Will Fi sell baskets? I'm needing a couple 18" 12 spoke baskets. Thanks for any help.

I am new guy around here looking for your guys expertise. I have a 94 camaro 3.4L and I am currently running an old school Memphis 500 D amp to a single P3 in a 2.3 cubic ft sealed box. Obviously space is my limit. I am looking to get my hands on one of the MD2D US Amps. I cant decide if I wanna add another P3 and run two 12" or upgrade my sub to one kick ass 12. If I do so I would like to keep the same box I have. I am after some deep bass, something that can take your breath away. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Zack

I know this is a car audio forum so please excuse the HT question. I tried to get an answer out on the main forum but I wasn't getting any responses. I've heard great things about Fi and want to get a pair of 18s for my HT setup. I was told over on the Cult that some tweaks can be made to make the drivers IB friendly. So, the question I have is, what diffence could I expect between the SSD series and the Q series? I expect it to be loud, but I'm looking to hit the bottom octave with some authority. Opinions?

Myself and Troy (tejcurrent) attended a local competition today and I believe we respresented Fi nicely. I took 1st in the Truck/Suv 501-1500 class w/ a 146.5 @ 41hz, second in the StreetBass Unlimited class w/ a 142 something playing Gorilla Zoe - Do It, and was runner up in 139.9 BassRace. StreetBass is similiar to BassRace expect you run solo, are allowed to open doors & roll down windows, mic is at the bottom center of the windshield, and you average over 60 seconds. The BassRace was the most exciting since it was my first time doing BassRace. My first two rounds in elimination were cake, but in the finals I was up against Walt Johnson. Walt is the SC BassRac…

My 18 Bl in ported box. it is in an SUV so should i have the sub facing the roof with the port facing the back?

hey im not sure if i should get the 15" Q dual 1 ohm or a 15" BTL i know the BTL cost about 400 dollars. but im not sure if i should wait and get that instead?

hey, I have an old model 8" assassin s4, and my coil is shot, is there anyway i'd be able to recone this, would be willing to go to a larger basket size if thats what's needed also looking for a TC-1000 8" recone, the cone broke around the edge of the surround, anyone have any idea what to do about this? thanks andar

I just ordered 2 fi Q 15s Friday (02/06/09). I know that it takes 2-3 building days plus the time it takes to deliver but I have heard that UPS just leave yr stuff at the door if they dont get an answer. Where i live if u leave stuff out it WILL be stolen. Is there a way for me to to find out the status of my order and its tracking number? Thanks

i have a Bl 15" that is blown and it needs to be sent in and repaired. but while its being repaired i was wondering if theres a way to upgrade it to handle 1500 rms..if so how much would all this cost to get fixed? or would it just be cheaper buying a fully loaded new one?

I just got my first set of Fi subs, I got 2 ssd's. On one of the subs the terminal is jammed opened and it is difficult to close or open it. Does this happen normally or?

Hi. im installing 2 SSDs to a Kicker Zx2500. Its a stock 120A alt in a Ford Fusion. I have a Kinetik Hc1400 that will be in the trunk. My first Question is will I need to have 2 runs(Power/ground) of 0 gauge from the stock battery to the Kinetik? Or can I just run 1 power between both batteries and ground the kinetik to the car? Also I have a Kicker zx650.4 for the doors and I would like to put Phoenix Gold RSD-6.5CS. MY stock speakers are 5.25s. Would this be too much work or should I just buy the RSDs in 5.25? Also can anyone refer me to a nice pair of 2 way speakers that I could put in the rear doors? I listen to mostly hip-hop/rock. Any input is great because I r…

I want to buy another 18" SSD, but I need to have my current sub reconed to a dual 1 ohm. The sub I have now is an 18" SSD dual 2 ohm with the flatwind coil. Can I either send it, or drop it off (I live close) to Fi and have them do it for me? Thank you.

Yeah, this is last November's Black Fi-Day X 10" they had a sale on.. finally got around to putting some power to it as well as building my first box. In the video, I didn't want to push the sub to the limit to avoid blowing it, it seemed like it could take another click on the HU though. Obviously a video is what it is, but let me tell you that this sub sounded so good and flat, it was incredible.

how do you think a sundown 1500d would go with the fi q with the bp option? would it be too much or just right and what would i keep all my power knobs on

Hi, my Fi 15" BL has recently stopped working. Today i got it tested at my local car audio shop. They told me that one voice coil is not reading a resistance and the other voice coil is reading around 25 ohms. They also told me the voice coil does not look burnt, it is still light copper in color. They also said that nothing smells burned and that the coil is not melted. My question is, does this sound like something that would be covered under warranty? Is any of this indicative of something Fi does not cover in their warranty policy? I noticed they do not cover open voice coils but the audio people i saw were not able to tell if it is open. I live far enough away tha…
