Album of Fi BTL 15 Pictures I have a Btl 15 fully loaded with Cooling, HiXm coil, Inner Heat Sink, daily Driver, dual 2s. I was recently looking at my sub and found that the spiders were starting to crack. I thought maybe the motor was bending the frame and causing the coils to scrape. I had a friend post on a forum about frames bending and they all said the frame would crack and break before it would bend. I do not know if I got a faulty frame or what but my frame is bent which made the sub not be centered and caused the coils to scrape on the motor and put extra force on that side of the spider . I have pictures and measurement to show what I am talking about. Also on…

Im new to the sub game. Looking for a pretty inexpensive setup that i can play everyday and that hits hard. I was looking at Fi's products and maybe just 1 ssd 15" would be nice or should i get 2 12" or just 1 18" could do what i want. Should i just forget about the 18" because of the cost of a ported box and amp and head unit would be alot? I just basically need help on which subs to pick, amp, and head unit that would be inexpensive. Thanks.

I have been a fan of Fi for a while now and want to put a system in my 07 corvette. I will have enough room in the hatch for 2 12" subs but I am unsure of which ones to buy. I will listen to hip-hop and rap music. I will dynamat the entire car also before the install. I want the bass to be louder than piss, yet still maintain the highest level of cleanliness. I dont like bass that gets distorted when it is turned up. Which would be the best sub to go with? I guess this could also mean, if i get the BTLs can they be tuned to be super clear and very responsive. I will never put this in a competition unless its in a parking lot with a buddy and a couple friends watchi…

Wat up! I just bought two fully loaded BL 15s.the new version with 4" coils.they are dual 1. I was giving them some free air at around 20-25 hrtz on my sundown 1500d for aBout 10 mins at the most.they BARELY got a Lil warm.nothing bad tho.volume just under half way with the bass knob about half gain.just trying to loosen up the spiders and break in the suspension.they are soooo incrediblly stiff lol but on one of them, as I was pushing up and down on the cone,I see a tiny quarter inch tear in the middle of the spider.was soo bummed..does this need to be re coned or Wat?like i said It's brand spanking new,and it still sounds great and bumps hard, doesn't make any weird noi…

Ladies/Gents, Some good friends of mine from college are in a competition for a Dream Wedding giveaway. They are in the running with a local radio station to have their dream wedding given to them if they get enough votes. It is going in 3 rounds so I will update the thread with their stuff as time passes. Please vote for #10, Tiffany Phelps and Joseph Nichols I promise you are not going to get spam email or anything from entering your information. It is simply to keep people from 'cheating'. Please only vote once per round. I do not want them to get DQ'd. http://www.wvhl.net/wedding%20promo%20stage%202/vote_round_1.htm Click that, vote #10! Thank you so much! -Nick

hi ! i would like to know wich FI sub would match the better with my amp to get the most out of it... ? I would like to go with 1 12", the enclosure size will fit on my back seat, that's why... so my amplifier is a kenwood KAC-9105D rated at 500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (900 watts x 1 at 2 ohms) and 1ohm stable, the output regulated at 900 watts... and the last sub i got is a fck'n kenwood excellon who is the top of the line of kenwood and in 1 month i cooked the coils... : ( the sub was a 12" 600 watts rms and 2000 watts peak and is a dual 4 ohms. I am on my way to make a new setup : i would use a deep cycle battery and plugged the amp only on it and the amp to the subwo…

I noticed my sub isnt working at all. I thought there was a problem with my amp, or maybe the speaker wire came off inside the box. So as i checked all the aforementioned things, i pressed down on the cone and got a little burp of bass, but nothing else constant. Did i blow my sub? Is there any way to determine whats wrong? Any solution as to fix it?

Hello, I am a daily driver moving on from my Kicker 15 L7 in a ported 3.5 ft box in my 94 s10 blazer powered by a 1000 watt hi fonics amp and wanting something that gets loud yet sound alot better than the L7. I've been thinking of a sealed 15 Q with a kicker zx 1000.1. sealed because i dont only listen to rap, but it really annoyed me when my ported box missed notes that my friends subs hit. i wanted to spend in the $300-350 tops for my sub(s). Which Fi would you reccomend? Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Tim

I Have looked on the Fi site and will be using 2 12" BL in a corvette run by a kicker zx2500.1. I was wondering if anyone has put them in a sealed box. I know there are no specs because it is not reccommended, but would it hurt the sub to be in a fiberglass enclosure with the correct airspace?

How about a Tour of inside FI? Ive always wondered what it looked like behind teh scenes. And Im guessing other people might have interest in this also. You dont have to let us in, on your "special" machines, or what not you might have laying around. Dont wanna give teh other people teh heads up for making teh loud m00faz. HAHA

Alright, I never thought i would have this much trouble dealing with you guys but to me 3 weeks is plenty enough time to receive a re-cone kit. Or at least for it to ship. This is my last ditch effort in trying to get it sorted out. I placed my order 4/28 invoice number (I-16276/00) and still have not received it. You guys sent me a link to ups which on their page said a label had been created but nothing shipped. This becoming ridiculous if it isn't already. It seems to me that you guys need to back up, regroup and take a look at your business practices. Not putting a phone number on your website should have been a clue to me. It wont surprise me if this thread is delete…

To get the word out, I think it would be helpful to understand where you first heard about Fi and of course how you ended up visiting their forum at SSA. For me it was right here on SSA, and I am glad that they chose their home here!

I did email, and no reply. But no worries, same thing happens to emails I receive. Some info would be appreciated... thanks BTW.... order email is [email protected].
