I emailed Scott a couple time about some recones that I need but havent gotten a resopnse yet. Is there a problem with the email server?

being that the BTL is more spl oriented<<--- or does it matter if a sub is spl oriented? how does it handle the lows?

i bought a 10 q back in mid feb and i have had no problems until now i have had two lead wires break in the past two weeks i soldered them both back on but one has broke again and now there is not enough lead wire to reach the terminal

Hello, i am wondering if FI car audio can sell me a voice coil. I have all the neccessary parts for my 15" dayton audio MK3 recone but the vc. pierceaudioproducts sent me the wrong one, and when i reordered they didnt get it in. anyway the simpl specs are 2.5" diameter, 3" height, 2" winding, Dual 4 ohm impedience. i would also be fine with single as long as it is powerfull. I emailed FI but i havnt recieved a reply yet, so i thought i would try here. I am trying to get the caliper measurements for it. ALSO, i have various 2.5" voice coils and various spiders, baskets, etc., if anyone is intersested please say so. Thanks

i pluged it up to my home cd player and it was playing for about 12 seconds and my cd player like cut off and restarted so i unplug'd it realy quick like. Did i mess up my sub. It looks fine and doesnt smell burn or anything soooo???? was it just the cd player..

Hey all im from northeast PA, and I would really like to hit up some competitions soon. I won my last one in Oct with my BTL hit 143.3 on tl at the dash. Loudest of every car there. It was on music. I really goto a couple other comps so if somone could let me know of any coming around soon i dont mind drivin a lil bit to get to one.

I just registered over here, and Ive seen some of you on other forums that will know my setup, but Im sure alot of you dont. I got 4 18" BTLs, 8 Sundown SAZ-1500Ds, 10 Kinetik HC2400s, and a 300amp alt. The enclosure specs is 6.5ft, 35hz, 100sq in of port. Sorry, this video is real crappy. Its kinda hard to make a good video when I have like 20 seconds left on the camera and the battery is going to die.

Now i have to order some subs, I can't decide between Q's and BL's. I have no idea what all the options are for on the bl's and if someone could explain all of them that would be awesome. I was planning on putting 1 of the hifonics on each, and i also need some advice on box size, tuning etc. SQ is not really a concern of mine, and i have made all the electrical upgrades to the car so everything will work with the power. The Truck is a 2001 GMC Sierra EXT cab, similar to the red one with the 4 15" SSD's in it. My other quest…

I am hoping that all of you with more experience in the car audio world can help me out. I am designing a home theater installation for a friend. My friend has never heard an I.B. (Infinite Baffle) sub but he plays guitar and has mucho experience with car subs. He is of the firm opinion that 15" and 18" subs cannot hit like 10" and 12" subs. I am recommending an I.B. sub installation, using 4 Q18's in 2 manifolds mounted in the attic, with each manifold having 2 drivers mounted on opposite sides but facing in the same direction and wired out of phase, for that extra 2nd harmonic cancellation.
