I've got a pair of 15" Avalanche subs. I want to build a box, but I don't know what size it needs to be. I'm undecided on whether I'll be using them in my home or my car. My car needs a little work, that's why I'm undecided. Anyways to the good stuff. I want to go ported for either application. For the car I'm guessing a tuning frequency of 32 to 35Hz. For the house I'm thinking 28Hz. I'm open to suggestions. For power I've got two TMA 1000.1 in the car. Oh, by the way the ride is an 86 Mustang GT hatchback, the rear seat isn't used so it's folded down flat. The subs would be wired to 1 ohm each, one sub per amp. In the house I've got a Behringer EP2500. The subs would be…

Ok I currently have a MKI Brahma motor heading my way, my plans are to recone this into a 10". I was told by the previous owner (seller) that I could get recones through AA. I've been looking around trying to find an email address and figured I mine as well post up in here to try and get a response. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it!!! Thanks! Jon

On the old webpage it didn't recommend any box sizes for HT use. Does that mean the arsenal shouldn't be used for a HT sub. Can anyone give me any recommendations on a box size for the 12" version? I'm a noob when it comes to home theatre. Thanks!

Just wondering if anyone has had any updates about the release of AA's new line. I know that the projected date is around July 4th, but I also know that things change. Thanks.

Wont have the lows like this box did but it time for something new http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwueovUYt6g

Who is administering the warranty for Ascendant audio? I realize that there is a merger with Ficaraudio. I wasn't sure if I should post the question here or at Ficaraudio's spot. Scott and I have exchanged a few e-mails as I have been trying to isolate my problem. He has been EXTREMLY helpful, especially considering how busy he must be. Now that I know which driver I'm having issues with and what part failed, I'm curious which vendor will help me and if the 3 year warranty is still valid. I've got my driver boxed up and ready to ship, just wondering where it'll end up. Carl

I don't know if you guys lost the paypal invoice that I paid for the two XT25 tweet replacements or not. Lemme know where you stand; I sent an email to the contact email I had that now comes back with permanent fatal errors. I replied to the paypal invoice email with no response. I sent a pm to you here with no response yet. At least let me know you're working on it. I'd rather have the gear than file a paypal claim. thanks, doug blohm

OK guys when SQ competitors jump into SPL the results can be less than favorable... I was running a sweep before my SPL run and got down to 37Hz @ 138db when I hear the noise that everyone dreads... the cone bottoms out. I reach for the volume knob but the face on my 9861 (non-motorized) has fallen down (can't control the volume with it down). Anyway to make a long story short ... the former for the voice coil pretty much exploded and now I need a recone. With Ascendant Audio's website now a one pager contacting Chad is going to be tough. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with him? BTW-This is one of two Avalanche 18s and the other sub is still playing fine. …

I was looking through all the threads on the new AA site on SSA and noticed that no one has directly asked for a release date of the new line. I understand, as most, that marketing strategy plays a big part in this whole scheme as does many other factors. Is there any way that we can expect a firm date on the new AA products and which products to be released (any new lines?)? I'm a big fan of AA (maybe the biggest) and would like to know when I can expect to have an opportunity to enjoy what Chad and his company have to offer. I've been told that the new line was coming out since december. I'm not pushing the issue, but just want to keep the AA fan club alive because many…

For those of you who have read this small Forum area will hava noticed my dying urge to get hold of an Avalanche. Chad hasn't contacted me still in over a week and hasn't signed on to the forums, does anyone happen to have any relevant contact information which he uses that they wouldn't mind PM'ing or posting to me. I lost my copy of BBP6 when my computer crashed a couple months ago. My original plan was to run the Atlas at 4 cubes at 30hz. Well, plans change, and I have far too much equipment to run in the back of my Blazer 2 door with the spare inside. I'm looking at probably 2-2.5 cubes tops, and I "want" to reach down as low as possible with some authority. Will 2 cubes tuned to 28-30 hz work without creating a narrow peaky response? I'll be running a set of Dayton Ref 8's in the doors, so I'm ultimately looking at something that will play from 60hz down to the 20's fairly flat. If this isn't going to work, I'll have to look into other sub choices, as the space is now going to h…

I notice you have made posts in the forum, but haven't yet replied to my PM's or post in another thread I am desparate for an avalanche, having had 3 sales of one with people fall through for one reason or another over a year, and won't be able to 'bid in' for one on Monday. Sorry to make a spam type thread, I am just dying to get hold of one of these though for home audio.

So everyone is excited about what new subs are going to be coming out in the next few weeks. This is great and all and I'm very excited myself (chad can attest to this). I was wondering if any new smaller speakers will be added to the Arsenal (get it Arsenal). I really enjoy the POLY's that I have and was just wondering if any new speakers may be coming out along with the subs.
