Ascendant Audio

Im looking at both of these woofers, I know their both very loud but I want to do it right and still be loud. My biggest concern is the price, the Havoc may be a tad too much, but im curious as to have the Havoc's compare to the BL since everyone compares them to the Q's. Need some help on what to buy, going to be in 3.5 cf tuned to 32 in a trunk car.

Maybe this is just me.... but the AA Icon in the store menu has (18) products available but there are only 12 in the store. Is this a tease or an actual number of products that is going to be available in the store. Are the AA poly's (carb's) going to be part of this? I'm just curious. What's gonna fill the 6 motre slots? Mids...... more subs...........wiring........caps.......? can anyone help? Thanks.

I understand the purpose of this sub is to be a high powered brutal daily beat sub... I've been tryin to find some info on usage of this sub and have failed so i come to ask questions. What is the potential of this sub to be used for burps? Because of it's coil size, this is the main thing that has attracted me. I plan on using no less than 7kw to each driver for daily and up to 13kw for burps if i feel like it. So, what would my options be? Can a custom designed sub from Fi be better suited for my needs or can the S.M.D. sub actually conquer my vision and excel over many other subs out there for burps?

So everyone is excited about what new subs are going to be coming out in the next few weeks. This is great and all and I'm very excited myself (chad can attest to this). I was wondering if any new smaller speakers will be added to the Arsenal (get it Arsenal). I really enjoy the POLY's that I have and was just wondering if any new speakers may be coming out along with the subs.

Hey guys, Just wondering if anybody has gotten to test out the new SMD woofer. I was thinking of selling my current lvl 5 15" dc woofer and getting a SMD 15. As of right now my trunk is pressed for space and I cannot give the level 5 the room it needs. Well I can but then I run into other problems. Looking at the SMD 15" specs it looks like it recommends a 2-4 cuFt box. As of right now, my level 5 is in a 3.5cuFt box and I was told to rebuild it to at least a 4.5 cuFt box. Well I can split the difference and probably get louder with this new sub. Also, building a box the biggest recommended space makes it better in spl competitions (which I want to do really bad). I was just wondering if anyone will update the AA website... I understand you guys are busy at Fi/AA. It's just that half of the tabs say "Coming Soon!" and two of the lines of subs are missing... Even on this page, read the description: 12": Don't let the classy looks fool you. The Havoc Series 12" is down right mean on the bottom octave. With more linear displacement than most companies high end 15s, the Havoc 12".

What happened to the AA website getting put up a few months back I was interested in doing some browsing although all the info can be found in an assortment of places. Just would be nice to see a site up thats all.

Ok. Long story short... My current set-up the last 2 and 1/2 years is 2, 12" Atlas's in a sealed box. I'm not sure the specs for the box but they were set exactly like chad told made by someone on sound domain who was a good box builder =). Anyways ; I wanted to get 2 Assassin 12's because Chad told me they could be drop-in replacements. My girlfriend thought as a christmas present she should get me the Arsenals' instead because they cost more and would be better. I didn't find this out till they were shipped to my house. My current amp is Alpine 605m. It does 600RMS at 2 ohms, and 400RMS at 4... It is not stable at 1 (unfortunately =(..) My atlas's were hooked up at 2…

ok well ill be having 2 ascendant audio Havoc 18 Dual 2's. i was going to go with a saz3000D but i wouldnt be able to run the amp at 1ohm, and dont want to risk running it at .5 ohm. so i need an suggestions to an amp/amps that would go good with these, i want around 1500 rms going to each sub. my budget is around 900, i can prolly go up to 1grand but thats it

I am going to build an enclosure for my 2 Havoc 18's in my 07 mazda cx-7. Each will be run off an saz-1500d, probably strapped. I have a few questions, as I suck at ported boxes. I have calculated total gross of 12.34 cu ft. I assume this is enough for 2 Havoc 18's? I actually want to do a "convertable" box. I want to run sealed for daily, and have a port package to run for spl. I am thinking to run with aeroports, as these will work in my mind to be easily removable. Suggestions or ideas? I want to tune relatively low(in the 20's to 30's) for the ported part of the build. Suggestions or ideas? Can I use a TL on my setup right now to find my resonant freq and tune the n…
