as to how these speakers will sound compared to the two different materials. As far as I know, the two are built the same but the material for the cone are different. I'm really on my last string with AA. Don't get me wrong, I love what they have done in the past. Just wondering what you guys are running to your assassins for daily. I know they are rated for 250rms but am wondering if anyone is running more than that to them.....if you are running more, how do the subs like it? thanks

Are Havoc's tinsels leads woven into spider or are they free? And if they aren't can a guy order one with them woven?

anyone ever did a ported box at about 3.0 cubes @30 hz for an avalanche 15? if so how does it perform? i have alot of power to throw at it so i can build a smaller box

Are there any specs floating around anywhere I tried looking,but no luck. I didn't even know there were older Havoc's,i know they are rated 1500 rms,but i need some info to build a box and what would work if i needed to recone them in the future,i have owned a newer Havoc and i have to say it's hands down my favorite sub and i have owned or heard alot of different ones. Any help or info is very much appreciated.

ok well ill be having 2 ascendant audio Havoc 18 Dual 2's. i was going to go with a saz3000D but i wouldnt be able to run the amp at 1ohm, and dont want to risk running it at .5 ohm. so i need an suggestions to an amp/amps that would go good with these, i want around 1500 rms going to each sub. my budget is around 900, i can prolly go up to 1grand but thats it

I lost my copy of BBP6 when my computer crashed a couple months ago. My original plan was to run the Atlas at 4 cubes at 30hz. Well, plans change, and I have far too much equipment to run in the back of my Blazer 2 door with the spare inside. I'm looking at probably 2-2.5 cubes tops, and I "want" to reach down as low as possible with some authority. Will 2 cubes tuned to 28-30 hz work without creating a narrow peaky response? I'll be running a set of Dayton Ref 8's in the doors, so I'm ultimately looking at something that will play from 60hz down to the 20's fairly flat. My buddy was telling me about a Ascendant Audio hummer last week? I was wondering if their is a Ascendant Audio loaded hummer? I thought i rembember seeing pictures of one somewhere awhile ago but can't seem to remember where at.

Im probably going to go with 2 18" avas for my next build. I was thinking about 10 cubes with a 28 hz tune. What do you guys think? Also how much port area do these subs like? Are they able to move a bunch of air? Also I will probably be running 750 rms to each. 1500 total

Hi, i’m from germany and i’m looking for some ascendant audio subs. i have an us amps usa-3000 (class a/b) and now i have to decline between two havoc 15d2 or a single mayhem 18d1. I want silly lows for tracks like “put on by jeezy” or “love for money by drama”. the box would be the same for both installations. i have space for a 7 cu ft. box after all displacements with a 85 in² port tuned to ~28 hz. So what do you think would be the best choice for me in this box? two havocs have more cone area, i think this could be an advantage for my goal but what i’ve heard the Mayhem is a very brutal sub. thanks for your help carsten

I'm revamping my entire setup in my truck, 2007 Ram reg. cab. i've got a DLS A5 amp coming for power which is about 750w @1ohm. The 2 10's would be in a ported downfiring box between the front seats and going all the way to the back wall. The 2 12's would be mounted traditionally behind the seat facing forward, how much airspace would each setup need?

I just hooked up my new havoc 18 to a behringer 2500. The sub is wired in series for a 4 ohm load. This is my first issue. The sub comes up at about 6 ohms when wired. this is not the 4 ohms that it should be. I realize it is never exact but 2 ohms off seems strange. When powering the sub, at what i would call moderate levels, there is a terrible banging noise that comes on certain notes. I'm afraid that this is the sub bottoming out. In anyone's professional opinion, what port area would you recommend for 2 AAchaos 10's in a 5 cuft box running off 1 saz3000 at half ohm(or do you think this is too much for the amplifier?)? to be tuned to 33hz for street bass use. 5cuft is what i have available any recommendations?

Hey guys. New to the SSA forum. I've been doing a lot of research lately on getting a new sub. So far I have just bought the wire and cap. I will be buying a Fosgate T10001BD soon, so I'll have about 1200+ to 1600 watts to work with. I'm trying to choose a sub to put on my amp. I have a box built... 3.6 after all displacement, tuned to 29~31 (probably 30 by my math). I don't have the extra time or money to buy another box, and mdf is over an hour's drive away. I listen to rap. Jeezy, T.I., Three 6, 8ball & MJG, etc etc. I'm not worried about rock. I want a sub that can take 1400 watts daily easily and will hit good 28 to 40. God its annoying not having a source to find out info on AA's drivers. Does anyone have the specs for the 18" Havoc? Well,i have most of the specs but i am looking for..... What is the cut out diameter? What is the overall diameter (outside diameter)? What is the mounting depth? What is the driver displacement? Thanks

I was looking through all the threads on the new AA site on SSA and noticed that no one has directly asked for a release date of the new line. I understand, as most, that marketing strategy plays a big part in this whole scheme as does many other factors. Is there any way that we can expect a firm date on the new AA products and which products to be released (any new lines?)? I'm a big fan of AA (maybe the biggest) and would like to know when I can expect to have an opportunity to enjoy what Chad and his company have to offer.
