I didnt realize i had the gains up so high on this 1600 watt amp i got for the sub. LOL I know I need a recone kit cuz now no bass will play... not sure if i destroyed everything though? I know the cone is probably fried going to need new one but im going to have to call the speaker builder and ask if i need a complete rebuild kit.... but next time im going sealed wandering though can the avalanche handle 1000 watts as a daily driver? cuz i wanna know about how much wattage to give it and how should it be tuned? do i need an eq or some type of epicenter think its called where you can adjust what note frequencys your sub hits... (like 18,000-22,000 hrtz for low bass?) th…

hey im just curious about news on the chaos and mayhem series as well as if the avalanche will make a return? i may have missed it, or didnt search properly, but is there any info on them release dates performance etc? being aa i would imagine everything is being made to sound good first and then up the loudness? any of them going to be similar to the o5 xxx or have xbl^2? split gap? sorry for all the questions but im jumping up to an 18 soon and cant decide whether i want two smaller 18s (mjs) or one mean one, Q, mayhem, DR etc. sealed application probably with a possible porting later on. saz 1500d would be for power.. oh and i have a mag 12 right now the last gen so so…

Can the Mayhems be re-coned, preferably by Fi, to change the impedance? If so, is there a comparable re-cone available that would maintain the stock Mayhem power handling of 2500 rms? Thanks.

Just got a small question for you assassin users. how much wattage are you all feeding these woofers? im only giving it about 150watts and slapped it in my old JLW6 box and its decent but I was wondering if I would notice a large difference if I built a box to specs and gave it RMS wattage. let me hear your inputs thanks.

Do the Havocs (namely 18"s) prefer to be ported or sealed. Or are they at home in either enclosure?

i received my sub last week but i didnt notice it was an assassin and ive been runing 600rms to it for the last couple days and it was pounding plenty hard for my taste. however today i found a box in my home with a new sub in it. i quickly noticed it was the arsenal i had ordered and that ive been runing an assassin with over twice the stated rms for the last week. cant believe the sound quality im getin from just one 12!!! what quality product. cant believe i didnt blow the assassin!!!

Maybe this is just me.... but the AA Icon in the store menu has (18) products available but there are only 12 in the store. Is this a tease or an actual number of products that is going to be available in the store. Are the AA poly's (carb's) going to be part of this? I'm just curious. What's gonna fill the 6 motre slots? i wanna know how the havoc compares to the fi bl. i have the fi bl but im thinking of switching to the havoc. im not sure though because ive never heard the havoc but by reading the reviews its way better than the q. is it better than the bl? how so?

Anyone know what would cause this, or is it just a bad surround?

Does anyone have experience with the older and newer Havoc? I bought a 15" Havoc a few years back and now see the Havoc's cone/dust cap has changed. What, if any besides looks, are the differences between the older Havoc and newer one? i have two assasin 8`s in a sealed box . what kind of amp would u recomend? fosgate 600.1 d or something. thank for any info.

are there any 8" Assassins of the older type available? I want to have 4 4ohm assassins to run 1 ohm on a new amp I'm getting. so I need two older ones.

Chevy extended cab truck that runs on vegoil. 18" mayhem in an 8 cu ft box tuned to 28 hz. Powered by an SAZ-3000d with a Kinetik HC2400 in the cab. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for the 200 amp alt from Excessive Amperage. Surprisingly, the OZ Audio 4x6 coaxes in the dash wang pretty damned good! The box is tuned pretty low so this setup REALLY shakes everything. Its quite ridiculous. The mayhem actually sounds pretty decent until I turn it up. Then all I can hear is the roof flexing. I did a quick measurement on the TL and posted a 145. That's just hopping in the car and playing a quick sweep. I was too busy wearing out my electrical system play the 30 hz ton…

OK guys when SQ competitors jump into SPL the results can be less than favorable... I was running a sweep before my SPL run and got down to 37Hz @ 138db when I hear the noise that everyone dreads... the cone bottoms out. I reach for the volume knob but the face on my 9861 (non-motorized) has fallen down (can't control the volume with it down). Anyway to make a long story short ... the former for the voice coil pretty much exploded and now I need a recone. With Ascendant Audio's website now a one pager contacting Chad is going to be tough. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with him? BTW-This is one of two Avalanche 18s and the other sub is still playing fine. …

I can't decide whether to go with AQ Hdc3 12s, SSD 12s, or SA 12s I can give them about 2 cubes per sub ported with a sundown 2000d on each pair

which is better for overall sound and loudness? this will be use BTW in a sedan... both will fit, but which would benefit more? Thanks...
