Suck at nothing...

bought 2 BLs last year and they finally blew out, last night i ordered a recone kit for them, but i was curious is it possible to use a BTL con on the BL to handle more power??

I currently have two Kicker L7 10's vented running off of a KX 1200.1 in an Extended cab 2000 Silverado. I am loking to upgrade to something a little louder, so I recently did a cut through into the bed and am looking at putting a BL 18" back there. My question is would this one 18" be louder than my current setup? I plan on porting the box and running it off of the same amp. If anybody has a similar setup to the one I am looking at, if you have gotten it metered and could post the numbers that would be great. Thanks.

Hello, im new here and had a question. I will be running about 1700watts rms per channel(2 channels) here pretty soon.I'm looking for louder and more bass "air flow", but also don't want to risk blown subs either... Am I better off getting 2 fully loaded 15" BL's, or 2 BTL's? any specific options for either? Much appreciated guys, Josh

For 15" BLs what is the ideal box size? I know on the 12s it was 2.4 @ 32, which performed great. What about 15s though?

So ive done a lot of searching around here at the forums looking for a good daily sub. I finally stumbled across FI's BL series and tried to do some research but just couldnt find the information that i was looking for. So i was looking into buying a BL15 with the pole chanfer and cooling options. So heres my questions. What would be a good size box and tuning frequency for higher output? Amp? And most importantly its output capabilities with spl oriented setup. everything will be going into a 93 Lincoln Town Car. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any advantage or disadvantage in going with the Bp version. Plus should I get the 2 ohm version? Right now Ive got 600w into 2 ohms.. The Pioneer Mono doesnt do 1 ohm... I will upgrade someday... And lastly with the SQ of this sub be much better than the Pioneer sub I have? Below are the specs and I know specs dont mean that much... Was it FI that was making something called the FI X?? I have looked but can't find it and the search will not work for FI x to few letters together.. I recently had a system set up in my xterra and i had purchased a dual 2ohm Fi Q 10" to be run by a cadence iA7 amp. The box was built to be stealth in my xterra and is a sealed and i was told built to house about 0.4cubic feet. (middle of recommended area for this sub) that said, they told me the measured resistance on each coil was ~1.5 ohm so they set up the system to push 3ohm. however, it seems that the sub is rather flat or not quite as responsive as the installers would have expected. i was told that this amp doesn't have enough power for the sub but in t…

Is the p chamfer option included with the cooling option or separate. Also what exactly is the "spider" option

I am new guy around here looking for your guys expertise. I have a 94 camaro 3.4L and I am currently running an old school Memphis 500 D amp to a single P3 in a 2.3 cubic ft sealed box. Obviously space is my limit. I am looking to get my hands on one of the MD2D US Amps. I cant decide if I wanna add another P3 and run two 12" or upgrade my sub to one kick ass 12. If I do so I would like to keep the same box I have. I am after some deep bass, something that can take your breath away. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Zack

Hey guys do you have a single X series 10" laying around somewhere? I am planning a build and would love to have one. Dual 2 would be the best but I would not complain an ounce if you could dig up a dual 4. Just checking If not I guess I will wait and do it with a single Q when the time comes.

I ordered a 2 ohm DVC sub but I need a 1 ohm DVC sub. My invoice # I-17666/00. I sent an email, but I know it takes a couple days to read them and I placed the order 2 days ago. I hope I'm lucky and it's still early enough to change. I apologize for my stupidity :/

im doing a single 12 ssd on a rockford 1200.1d in a pontiac vibe and want the best bang for my buck... does anyone have any plans they may be willing to share? i dont want to use the re audio calculator cause i know thats not very accurate. and im also thinking abou buying a custom box from "dave the box guy" but thats at least 6-10 weeks so i will have to build something for the meantime... any thoughts are appreciated.

I want to buy a fi Q 12 from a friend and he claims it to be fully loaded(only without spider) Is there any way i can check if the sub actually have all that options. It's the new version of fi q.
