i saw they had a 3in only 4 layer aluminum voice coil now alot have the 8 layer is this going to make a differnce in performance or anywhere. bc im am prob going to get one!

Just ordered my set of Assassin 12's today (I cant wait!!!) and Im wondering what to do a/b the box. I have 4cubes total before disp of anything to play with. They will be behind my bench seat in my 84 GMC single cab, so I planning on the subs on the passenger side, with a slot port out of the drivers side. What tuning/port area should I use for these? I know my old 8" assassins loved higher tuning (45htz) are these new line subs different? Suggestions/opinions please!

Who is administering the warranty for Ascendant audio? I realize that there is a merger with Ficaraudio. I wasn't sure if I should post the question here or at Ficaraudio's spot. Scott and I have exchanged a few e-mails as I have been trying to isolate my problem. He has been EXTREMLY helpful, especially considering how busy he must be. Now that I know which driver I'm having issues with and what part failed, I'm curious which vendor will help me and if the 3 year warranty is still valid. I've got my driver boxed up and ready to ship, just wondering where it'll end up. Carl

Do you guys plan on putting out a comp set I heard you guys were and was trying to clarify that so I can kind of have set in stone what front stage I will be running.

So I hear that the Polly's are some awesome drivers. So I was thinking about using them with a nice set of tweeters with an x-over. Questions is, how do you run yours passive ? What would be a good tweater to use and a good x-over. Are they a good SQ driver ? I am building a SQ setup.

Still working on my AA Arbiter and needed help with my Precision Port tubes. The enclosure plans call for a 3" diameter and 5" length port. The enclosure is a 1.0 cu.ft. I have two questions..... 1. What is the tuning freq. of the enclosure 2. Are the dimensions for the port specifically for a Precision Port or is this for your regular 3" tube at 5" length. Reason I ask is because the Precision Port directions have different direction for tuning. I guess this is because of the flare on both sides. I really need some help with this. I got a problem i want two havoc 15s but they are 2ohm subs and my amp is 2500 at one ohm can i use the amp i got with two 2 ohm subs

so i bought 1 HAVOC 15 and soon i will get it ! it will be powerd by SUNDOWN SAE-1000D and i wanted to know if the sub will play loud =] ? and some Member of the forum wrote me : THe SAE-1000D is plenty of power for that sub. Build the enclosure to suggested specs and you should be very happy 65 liter box will be enough ?

Hello, I was wondering if the 18" havoc(first gen) would work well in a sealed box for home use. Or with 2 18" PR would be better(tuned at around 19hz)? I have around 5.5cu.ft to 6.5cu.ft NET work with... its for movies and music, I want tight bass with monster lowz, I want nothing muddy. Any help or suggestion?

I have all of the parts to build a pair of the M-T speakers that were on the old AA website. Anyone have a copy of these? I am ready to build a pair (parts have been in my closet for over a year), and cannot find the copies of the schematic and cabinet drawings I printed. . . Thanks! Brian

I have a AA atlas 15 and was wondering if anyone could recone it to a 12? if so what would be the cost on everything, basket, cone, shipping? also would you just it a dvc sub or would it still have that odd smaller vc to change the qts?

I am looking at the arsenals and chaos series subwoofers. The thing is I do not know what the prices are for the two mentioned subs. I am looking into 12's and 15's for both models, and based on the price I will be able to make the best decision on what is the best for the buck, since they are both high quality.
