i really enjoy tinkering with my equipment and moving things around. however i feel that my sub (AA arsenal 12) is too tall for the application i want it for. i was just wondering if its possible to recone it to an 8"? id like the smaller size to conserve some height. however i really dont have any need to make the sub smaller... im just interested in whether or not it can be done. i also understand that it wouldnt be worth the money but i cant help thinking it would be somehow fun to do and make my system more unique...

i'm from another forum and a guy is claiming that he bought 6 AA Arsenal 10"s for separate applications, and all suffered suspension problems.. he says the guy who built the boxes said i looking to find out if this is a known problem, or if the problem lies elsewhere.. thanks

Are Havoc's tinsels leads woven into spider or are they free? And if they aren't can a guy order one with them woven?

I have a bit of a dilemma. I am moving my sub system to a center console to free up some room under my ext cab Sierra (baby stuff going underneath). I currently have 2 10" under the back seat powered by Zed Mini's. I really like what I'm getting out of them. I've even used just one 10" before and still liked the power. I wanted to make a center console to fit my substage. I can either go 1 10"Arsenal or 2 8" assassins (1st gen). Either will go in a sealed box. I'm not looking for the loudest, just quality. I have not powered up the assassins ever, but hear great things about them. The substage will be run off a Zed Minilith. Any opinions on the two choices. Thanks!!

Would 2 12" Mayhem's be ok in 2.742 cubes and on a Sound Stream xxx-6500d at 1 ohms?? I was worried about the box being to big I am only about a 1/4 to 1/2 up on gain right now on two Mass Destruction Napalm's and they sound good but are really made for a smaller box..

Hey, I purchased two of them about a month ago, I am going to run 2 US AMPs MD2D to them. What I needed to know is, what should the box look like. So here is what I came up with. 40"L x 18"W x 16"H using 3/4" MDF. Gross internal cf is 5.33cf. I figured around .18cf displacement /driver (estimated) and will be left with 4.97cf I bought 2 4" Precision Ports. There calculator on thier site recommends a Straigh Length of 9.48" and Flare length of 10.48" to achieve a tune of 32Hz in a 5.33cf box. I can handle that length with what was provided in the kit from Precision Ports. Here is where I get messed up. Being left with 4.97cf before taking out port displacement, I can't seem to calculate the volume in cf that these ports will take up. Does anyone have experience with the older and newer Havoc? I bought a 15" Havoc a few years back and now see the Havoc's cone/dust cap has changed. What, if any besides looks, are the differences between the older Havoc and newer one? Well I want to let Scott and the rest of you know that one of my Havoc's is dead after over 150 hits in the last 2 months, since February of 2008, after 10 shows this year doing Bass Boxing and Bass Race, alot of demoing and having 4 SS 6500 on 16 12" and now having 4 CS 5KW's. So I most say I'm a little dissapointed on the product j/k It was funny because I was doing some testing and suddenly I smell coils and I never did before since having this subs in, so I though that they are finally getting some power and that's why they were smelling. Can I use the Havoc 12" woofer in the home? If so what's the difference between a car subwoofer box and a home woofer box? This would be my first home woofer build. What do they mean by shielded/ not shielded?

I just bought a SAZ1500.1 and sold the Q's about 3 months into it. I would like to know if it is possible to have a pair of Havoc's made with D1 coils? If this is possible, will this significantly effect the drivers performance, BL, etc... to the point where I should just wait until I can buy another amp? Please let me know. Thanks, Chris

Im currently looking at a Havoc 15" right now due to good overall responses for sealed enclosures yet still able to play loud as in loud based from personal reviews we have. Based from specs, we can start from 1.5-3.0 CF... Q1: What does CF stand for? Q2: How does the size affect the overall output and sound quality? Q3: Would going towards the smaller size 1.5 be better or towards the maximum of 3.0? Q4: Any experince playing with the box size that possibly was the best size for sealed enclosure? Thank you so much. looking for any inputs you may have.
