Does anyone have experience with the older and newer Havoc? I bought a 15" Havoc a few years back and now see the Havoc's cone/dust cap has changed. What, if any besides looks, are the differences between the older Havoc and newer one? I am only 16 but i am getting my car soon and i want to have some good subs in it... And ive always wanted AA's but i want to know if they are really worth the price because ill be paying alot to get them shipped to Canada... So if someone could help me , maybe explain if they are worth it and if not just briefly explain why not and give me another option to go for, That would be simple amazing, im kinda new to the whole world of car audio so i dont know really know how to tell a good sub to a shit sub... and if watts is really all you look for and all that crap... so yah im kinda a - thanks dothecoolwip

Is the atlas 12 able to be used in an IB set up for car audio? I can't find any of the old specs.

Are there any specs floating around anywhere I tried looking,but no luck. I didn't even know there were older Havoc's,i know they are rated 1500 rms,but i need some info to build a box and what would work if i needed to recone them in the future,i have owned a newer Havoc and i have to say it's hands down my favorite sub and i have owned or heard alot of different ones. Any help or info is very much appreciated.

What type of box is recomended? I heard a ported one is good. any dimensions for a box? and port?

what would happen to the sound if i put either a 12" assasin or arsenal, hell, even a atlas or avalanche in a 1.5 cu ft ported box instead of their recommended sizes?

hey guys have 2 18" smd subs, have xtra cab f150,trying to do NW have 20d x 24h x 57w so i have 11cuft = 5.5 per sub,trying to get into the 50's but i cant seem to get there, any help appr.I have interchangeable port spl port 17x 13 thats the biggest i could fit, subs up on passenger port up on driver,double 13 ply birch all of box,running stetsom 7k2d 4xs power batts (2700's) 1 h/o alt ohio gen.4 runs 0 gauge 2 pwr 2grnd to the 3 batts in rear,should i just go for the wall? i'd get about 20 cu ft. SSNW1-2. ANY HELP THNKS

How does the Havoc compare to the BL for SPL, SQ, and playing music low and loud.......looking at 6-8 12's also, would a Havoc take 1500 watts daily?

best sq? best LSQ? best setup? 1 12" aa arsenal d4 vs 2 10" cv vmax runing off a kenwood excelon kac-x10d 600rms at 2ohms i listen to rock, metal, alternative rock, etc accuracy is my main objective here. ported or sealed? thinking sealed is better for tighter bass budget is about $180 for subs any other recommendation in this price range

Just a lil something I put together from the vids I got from few weeks ago at the Palms. Gotta say the system is awesome. The bass is some of the best I've heard. Clean, tight and ballsy! Front end and subs are good measure of each other both blend well. I'm sure if Steve wanted to he could take that thing into an SQ competition with some RTA work.. stage wise he has speakers placed just about everywhere so you have height and depth.. I'm just sad not to have heard it all with the 4 alternators running as I'm sure its a little off what its capable of doing to the ear drums, needless to say mine didn't pop like a certain someones lol. 5MD drivers are no joke.. I can't wait…

UPS just showed up and dropped off 4 of these beauties Picked these up for a decent sized sealed setup. There is a bassrace show coming up on the 19th so hopefully I'll have some numbers on them soon. Will be running them off of an american bass 500.1 at .5 Really can't wait to watch some movies in the truck with these guys

i have two assasin 8`s in a sealed box . what kind of amp would u recomend? fosgate 600.1 d or something. thank for any info.

So I posted the question in the Fi forum but haven't gotten a full answer there. I had asked about woven tinsels on the Q and was wondering if this is a change that has been or will be done on the Havocs. I'll hopefully be picking on e up mid March or at tax time.
