I notice you have made posts in the forum, but haven't yet replied to my PM's or post in another thread I am desparate for an avalanche, having had 3 sales of one with people fall through for one reason or another over a year, and won't be able to 'bid in' for one on Monday. Sorry to make a spam type thread, I am just dying to get hold of one of these though for home audio.

Alright, here is my NEW setup that I will be planning. Two Twelve Inch AA Havocs, on a SAZ-3000D. Wired down to 1 ohm, so each sub will be getting 1500 watts rms. What would i need to tune the subs to ( I listen to mostly rap), What cubic feet for the box, and i would like to use tubes instead of a L or slot port. How many amp hours would i need to power the SAZ? I think im going with 120 amp hours, i have a stock 100 amp alt, big three with 0 gauge, and replacing front and throwing a powermaster in front and back. I have a RATHER large trunk, seeing how i have 95 Lumina there is already a 4.5 cubic foot box and its only taking up 1/2 of my trunk area i think i could fit…

Can I use the Havoc 12" woofer in the home? If so what's the difference between a car subwoofer box and a home woofer box? This would be my first home woofer build. What do they mean by shielded/ not shielded?

Looking to pick up a 15" Havoc near Houston, 77546 to be exact. Anything within 50 miles is fine; I commute all over the place. If anyone could chime in with a dealer nearby, that'd be awesome. Thanks.

I have a high quality 2 channel stereo system at home and use a subwoofer to give the bottom end a boost. My sub is fitted with an RE Audio SR10 drive unit and powered with a 500 watt amplifier. Do you think a 10 inch AA Chaos would give an improvement to the sound quality, the enclosure is sealed by the way.

So here is what I came up with. 40"L x 18"W x 16"H using 3/4" MDF. Gross internal cf is 5.33cf. I figured around .18cf displacement /driver (estimated) and will be left with 4.97cf I bought 2 4" Precision Ports. There calculator on thier site recommends a Straigh Length of 9.48" and Flare length of 10.48" to achieve a tune of 32Hz in a 5.33cf box. I can handle that length with what was provided in the kit from Precision Ports. Here is where I get messed up. Being left with 4.97cf before taking out port displacement, I can't seem to calculate the volume in cf that these ports will take up. I have tried several different calculators and will continue to try and figure thi…

Im in the market for a new substage and these are my choices, either some Assassin/Arsenal 10/12s or the DD 1510s/1512s. For now I have 1600w to play with @ 1 ohm (brutus 1600) and up to 4cubes total before disp. This will be going in a single cab truck and Im looking for the loudest possible daily driver. What are ya'lls thoughts. Which would be better boom for the buck?

(2) Havocs 18s, 11 cubic feet before sub and bracing displacement, powered by a pair of Sundown 1500ds sounds good? Reason im asking is thats the free space I have ava in the center of my trunk, the amps I have (well I only have one), and based on another forum members review and advice on his single, I thought about doing two. Would that be enough airspace? Too much power?

I know with only 5k I should have a bigger box, but this is as big as I can go. Let me know what you think. Goal is to get low (play mostly Decaf and other slowed/modded music) and move some air. Thanks.

Currently running a set of mb quart premiums and one of the 6.5 drivers is messed up not sure whats wrong with it so i am looking for a new pair. I was thinking of getting some CDT's but i was going to see if anyone knew if AA had 6.5 drivers. I emailed nick with no response so i am sure hes busy. Anyone know if they make them still and if so how much... dont need xovers or anything just the midbass drivers.

Got my new pair of Havocs in Monday. (thanks Scott) They won't be hooked up for a while as I'm waiting on a new amp replacing my HK4000, and a new box is in the works also. Old (left) vs New (right). The old proto Havoc will be going for sale soon, so keep your eyes out for that or PM me if you might be interested and I'll let you know when I plan on putting it up.

OK... Thinking about gettting an 18" Havoc. I have been through a few different setups but still the one i miis most and compare everything to is my HDC315 setup a had a while back. Pretty simple as it was right when i started getting into car audio more. It was an HDC315 in a 4.5ft^3 box tuned to 42hz. running on a Planet Audio VX2200D at 1ohm with NO electrical upgrades, no rear deck proting, no sound deadenging etc... hit just under a 143dB. I have had a few different subs since including Atomic APX15, RE XXX, MTX RFL, Execution 15" etc... but nothing i thought was comparable really to the HDC315 as far as just plain hurting your entire body and making you want …
