Hey guys, for now, this forum is mainly for anyone that has previous products and would like to post pictures or ask questions. Until the new products launch there is nothing really to talk about, so lets get this forum going, and discuss previous AA products. If you could post pics of you builds and worklogs that would be great. Thanks guy, Shawn Fleming

NOTICE: For the next week, there is going to be a delay on calls and emails due to Shawn going into major leg surgery as I type this. For the past 2 weeks he has been answering as many emails and calls as he can from his hospital bed. Due to this life changing surgery, he will be unable to get to all the emails and calls for a few days, so those who are wondering what is going on, please be aware of this and take it into consideration. If you know Shawn at all, keep him in your thoughts while he goes through this. Thank you.

Hey guys. Been doing this build since way back in December 2007. I thought it be about the right time to start a build thread. Being the UK/EU Rep for Ascendant Audio, Fi Car Audio, XS Power, Powermaster, KnuKonceptz we saw it only fit to make something to challenge ourselves.. We had a bunch of ideas initially and I started on a relatively small scale of equipment which grew, grew and grew! Scott made me do something I didn't even think was possible but I'm not one to bow out of a challenge although looking back at it I would think twice about doing it again! Went through 10-15 different designs, ported walls, clams, bandpass's etc.. nothing was looking easy.. Measure…

Straight from his website... "i was supposed to have my proto-pics today.......and im sure i will - i wanted to wait till i had them before i finally said something. Ill give you what i have though..... i will not be running Fi anymore. I am switching to AA - but it goes a little deeper then that. It will be AA's biggest, baddest sub - and it will be the SMD edition. I am waiting for the specs to be done on it so there is some T/S (i think im supposed to get some) but i can tell you it has a 4" coil, power handling will be rated at 3500rms, not the standard basket (like my RE's and Fi's) but a different one. It should (of course) have tinsels IN the spiders (to avoid past…

We are keeping very true to form and popping up with something brand new to the industry with no forum buzz or hype. Allow me to introduce the new power house in motor technology known very simply and only as Supergauss; A radical new take on ultra high Gauss motors. We’ll start off with a little bit of background information about the development of this technology. This is the first generation of Supergauss motor technology and was developed and licensed specifically for industrial applications. After the termination of the two-year contract with our clients and them phasing out of Supergauss I and into Supergauss II and III, we are now offering Supergauss I to the Ca…

Ascendant Audio Carbon Fiber Mids Hey there. I figured I would make this thread to clear some info up, since these questions seem to come up a lot about these. I received mine in the mail today and started to take pictures and measure right away. If you want to know anything else that I don't state about them, let me know and I will do my best to answer them. 1.) What size are they? The outer diameter of the whole driver is JUST under 7", but that may be my tape measure. The mounting ring is 1/2" wide, which leaves 6" for cone+surround. Surround is another ~1/2" so the cone is ~5" from the inside of the surround to the other side. 2.) What's the mounting depth? …

Few questions Are they really 7 inches? or just 6.5? Also, whats a good crossover point for them? Will they play good down to 80hz and up to 3500Hz? For the ones who have experienced them, how is the midbass response on them? Clear and loud? Do they hit good enough for their size?

i'm suprised the SMD V2 hasn't poped up on this forum yet. i know that most of us don't like the guy behind the name, but you still can't deny the sub itself and that it's Ascendants sub and not the idiots with the name on it. i would like to see some info on this thing and see some updates as they come. i wish they would rename it also, but i highly doubt that'll happen.

Hey guys I am at the Daytona SBN right now. It is Saturday night. My head has been rocked today by lil jons 18 15" AA Chaos in a sealed clamshell with 2 partial dividers and 9 Clarion 1500 rms amps. lil jon said he's getting about 800rms per and his installer big mikey says each sub has 2.5 cubes. Chris a builder at Fi/AA explained to me that the AA lineup is thir retailer line (avail to dealers) and that each sub is exactly comparable to the Fi lineup. The Chaos that lil jon are running are in fact an SSD w/ the copper coil options. The rest of the lineup is in AA is the Fi equiivalent with all options. SO the Mayhem is a BTL fully loaded triple mag with daily option. I…

Hey, my name is Joe, I was wondering if the Mayhem 12" can handle 2 AQ2200D's, and that my electrical can keep up? Electrical so far is, KinetikKHC 3800, and a Kinetik 1800. All Kicker 0 Gauge. No Big three since battery is stock in the back and that confuses me a little, and stock alt. I also popped the hood and there is no room for battery since I have the saturn ion 3 coupe supercharged and thats my guess as to why it came in the trunk.

I checked the stcky and noticed a mention of the Mids and if any upgrades were apparent. Saw the picture of an AA mid with a carbon fiber/metal cone. Im really curious about how this product is going to be handled. I currently have some AA mids in my front doors and am very happy, and just came to the realization that i may not be able to purchase anymore! 1. Are they still gonna be offered? 2. Are they gonna be improved, and by how much? 3. Can we expect the same awesome performance and price? Any information will be greatly appreciated! BTW the new product line looks really awesome, especially those Havoks.
