HU :- Pioneer P99RS ( the setup is full active) Tweeters :- Illusion Audio Carbon Mids :- Compression Horns Illusion Audio CH-1 (old school stuff) Midbass :- Exodus Anarchy 6.5 Subs :- SMD 18 Inches Amp for tweets and mids :- Steg 4.01 Amp for Midbass :- Steg 2.02 Amp for Subs :- Audioque 3500.1 x 2 Batteries :- right now four 70 Ah, Will be adding more. Alternator :- Mechman 220 amps Enclosure is a 13.5 cuft with sub and port displacement deducted. The port area is 100 sq inch tuned at 28 hz !! as it a removable port will be trying more options. Looking to pick up a 15" Havoc near Houston, 77546 to be exact. Anything within 50 miles is fine; I commute all over the place. If anyone could chime in with a dealer nearby, that'd be awesome. Thanks.

Few questions Are they really 7 inches? or just 6.5? Also, whats a good crossover point for them? Will they play good down to 80hz and up to 3500Hz? For the ones who have experienced them, how is the midbass response on them? Clear and loud? Do they hit good enough for their size?

Hey dudes, A per title, I am building a wall in my Car (E10 Corolla) With 2 Mayhem 18's, And between 5-10Kw of power. I'm not chasing numbers, I want streetbass but I am wanting to get reasonable numbers on a Mic, Was thinking about 14cuft after displacements tuned to 32Hertz, how does that sound?? I want to keep in mind that I will prob upgrade from Mayhems to SMD's at some stage next year maybe Any advice welcome Cheers quinny

Hi, i’m from germany and i’m looking for some ascendant audio subs. i have an us amps usa-3000 (class a/b) and now i have to decline between two havoc 15d2 or a single mayhem 18d1. I want silly lows for tracks like “put on by jeezy” or “love for money by drama”. the box would be the same for both installations. i have space for a 7 cu ft. box after all displacements with a 85 in² port tuned to ~28 hz. So what do you think would be the best choice for me in this box? two havocs have more cone area, i think this could be an advantage for my goal but what i’ve heard the Mayhem is a very brutal sub. thanks for your help carsten

I can't decide whether to go with AQ Hdc3 12s, SSD 12s, or SA 12s I can give them about 2 cubes per sub ported with a sundown 2000d on each pair

Ive been all over the forum trying to figure out which sub would work best for me and I still havent come to a conclusion. Most recently, Im thinkin about either a 12" Chaos or 12" Havoc. I have a 2.5 cubic ft box ported and Im planning on buying an audiopipe ap10001d or ap15001d depending on which sub I choose. I drive an infiniti sedan so the box will be in the trunk. I am currently running on Fi X 12 at 2ohms with 250 watts from a fosgate prime and it sounds good for a $250 setup but I want an increase in SPL without having to build a new box. Is the Havoc worth the extra money in my situation or will the Chaos being a satisfying upgrade from the Fi X? I know it can be…

I need two 12" subs,there is no dealer around me and i'm real close to FI. I want a couple of Havoc's,i have a 15" Havoc and it's probably my favorite sub. Just need 2 12's now,help.

Just like the question says, what is the Motor Diameter of havoc 15? couldn't find anywhere, if you guys have it outside the box, please measure and tell . if measuring dia is difficult, just tell me the circumference. thanks

:popcorn:Okay guys if I new I wouldn't ask. But I gave my own opion to my customer.Wich is better more durable. Handles power better I think the t2s are over rated but seems to be a pretty rugged sub. But I think the havocs will. Do just as good if not better. So could i please get some imput on this...........

Hi guys, A friend of mine wants to buy 2 12" Mayhem. He has an MTX te4000 amp for the bass, and he will do all the electrical upgrades he can later. He already has some Optima batteries, he needs to do the big3. His old sub was a Pioneer premier 15" spl monster !! But it has a problem ! All 3 Pioneer spl subs I saw here have been blown !!! I am trying to tell him that he needs only a 12" sub because he drives a small car with a small trunk : it's a Renault Clio ( 2 or 4 doors, I don't remember), hatchback car. He thinks he need 2 Mayhem on his MTX amp. What would you do ? One Mayhem D1 to use the amp at 2 ohms, and later another sub to run both with the same amp, if he …

Hey, im currently in iraq looking for amp possibilities, for my new Havocs. Im currently Looking at the Sundowns... Looking at either the Saz-2000D, or the Saz-2500D. Which do you guys think. I just bought an aa avalanche 18 for my home theater sub. I'm looking for the .wdr file for winisd. It seems like everytime I put a new sub in, it comes out wrong. If anybody could email me or post a link I'd really appreciate it.

What do you guys think i should get? 2 15" BTL or 2 15" SMD. Not for SPL but i want my daily driver to hit. Im getting a sundown 3500 for which ever i choose to go with. Is the SMD more expensive then the BTL?

Hey guys. Been doing this build since way back in December 2007. I thought it be about the right time to start a build thread. Being the UK/EU Rep for Ascendant Audio, Fi Car Audio, XS Power, Powermaster, KnuKonceptz we saw it only fit to make something to challenge ourselves.. We had a bunch of ideas initially and I started on a relatively small scale of equipment which grew, grew and grew! I understand the purpose of this sub is to be a high powered brutal daily beat sub... I've been tryin to find some info on usage of this sub and have failed so i come to ask questions. What is the potential of this sub to be used for burps? Because of it's coil size, this is the main thing that has attracted me. I plan on using no less than 7kw to each driver for daily and up to 13kw for burps if i feel like it. So, what would my options be? Can a custom designed sub from Fi be better suited for my needs or can the S.M.D. sub actually conquer my vision and excel over many other subs out there for burps?
