I got a problem i want two havoc 15s but they are 2ohm subs and my amp is 2500 at one ohm can i use the amp i got with two 2 ohm subs

Still working on my AA Arbiter and needed help with my Precision Port tubes. The enclosure plans call for a 3" diameter and 5" length port. The enclosure is a 1.0 cu.ft. I have two questions..... 1. What is the tuning freq. of the enclosure 2. Are the dimensions for the port specifically for a Precision Port or is this for your regular 3" tube at 5" length. Reason I ask is because the Precision Port directions have different direction for tuning. I guess this is because of the flare on both sides. I really need some help with this. so i bought 1 HAVOC 15 and soon i will get it ! it will be powerd by SUNDOWN SAE-1000D and i wanted to know if the sub will play loud =] ? and some Member of the forum wrote me : THe SAE-1000D is plenty of power for that sub. Build the enclosure to suggested specs and you should be very happy 65 liter box will be enough ?

Hi all, I have an aa chaos 12 that i am wanting to put in a 4th order bandpass box. i want it to hit real low and just be a real street beater pretty much. i mainly listen to rap and dubstep, What do you guys reckon would be the best enclosure size? its going into a sedan and i plan to port it into the cabin. Any advice would be great, Thanks

We had blast today ..really a lot of fun this is not my car , this is of one of our team members ,just so you know . so its an 30 year old VW beetle with an complete custom build polyester body and soft leather top . install: 1x 15 inch mayhem D2 in a 4,75 cu. ft box , port 76 sq. inch tuned to 49 HZ 2 dragster daa2201 linked (which are really crap)I'll explain why later 3x 72Ah Varta , they were sitting @ 13.2 V fully charged.(wich should be 13.7) the dragsters should putt out 4400 Wrms a 2ohms @ 14.4 linked ,we only got to 3200W @ 13.2 V @2 ohms,we also tested a Celestra DA4K , that one put out 2000W @ 2 ohms @ 13.2V (rated a 3200W @1 ohm on 14.4 and 0,5 ohms stable) …

i saw they had a 3in only 4 layer aluminum voice coil now alot have the 8 layer is this going to make a differnce in performance or anywhere. bc im am prob going to get one!

i currently have 2 15in havocs, thinking of gettin a 3rd. but im now looking at the mayhems and cant decide if its worth sellin the havocs and replacing them with the mayhems or just adding the 3rd 15. air space really isnt an issue, im using precision ports and for the amp im using the saz3500. thanks everyone.

I have all of the parts to build a pair of the M-T speakers that were on the old AA website. Anyone have a copy of these? I am ready to build a pair (parts have been in my closet for over a year), and cannot find the copies of the schematic and cabinet drawings I printed. . . Thanks! Brian

Just like the question says, what is the Motor Diameter of havoc 15? couldn't find anywhere, if you guys have it outside the box, please measure and tell . if measuring dia is difficult, just tell me the circumference. thanks

I've searched the net but haven't come up with a number. The Xmax has been stated numerous times, just not the Xmech. I have two Avalanche 18's in an IB in my 3000 ft^3 HT and love 'em. Thanks... btw, great forum!

Just finished installing a Chaos 12 in 02 Ford Mustang coupe. Running off a SAE-1000d in a ported box. I forgot the exact specs of the box but its around 1.8 cu ft tuned to 34hz. Metered at 137.0 on a TL in the kickpanel. Sounds pretty damned good too!

i have a post on steve's page and a few people recomended the aa 8's. and i have a box design i want to use.. but im not sure on the tuning and airspace..

Just wondering how much power you guys are putting to your Havoc's for daily pounding/bass race?? I've been throwing around a lot of different sub configurations/ideas for next year and am considering either 4 x 15in Havocs or 4 x 18's Havocs in a wall in my '04 Trailblazer EXT - I would be running a Sundown SAZ-1500 to each sub - think they would take that power ok?
