Ok the title makes it look a little dramatic sorry...but I do need some help/advice here. First off this is my first post and im not that experienced when it comes to car audio, so please no dogging just try and help please. So heres my problem... I got a BL 15 the other day will all the options besides extreme lead and universal. I got a custom box made thats 3.5 cubic feet tuned to 35hz. For some reason I just cant get it to sound that good...it sounds like theres something loose or something, unless thats the way its supposed to sound... like I said, not too much experience with this stuff. So a couple months ago i discussed my sub fryin on me with you guys, sent it in was talkin to Scott at Fi got speedy responses from him couple weeks later i talked to him asked how things were lookin said they would have my sub shipped out by fri which supposed to be 4-10, i understand they are busy with things goin on but ever since that last message from them i cant seem to get any answers from them, anyone know what might be up. is Scott on vacation or what cuz i understand chit happens but i just wanna know whats goin on you know

how much power can you put to a btl 18 for bass race???

45 Bucks an hour on the Term Lab at a well known shop. They have won alot of the USACi comps... They leave me alone or come out with me and they will help me with settings and what not to decide what the best setup for me is for DD and then give me the settings for SPL comps. The guy I talked to(My friend used to go to him as well for SQ comps) said that we will be done in way less than an hour...but the extra time is nice to screw around with things.. Any thoughts on that? I thought it was a good deal

I just got my first set of Fi subs, I got 2 ssd's. On one of the subs the terminal is jammed opened and it is difficult to close or open it. Does this happen normally or?

Is the p chamfer option included with the cooling option or separate. Also what exactly is the "spider" option

I am new guy around here looking for your guys expertise. I have a 94 camaro 3.4L and I am currently running an old school Memphis 500 D amp to a single P3 in a 2.3 cubic ft sealed box. Obviously space is my limit. I am looking to get my hands on one of the MD2D US Amps. I cant decide if I wanna add another P3 and run two 12" or upgrade my sub to one kick ass 12. If I do so I would like to keep the same box I have. I am after some deep bass, something that can take your breath away. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Zack

I was wondering, I'm from Kuwait and i like to order a Fi BTL 15" subwoofer from their site.. How's my ordering system should be if they are asking for the state? I have a friend here working in an US army base he can provide me his address there so that i can order to the website.. the problem is the state what should i put there in the field?

I ordered an SSD and a BTL on the same order. The SSD showed up today and man is it beefy...but there is no BTL. UPS said there were two packages...but only one showed up. Do the subs ship when theyre done, or do you hold one to wait on another that takes longer? Thanks,

Hi, my Fi 15" BL has recently stopped working. Today i got it tested at my local car audio shop. They told me that one voice coil is not reading a resistance and the other voice coil is reading around 25 ohms. They also told me the voice coil does not look burnt, it is still light copper in color. They also said that nothing smells burned and that the coil is not melted. My question is, does this sound like something that would be covered under warranty? Is any of this indicative of something Fi does not cover in their warranty policy? I noticed they do not cover open voice coils but the audio people i saw were not able to tell if it is open. I live far enough away tha…

... FINALLY WORKS! I rewired the LOC to the rear speaker wires past the factory amp instead behind the deck and it all works now! Apparently the radio puts out a signal no matter what, and the factory amp is what controls the volume. So that's why I was getting output at 0 volume. All I have to say is it sounds amazing! It gets the output and clarity I wanted and the 10 is loud, but beautifully crisp. Amazing products from the guys at FI.

Rockford T20001bd and 2 fi Qs probably 12's is this a good setup? how would i wire it? dual1 or dual2?

ive got a 15 inch RE Destroyer that ive been lookin like a mad man to get a recone for. RE will not do it for me so i must look elsewhere, which i would rather FI do it anyways. Scott or nick please help a brotha out.

My 18 Bl in ported box. it is in an SUV so should i have the sub facing the roof with the port facing the back?

I have a 12" BTL with all the bells and whistles, and I decided to get a dual 1 ohm and not a dual 2 ohm sub. My question is: can I wire the dual 1 to to go with an amp that does one ohm. Or am I left with getting an amp that does two ohms(if so what will be a good amp for the BTL at 2 ohms)

Im a bit of an audio freak, I started with my home system and have now moved out to the car (at least its not the dog house) I explained to her its just a love of music/audio... like she loves gardening and plants.
