Ok guys...I'm getting really close to making some things happen and I wanted to know if 6 SSD 18's sealed in the Cargo area of my Tahoe would rock.......I thinking 2 cubes each? I probably need Nick or Shawn on this one. Each sub is gonna get 1200-1500 watts rms if that helps. I'm also gonna have 3 alts and 5 batts so electrical should be ok....Let me know what you think......GO FI AUDIO GO!!

Ok, well...here this goes, hopefully yall can help. My current truck has 6 6x8's in it by RF, the power series. Gets loud. My new truck, on the other hand, is set up for some components. I will also be making a custom console to allow room for more speakers. What is a good brand that gets loud as hell and can stand up to the 15" BTL's I will be pushing. Also, what size speakers should I put in the custom console??

we all have review of the Fi products... but i felt we didn't have a solid review of this company... So i decided to review the company or more so it's employees.... I have been on this board since November of 2006 which is when i became interested in Fi products.. If i recall (Scott, Nick or Shawn may correct me if I am wrong) but Fi was started in the later half of 2006 I believe around August.. So i have been around here shortly after Fi birth... I have dealt with many direct companies before... JL, RE audio, Us Amps, Kicker, Mb Quart, Alpine and A/D/S to name a few... Some have left a really bad impression on me and some have made a lasting impression on me.... Fi is …

I know you have old parts laying around from subs you have worked on in the past. Any chance you have any RE RE series voice coils laying around? Yes I realize they are cheap subs and probably not worth the recone. I think I bought them for 56 shipped each(4). But if I get bored one day it could be fun. Anyway, let me know. If not no big deal

Did a revamp today of my pop's explorer. It had 3 RE XXX 15's. We swapped out for 3 Fi Q 15's with the BP Power Package, and he loves the new subs. Old Setup New Setup Please excuse the mess, I had a little grinding to do on one spot for the subs to fit normally, instead of inverted, and I really like it alot better, and so does Pop. It looks alot cleaner to me, the nice curved transitions look much much smoother. Here is the list of everything in the truck. Pioneer Premier 720 Cyberdyne Amp Voltage and Amp Temp custom molded into the dash Gain Control custom molded in center console 2pr of Adire Koda mids (soon to be AA poly's) 2pr of Vifa 25 silk dome tweets (1 set cu…

I've got some subs sitting here at the house needing recones. I was wondering if Fi has recones to fit them. First up is a 15" Kicker CVR (2inch VC), next is a 10" MA Audio MA100XE (2inch coil), and finally 2 Mass Destruction Sidewinder 12's (2inch coils). So does Fi have any kits that I can recone my subs with? If not, where can I look to find a kit? I can get further measurements if needed just tell me what I need to measure. Thanks alot!

I was in street B, and got 2nd place with a 140.5db run. Another guy from here "chapter 2" got 1st with 145.9db in street B. We were both running 15" BL, except his box was bigger than mines and he had a bigger amp... :-( Charles another guy on here took 3rd in street B with 137.6db with 2 12" SSDs. Charles man, BIGGER Box!!! I took 1st in bass race 130-139.9. Another guy on here Tom took 2nd with 152.2db in Super Street 5+, he lost to a guy that had 20 15" RF T1, thats not fair. Tom also took 1st in bass race...140-149.9....Tom did end up doing a 151 or so in bass race, that was not recorded. This all took place at USaudio, which Fi sponsored it by supplying tro…

First off I should say this is a great site, especially having the manufacture forums. Back early on in high school I was in a friends regular cab truck, with what I later learned was 500 watts going to the subs, and I guess you could say it left a footprint in my mind about car audio. Scroll ahead to me being 23 now and after spending a couple years in performance and looks category I have started to piece together my first car audio setup. I have been trying to learn as much as I can for what seems to be close to a year now, I know some of you must be thinking 'what's with all the wait?' I have learned with especially performance it is not always the best of things jus…

Hey, I just recently purchased a 15Q from Fi, maybe like two months ago. It always worked flawlessly and sounded really great. The last few days the sub would cut in and out while a song was playing and it turns out a wire came undone on the inside of the box so i unscrewed the sub and put everything back together. Today I turned the music on and there was a wierd sort of popping sound on some of the notes when it played and it would only play some of the time. It sounds as if there is something inside the sub itself that is rattling. I checked all the wires about 50 damn times and made sure everthing was perfect. The sub would cut out and i'd flick the dustcap and it…

In my first post about this you said something about power handling increases. Is that still possible and if so would it cost more money? Also could you check to see if I meet the free shirt requirement? I hope my sub gets there soon bc I cant wait to have it back. Hit me back with any info.

I just ordered an BL 18 and chose the universal option and the extreme lead option. I sent an email the other day asking about these two options and never got a response. Then after reading alittle on here i saw that they dont answer none order emails. And after reading on here i found out what they are and would like to change my order. Do you all think this would be possible. I have emailed the company, and i did just order the sub. Just wanted to know if youall thought i would get a response from them before the sub was processed. thanks.

Here is a photography project I did titled "Speakers of Nature." The idea was that the speakers I use in my car have been applied to nature to contrast the uncanny replication of sound that speakers can make to that of something so natural sounding that you would never have known it to be replicated in the first place. Anyways, that was the idea and from there I used everyday tools that just about every car audio enthusiast has to create this project. I will post the pictures in order from cover to cover. Thanks for looking! Ps. Sorry for the quality of the images but I didn't want anyone copying my work. But feel free to use my ideas, just don't claim it as …
