i bought some ssd 18s used how can i tell if they have the high qts option, and if i had a fully upgraded sub whats will be the rms and max watts of the sub?

hey um e-mails not working again or something.. im getting an avalanche motor and 15" basket wondering if a Q recone will fit in that motor. assuming its a yes, how much would a 15" q recone be, with 1 stiff, 1 soft spider, dual 2 ohm (just the soft parts)

Which size q would sound better for rock/metal fast double bass music? Would the 10" hit the higher frequencies better?

I know the recommended power for a standard Q is 1k watts RMS. If I had two Q's setup for IB purposes, about how much power should each see. I was told once use half the power and I have a Rockford 1000 amp, so would 500w RMS work or is that still to much for IB subs, I have no clue???? Don't wanna destroy the subs before I really get them going.

I'm going to order a SSD10 and plan to load it in a sealed box w/ .63 airspace (after displacement) and power it w/ a Sundown SAE-1000D (are there other recommended amps for the SSD10?) Questions: 1. I'm guessing I should get the dual 1-ohm coils and wire them in series to get 2-ohms (600w) ... since dual 2-ohm coils wired in series would result in 4-ohms (only 300w) and dual 2-ohm coils wired in parallel would overpower the speaker (1-ohm, 1000w), correct?!? 2. Since this is going to be a daily driving setup and I'm more interested in SQ, should I consider any other options besides the copper coil upgrade? Mucho thanks for any help / insight.

Need everything but the dustcap, (recone, gasket, and a 12" basket). I really need this recone by next friday ( a week from this friday). What is the usual turn around time for a sending a recone out? I want to build a system utilizing 2 15" BTL's. What I need to know is what it's going to take to power these subwoofers properly. I've considered using a Rockford Fosgate 4000 Watt Amp, is that going to make the grade? I've heard that the BTL's need about 1500-2000 Watts RMS, so I have a good idea of what kind of amp I'm going to need. The real question is, if 4000 Watts is what I need to move them, what do I need for the charging system? The best high output altenator I've found is 180 Amps. I plan on upgrading all of the charging system wiring as well. Am I going to need to use multiple batteries in addition to my regular car battery and upgraded altenator? A lot of pe…

I order a Q 12 from fi on the 17th of April. It been over 33 business day since I ordered my sub. Then FedEx sent me a shipment email saying that it would arrive on the 24th of April. I knew that was not correct. So I wait until June 12 before I emailed agin. No reply till last Thursday. When I got the email the said it said sub was being shipped and that FedEx would be sending me a tracking number? So I email them Friday asking about my tracking number and still no reply. I just want to know where my sub is.

So I recently just ordered my two powermaster 925's 220amp alt and 0 gauge wiring kit. My question is how do I wire the new alt to the current bat I have now and from the one under the hood to the rear 2 Powermasters then into the amp? Reply's will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Dover

I just got my first set of Fi subs, I got 2 ssd's. On one of the subs the terminal is jammed opened and it is difficult to close or open it. Does this happen normally or?

ive got a 15 inch RE Destroyer that ive been lookin like a mad man to get a recone for. RE will not do it for me so i must look elsewhere, which i would rather FI do it anyways. Scott or nick please help a brotha out.
