what would happen to the sound if i put either a 12" assasin or arsenal, hell, even a atlas or avalanche in a 1.5 cu ft ported box instead of their recommended sizes?

In anyone's professional opinion, what port area would you recommend for 2 AAchaos 10's in a 5 cuft box running off 1 saz3000 at half ohm(or do you think this is too much for the amplifier?)? to be tuned to 33hz for street bass use. 5cuft is what i have available any recommendations?

What type of box is recomended? I heard a ported one is good. any dimensions for a box? and port?

anyone have a pic or somthing about these? im curious about them and would like to run them when they come out....

Well I'm really aching to get some new subs, well really a new entire set up but at the moment only subs. Currently I have a 12" cvr and I'm really dissapointed in it. It probably has to do a lot witht the enclosure but I really didnt feel like trying to make a new one for it. As always money plays a mojor role in my decisions and I"m kinda torn between (2) 12 Assassins and (1) 12 Q. I have really been wanting to buy the Q, but one of the things holding me back is the amp. I really cant afford to buy both an amp and a sub. I will most likely be using the amp i currently have pushing my cvr. It's nothign spectacular, not even great, but it works. Its a performance…

I just hooked up my new havoc 18 to a behringer 2500. The sub is wired in series for a 4 ohm load. This is my first issue. The sub comes up at about 6 ohms when wired. this is not the 4 ohms that it should be. I realize it is never exact but 2 ohms off seems strange. The sub is wired according to this.. http://www.the12volt.com/12voltimages/1_2ohm_dvc_4ohm.gif I have double and triple checked it. Now here is my big issue. When powering the sub, at what i would call moderate levels, there is a terrible banging noise that comes on certain notes. I'm afraid that this is the sub bottoming out. However, I dont see how this could be with the kind of music that it is doing…

Are you guys ever going to sell Ascendant Audio subs and speakers online like you do for Fi subs and speakers?

is there much difference in the low end? what about output? i hear only 2 DBs. true or not?

KU40 PM'd me dimensions on carstereo but that forums down.. again and i cant access my inbox =/ Im looking to put together a sealed enclosure at first. i currently have 2 15in havocs, thinking of gettin a 3rd. but im now looking at the mayhems and cant decide if its worth sellin the havocs and replacing them with the mayhems or just adding the 3rd 15. air space really isnt an issue, im using precision ports and for the amp im using the saz3500. thanks everyone.

Who is administering the warranty for Ascendant audio? I realize that there is a merger with Ficaraudio. I wasn't sure if I should post the question here or at Ficaraudio's spot. Scott and I have exchanged a few e-mails as I have been trying to isolate my problem. He has been EXTREMLY helpful, especially considering how busy he must be. Now that I know which driver I'm having issues with and what part failed, I'm curious which vendor will help me and if the 3 year warranty is still valid. I've got my driver boxed up and ready to ship, just wondering where it'll end up. Carl

Hi all, I have an aa chaos 12 that i am wanting to put in a 4th order bandpass box. i want it to hit real low and just be a real street beater pretty much. i mainly listen to rap and dubstep, What do you guys reckon would be the best enclosure size? its going into a sedan and i plan to port it into the cabin. I've been wanting a new sub for a while now and may finally have the money coming. I've been looking at the Havoc 12", have there been any canadian dealers set up yet? I had talked to somebody at AA and they had said I could order direct, is this still possible if there is no dealers?

Do you guys plan on putting out a comp set I heard you guys were and was trying to clarify that so I can kind of have set in stone what front stage I will be running.
