Ascendant Audio

I'm revamping my entire setup in my truck, 2007 Ram reg. cab. i've got a DLS A5 amp coming for power which is about 750w @1ohm. The 2 10's would be in a ported downfiring box between the front seats and going all the way to the back wall. The 2 12's would be mounted traditionally behind the seat facing forward, how much airspace would each setup need?

So I finally got a car that will be sticking around for a bit. I picked up my AA Avlaanche 12s a few years ago and want to install them in the new car. I cannot find the specifications on these subwoofers. Could someone please point me to them? Also, what is the recommended sealed and ported enclosures? I have 2 ascendant audio avalanche 12s but one is damaged. I want to have 3 for the setup I am planning. Are these still availible? Can the aresenals also work as drop in replacements? Thanks, Neil

My new Havoc 12 came in today. I don't have a box built yet soI will post listening results tomorrow or Thursday. This sub seems to be built very well. It is very beefy. The packaging wasn't too great, but it arrived safely. The only thing is one spring terminal is sticking. I think that will be easily fixable though. Here are a few pics for your enjoyment.

Nick, Scott, and Shawn - sent out an email about this the other day - any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!! Also to anyone else that might have some ideas for a sick wall setup behind the 2nd row seats in my trailblazer let me know. Info on the truck: its a 2004 EXT, so its a little longer than the normal blazer Rough measurements are 42in wide, 39 in deep, and about37in high - i might be able to squeez out another inch or 2 for the width and height. Looking for something different....goal is the 149.9 bass race class thanks in advance

Just ordered a Havoc 18 to replace my 4 tens. I will try to do some kind of review when I get it, although the only thing I have to compare it to will be my 4 tens. Wish me luck!!!

Does anyone have experience with the older and newer Havoc? I bought a 15" Havoc a few years back and now see the Havoc's cone/dust cap has changed. What, if any besides looks, are the differences between the older Havoc and newer one? Hi, I'm looking to buy a pair of Older arsenal 15's, I want to go small sealed with them... what are the sealed box specs on them please? Thanks

Are there any specs floating around anywhere I tried looking,but no luck. I didn't even know there were older Havoc's,i know they are rated 1500 rms,but i need some info to build a box and what would work if i needed to recone them in the future,i have owned a newer Havoc and i have to say it's hands down my favorite sub and i have owned or heard alot of different ones. Any help or info is very much appreciated.

Currently have 1 12" havoc running on saz-1500s @ 1ohm, just wondering if saz-1500d have enough juice to push 2 of them (have stock Alt on my car + Big 3 and HC2000), if anyone have experience running 2 of them on that amp pls can you share with me, thanks

Are you guys ever going to sell Ascendant Audio subs and speakers online like you do for Fi subs and speakers?

I have an ava 15 ... and i wanna know what kind of power i should put to it ... right now i have a kx1200 that i could run to it but im afraid with that power in 2.5 sealed enclosure it might be to much ... any suggestions? maybe a dif amplifier?

Still need to clean it up, wash it, and get all the saw dust and crap off everything so it looks better. Pretty dirty right now though. Not finished though. Going to have more highs inside the cabin when I get money (obviously), glassed doors, glassed center console, and some extra stuff on the amprack like more speakers and some logos on the black thing. Its not anywhere near "finished", but its all playing, and it looks pretty good now. As said, still need to put the line driver in and hook up my alternator. Will make a huge difference since right now the batteries sit at like 12v and the voltage drops so low that the amps shut off. Havent gotten the subs even close to …

Aight I was bumping hard for bout 20 min or so, and then all the sudden my sub just stopped playin, and my whole car smelled like.. well you know. Rotten eggs or something. Amp is still on perfect, all connections checked. I know what happened, but I guess I just need someone else to tell me so I'll admit it.

I tried to get some answers out of AA about the difference between the two materials and never received a response. What I know so far is that AA will offer mids in a carbon cone as opposed to the original Poly cones. Can someone give me a better feel as to how these speakers will sound compared to the two different materials. As far as I know, the two are built the same but the material for the cone are different. I'm really on my last string with AA. Don't get me wrong, I love what they have done in the past. AA has been more than kind to me. Chad has done some wonderful things for me in the past. Updates and news about new and improved products have been terrible. I'…
