I was wondering what happened to Sean from FI. I placed my order with him a little over 2 weeks ago(supposedly straight through him on what he told me was his personal cell phone number) anyways i've been calling him just about everyday since because I wanted to change the color of the logo on the dustcaps but I am unable to get a hold of him. Also he hasnt even taken the money out of my bank account for the order yet. I'm local to them so I was told I would be able to pick them up(really doesnt have anything to o with my issue)but he doesnt answer any of my calls. Can anybody on here get a hold of him and let him know that I want to change my dustcap color for me? If not…

I am seriously considering ordering 2 12" BL's but when I click on the BL link on the page, nothing appears. Is anybody else getting this? Also I know this has been discussed before but I am still debating between 2 Fi BL's or 2 AA Havocs. Im going to be running them off the Sundown 1500d. Do you think its enough power and which would you guys perfer ? I am looking for something with good SQ and also that deep HARD hitting lower bass. Any response would be great. Just got the BTL fully loaded 18" in. it's in a transmission line box in the back of my envoy XL. taking up all my trunk space along with the removal of the third row. being powered with Audio Que's 2200D amp. was wondering what comps i should be looking at for my doors and im putting a row of 6x9's facing forward behind the headrests of the second row on top of the box for some extra midbass. was wondering if anyone could give me a hand? not looking to spend over 300 for each set of comps and ill drop probably around the same for the 6x9 pairs. i've been looking at the kappa perfect 6.1's by infinity and audioque's component sets. thanks for the help. -d.kish

i have a fully loaded BTL 15" dual 1 ohm, i am looking for a good affordable amp with anything higher than [email protected]?? anyone have any ideas??? i had a american bass XD3000 but it wasnt enough and i think i blew it or sumthin, it was letting a very high pitch sound come out so i sold it cuz i didnt want to mess up my speaker, anyways i would like a VFL200.1 but i am open for any other ideas on a more money saving quality amp cuz im broke:) thanks yall

This is a new project going in my friends Charger R/T. He wants to slowly setup a nice SQ setup. We will more than likely use the Q's. If doing an IB, the rear deck will be completly blocked off and sealed up. Any suggestions or ideas would be great....thanks.

I've had a lot of people here recently ask what BP power was...so I figured hey...might as well show some pictures right?

This is out of pure curiosity. I just want to know what all the parts into these woofers are made of and i looked of on the site and found some things but im just seeing if theres any other specific details. I just want to know more about the internals than i do about the outside appearance. Simple question i suppose.

I currently have a pair of Q's each running off 1500 watts. I wanted to do a sound quality setup but now im wishing I would have gone with the BLs because all i really wanted to do is get loud. is there any way i can exchange my pair of Qs for a pair of BLs. Thanks Keith

My order #999 was a Q18 Dual 2. Dual 2 is important, because I'm only running 1 woofer and I need to be at a 1 ohm final load. I received my speaker in the mail a little under a week ago, and brought it out lat night to do some wiring. I hooked up the multimeter to the terminals, and...what in the world? Both voice coils read 5.2 ohms. Dual 4 isn't even an option on the website? How did I end up with what appears to be just that? I sent Shawn an email through the sales email, hoping to hear back today. I'm at a 3.2 final load, which is no bueno. I've got 1500 watts on tap at 1 ohm, and I'd like to use them all.

Ok, now I figured this is an infinite baffle. Just found out by googling it. Now comes the real question, What positives and negatives come from an inifinite baffle? Do they sound good at all and can they produce some nice SPL or would I be better off just makin a ported enclosure.

Just wondering what I would get if I order the xxx recone kit? I was planning on getting a basket as well. Does it come with the gasket, terminals, screws, etc? Just want to know what I need besides glue.

i have kept in contact with FI about my sub and so far i have been receiving prompt emails. the last email i sent was about 2 and a haf weeks ago, and was told they were waiting on the steel but they should have received it within 2 days. i figured since i ordered a shirt and some decals that may be the issue? i decided to post on here incase there are other users still waiting. please dont take this as a bad review towards your customer service because i am content with the prompt email responses. i just like keeping in touch, so i wont end up waiting 10 months like other users due to miscommunication

Need help..don't kno what to get

Ok, Im no expert but this is the first time seeing this piece in any subwoofer. I have an Fi Q 12 (2010 Version). I took my box out today for some room for a road trip and i come upon this piece inside the subwoofer box. I have the Pics link here. Its round about 1" in diameter. Hey, I'm planning on buying a 12'' Fi Q sub, and I was wondering what type of box would be good for me... I have a polk/momo c500.1. I was planning on getting the dual 1ohm to run 500rms to the sub. I'm looking for good SQ(obviously why I'm getting the Q) but I want to be able to feel that chit in my back if I want to, lol. It's going in an older 4DR BMW. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. i have a motor off of a sub that i blew....well creased and cracked the cone....i was told it was a tc9...but i want to make sure before i try and get a recone...but here are pics any help would be appreciated

Hi all! Finally came to the decision to go with Fi but not sure what model or size to go with. Just trying to get a little input. I'm a daily driver and listen mainly to rap. In the past I've entered in a few local SPL competitions when I had four 12" Diamonds but nothing serious. I'm trying to keep the price around the $300 range. Currently I have two 12" Kappa Perfect VQ's, each in its own 1.75 cu ft slot port box and each powered by a Hifonics Brutus 1505D. 0 awg power wire. 5 farad cap. Exide orbital battery. There is roughly 9 cu ft to work with in the back of my '97 S-10 ext cab and I'm willing to devote both amps to powering one sub. Right now its a toss up betw…

I don't understand ohms at all. But I'm ordering a 15'' BTL with an audioque 2200 watt amp. So it will just be 1 sub, 1 amp. What ohm should I run? and can somone maybe explain what it means to me?

I am ordering 2 q's soon and need to wire it to a 2 ohm load so i would want the dual 1's or dual 2's?

What other subs does the SSD compare too??? Just wondering what subs from other companies are comparable to the SSD. A friend of mine who i'm tring to get hooked on fi was asking me...any input would be appreciated.

I have a brand new Hifonics GLX1400.1D and all new 2 gauge wire ran. I should have my ssd 18 sometime in the next couple weeks. Does anyone know what i should tune my box too? its all going in a 01 eclipse(hatchback). I also would like to know what i should run my subsonic filter and everything as. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!
