its been two weeks since my friends sub was ordered and he hasnt recieved any information on it yet. Hey Scott, or anyone who can answer the question. I'm interested in retrofitting my 12" Q with the compression plug. How much power can I safely send it after the fit? It's doing with with ~1200w right now. Do I need an RA number or anything to send it back? Also, what would the turnaround time be from date of arrival? I understand you guys are still trying to get things back on track.

He's paying for the recone and the billing information that will be supplied will be his... I was wondering if I can get a new gasket, because the one I have has a cut about .75" long on top of it, and I'd like it to look good and I forgot that I had switched it between a different driver and I didn't state it in my F/S thread. I couldn't find these gaskets for an 18" online, I saw some for 15" and under but were wayy to expensive, 15+ 45 shipping, which is retarded. Just want to say how happy. I am I do not regret buying these subs they are all they are cracked up to be. Well worth the money and wait they are everything I've been looking for and then some. They are amazing subs and if your considering a sub from FI do not hesitate. Here's some pics as for a review They drop low when I say low I mean low. Think gut wrenching. I put on the silicon sound system test which goes through cycles and I could not belive what I was feeling and hearing the lower it got the more they shined. Hey guys, I know you guys are super busy but I got a few ??'s for you. I'm going to be buying either a 15" or 18" BTL in the next 2-3 days, but I came across a used 18" BTL with a cracked basket. The part that is cracked is the part that the surround is glued to. They are very small. It was juts reconed and the tinsels arent even soldered on yet. My question is, if i were to replace the basket, would i have to cut the spider therefore needing another recone, or can I remove the cone without damage? If I cant do it with out damaging it, Can you tell me how much a new 18" basket and recone is? and also how much a 15" basket and recone would be? Thanks for your time and hel…

I have two 15" SSDs with copper coils... they've sat in their original packaging for a while now, never used. I don't have the space for 15s, and want to go with 12s... and I've decided on the Qs now. Any way to trade in and add money for them?

Hello, I plan to buy some subs from here. I have a 93 camaro. Im wanting a very loud system with decent SQ. Ive been told to just get 1 10 in a custom box on another forum, but was hoping an emloyee would help me more. I was planning on getting 1 BTL 10/12/15 but dont know which would be best given the room in a camaro trunk. In a chevy tahoe. He swears by rocford and im wanting a system that will be just as loud, if not louder then his.(least thats what im hoping for)

Hey Im going to be purchasing 2 12s from the website sometime soon. Maybe 2 weeks or so. I havent decided on which ones to go with yet. I have a 03 ext cab silverado with 2 12s already in there. I know Im going to need something under 7" depth. What sub do you recommend? Also what are the differences in the SSD and the Q? ONE more question. I want to power them with RF amps how many watts should I throw to them? Im thinking 2 RF 600.1 or maybe 1 RF T15002.

I have an 89 Mercury Tracer, I have 7.7 cubic ft (internal volume) {39 in W, 23 in H, 18 in D} I would like the box to be tuned to about 32 HZ. I will be running about 3500 watts to the sub. any help would be appreciated, I do not know that much about tuning an enclosure.

I noticed on some of the pics,the 18'' basket has small square windows at the bottom and the smaller subs have bigger arched windows.Are these generation differences like early or late model baskets? Are they related to the cooling options or BP Power? Do the recent 18s have the bigger arched windows cuz that's what sets the 12 spoke off for me?

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but I know nothing outside of Rockford amps. I am getting some BTL's fully loaded and am curious, what would be better to put on each one. The Kicker 2500.1 or the Sundown 3000D? This is for daily driving. Would the extra $400 be worth the extra 500 watts per sub? How good are Sundown, heard Kicker were good. Thanks in Advance

heres a vid i took of an RE rep (other brands too) that was in town and wanted to hear the Hoe for himself. I drove him around the block when i met up with him at lunch yesterday. Its just a short clip that wasnt really good enough for the video page.....was good enough for youtube though
