Hey guys, I am planning on trading my single BL 10" to a friend for 2 10" SSD's . I am trading because I just cant come up with the money for a new amp and another BL 10". So I figure, with my current amp (eD 9.1) I would be better off with 2 D1 SSD's. I have a custom built box for 2 10's , but never could come up with the monies to purchase the 2nd BL so the box is just sitting in my basement living room. I am thinking the SSD's would sound great off 1200 watts or 600 each. What I am hoping is that they will be louder than the single BL, I am assuming that with the extra cone area of the 2 that they will be louder off that alone. What do you guys think?

I've got 2 x 18in BL's going into a wall and was wondering how big to make the port. The way it sits now, there's about 10.5 cu per sub. How much port/port area should i have. It is for daily booming and bass race.

Hello. I have only recently entered the world of Fi. Before the BL came out, when I was first looking around, there was another line of subwoofers. Are these still available thru Fi or not? If so, what are the specs on them? I did not think to record them before the X disapeared from the site. Thanks for the help! Ben

Hi tech guys, I sent an email to shawn almost a month ago asking for information and I have not yet received any response. I saw the post in the stickies so I did not send it to the order line I sent it to the non sales related email. I did send an email last week to the sales email address and still have not heard anything about that one either. I have heard the customer service from Fi is top notch and I know you are all really busy, but I am not feeling the love Anyway I hope to hear for somebody Thanks

This will be going in the bed of a truck and using a blowthrough. After much consideration, I decided to downgrade my system a little, well, halve it to the above. All 3 will be in a ported enclosure obviously. I listen to everything, but mainly rap and love some good SPL. SO, what would you do and if you want, why...... Would go with 4 15's all around, but dont wanna lose my entire bed of the truck. 4 12's can fit straight across with ports on the top.

I just want to thank Fi car audio for all the help they have given me. For those that dont know the story here it is.... At WF 06, I needed my atomics reconed and didnt have the materials to do it, so Scott and the guys said that they would no problem. I dropped off my sub at their room/workshop. About 10 minutes into the ordeal Scott informs me that the coil, cone and other parts are wrong. I was, needless to say, screwed. They said to hell with that. asked what freq I burped, what power I had and what class I was running. I didnt know why they asked since I in no way brought enough money to purchase a sub from them on the spot. The friend that introduced me to them sai…

Wait! I just ordered my FI.Q12. This will be the first time I've had a sub in my car since I was 17 an I'm 23 now. I am more into SQ now though. So I hope my Q 12 and pdx-1.1000 sounds good.

I just sold my Q12 (and a 15), I bought and installed 2 Rl-i8's and they sound great, but I just miss that deep loud low sound from a 12. The Rl-i's are little monsters don't get me wrong and they get low, but they're 8's, impressive as they may be, I don't know I just miss the Q12. I got rid of it due to space limitations in my truck. But I would be willing to give up that space again, in a small sealed enclosure. Now I was also looking at the TC-3000, I'm just skeptical of TC's CS and lack of info about the subs. The site shows the older 3k's and on the forum the new ones are talked about but very limited info and stock and they will be producing another batch of differ…
