Ascendant Audio

Are you guys ever going to sell Ascendant Audio subs and speakers online like you do for Fi subs and speakers?

I've been wanting a new sub for a while now and may finally have the money coming. I've been looking at the Havoc 12", have there been any canadian dealers set up yet? I had talked to somebody at AA and they had said I could order direct, is this still possible if there is no dealers?

like title says trying to get rid of old nine.1 amp and upgrade to new one....any suggestions

what would happen to the sound if i put either a 12" assasin or arsenal, hell, even a atlas or avalanche in a 1.5 cu ft ported box instead of their recommended sizes?

alright i bought 4 assassins from a friend well old friend now lol. only got 3 of em and the run around when i tried gettin the last one. the box i had is falling apart to say the least and its time for a new one. was gonna get one from a shop and waited a month to find out if i have them make me one they want 190 bux. screw that the box was only gonna b like 2.4 cubes. ive tried a few of the box calculators and not having the best results and vents under 3 inches seems too small but ascendant doesnt give any rec on port area so i was hoping somebody could give me a hand. id like to slap it together today or tomorrow. its gonna house 3 of em on the front with the vent on …

Any specs yet on teh Chaos series? Last I heard from Scott they were similar to the SSD? If you guys have them , i'd like to see the specs on the upcoming "Chaos" series woofers.... its looking like either 8 or 12 of the 15" 's in the new trailblazer.

Well, I feel like a moron. I was messing around today, doing nothing extremely stupid, and turned a 30 hz sine wave up a bit and the bass stopped. These are the Havoc 18 pre production subs. Only one is pwned. Both coils are gone, and there seems to have been a joint failure at the spider/coil/cone connection. Needless to say, my heart was broken when this happened because I love these subs so much. How much am I looking at for a recone? Certain people's inboxes were full when I tried to send this via pm.

What type of box is recomended? I heard a ported one is good. any dimensions for a box? and port?

I need two 12" subs,there is no dealer around me and i'm real close to FI. I want a couple of Havoc's,i have a 15" Havoc and it's probably my favorite sub. Just need 2 12's now,help.

is there much difference in the low end? what about output? i hear only 2 DBs. true or not?

How many watts would u guys run to a pair...as they are rated for 250 rms, but i hear they are vastly underatted. And what size ported box...tuned low...34-30 hz. Probably around 3-3.25 cu ft. net sound good? ALso wats the sq on these puppies? Thanks Sham ps...sorry for the vague questions

Well I'm really aching to get some new subs, well really a new entire set up but at the moment only subs. Currently I have a 12" cvr and I'm really dissapointed in it. It probably has to do a lot witht the enclosure but I really didnt feel like trying to make a new one for it. As always money plays a mojor role in my decisions and I"m kinda torn between (2) 12 Assassins and (1) 12 Q. I have really been wanting to buy the Q, but one of the things holding me back is the amp. I really cant afford to buy both an amp and a sub. I will most likely be using the amp i currently have pushing my cvr. It's nothign spectacular, not even great, but it works. Its a performance…

Still working on my AA Arbiter and needed help with my Precision Port tubes. The enclosure plans call for a 3" diameter and 5" length port. The enclosure is a 1.0 cu.ft. I have two questions..... 1. What is the tuning freq. of the enclosure 2. Are the dimensions for the port specifically for a Precision Port or is this for your regular 3" tube at 5" length. Reason I ask is because the Precision Port directions have different direction for tuning. I guess this is because of the flare on both sides. I really need some help with this. I searched here and can no find. What are the mounting depths of the Assassin/Arsenal Lines?

Hi all, I have an aa chaos 12 that i am wanting to put in a 4th order bandpass box. i want it to hit real low and just be a real street beater pretty much. i mainly listen to rap and dubstep, What do you guys reckon would be the best enclosure size? its going into a sedan and i plan to port it into the cabin. Any advice would be great, Thanks

We had blast today ..really a lot of fun this is not my car , this is of one of our team members ,just so you know . so its an 30 year old VW beetle with an complete custom build polyester body and soft leather top . install: 1x 15 inch mayhem D2 in a 4,75 cu. ft box , port 76 sq. inch tuned to 49 HZ 2 dragster daa2201 linked (which are really crap)I'll explain why later 3x 72Ah Varta , they were sitting @ 13.2 V fully charged.(wich should be 13.7) the dragsters should putt out 4400 Wrms a 2ohms @ 14.4 linked ,we only got to 3200W @ 13.2 V @2 ohms,we also tested a Celestra DA4K , that one put out 2000W @ 2 ohms @ 13.2V (rated a 3200W @1 ohm on 14.4 and 0,5 ohms stable) …

i saw they had a 3in only 4 layer aluminum voice coil now alot have the 8 layer is this going to make a differnce in performance or anywhere. bc im am prob going to get one!

So I hear that the Polly's are some awesome drivers. So I was thinking about using them with a nice set of tweeters with an x-over. Questions is, how do you run yours passive ? What would be a good tweater to use and a good x-over. Are they a good SQ driver ? I am building a SQ setup.

i currently have 2 15in havocs, thinking of gettin a 3rd. but im now looking at the mayhems and cant decide if its worth sellin the havocs and replacing them with the mayhems or just adding the 3rd 15. air space really isnt an issue, im using precision ports and for the amp im using the saz3500. thanks everyone.
