Hi, my Fi 15" BL has recently stopped working. Today i got it tested at my local car audio shop. They told me that one voice coil is not reading a resistance and the other voice coil is reading around 25 ohms. They also told me the voice coil does not look burnt, it is still light copper in color. They also said that nothing smells burned and that the coil is not melted. My question is, does this sound like something that would be covered under warranty? Is any of this indicative of something Fi does not cover in their warranty policy? I noticed they do not cover open voice coils but the audio people i saw were not able to tell if it is open. I live far enough away tha…

I just ordered 2 fi Q 15s Friday (02/06/09). I know that it takes 2-3 building days plus the time it takes to deliver but I have heard that UPS just leave yr stuff at the door if they dont get an answer. Where i live if u leave stuff out it WILL be stolen. Is there a way for me to to find out the status of my order and its tracking number? Thanks

Im a bit of an audio freak, I started with my home system and have now moved out to the car (at least its not the dog house) I explained to her its just a love of music/audio... like she loves gardening and plants. Cuz shes always like why? I suggest I dont really get the plant thing but I know you love it.. so. Ok.. I guess I didnt need the story, but Ill take some photos and do the install when I get home! Hey guys! First off, I am new here and already love it. I have heard great things about Fi and decided to run with them in my next setup. I listen to, well, almost all rap and I want to compete for the first time with my new setup and am not sure what to run with. This is going in a blow through so I have a decent amount of room to play with. I am not sure what I would be better off doing in a setup. Right now I am kinda torn between doing something like 4 12's sealed (probably Q's) versus someting like 2 15" BTLs ported. I want to get super stupid loud. Pretty much I am just lookin for suggestions and ideas of what to do. Amp wise I was thinkin if I go with the 4…

How do I place a Canadian order with Fi Audio using a credit card? No respond to email so I though I would try and get an answer here.

I know this is a car audio forum so please excuse the HT question. I tried to get an answer out on the main forum but I wasn't getting any responses. I've heard great things about Fi and want to get a pair of 18s for my HT setup. I was told over on the Cult that some tweaks can be made to make the drivers IB friendly. So, the question I have is, what diffence could I expect between the SSD series and the Q series? I expect it to be loud, but I'm looking to hit the bottom octave with some authority. Opinions?

i made a post 10 days ago about my sub not being sent out yet. i was told to wait 1 or 2 more days.. its not been 10 and its still not sent out. Is there any unknown delays i dont know about?

... FINALLY WORKS! I rewired the LOC to the rear speaker wires past the factory amp instead behind the deck and it all works now! Apparently the radio puts out a signal no matter what, and the factory amp is what controls the volume. So that's why I was getting output at 0 volume. All I have to say is it sounds amazing! It gets the output and clarity I wanted and the 10 is loud, but beautifully crisp. Amazing products from the guys at FI.

So I have been sittin here planning out my next system almost to a T, when the thought pops in my head, maybe I should find out the competition rules and types of competitions there are before I do any major planning. Does anyone have any ideas or sites I can hit up to find out the various competitions and rules regarding these comps? My last plan was a F150 with shell on the bed. I was gonna do a wall with 4 18" BTLs, allowing the box to take up some room in the bed. I was probably gonna port front as well, but have some templates and planning to do first. Is there even a competition for such vehicle or do i need to go back to the drawing board. 4 18" BTL's not sure …

I was wondering, I'm from Kuwait and i like to order a Fi BTL 15" subwoofer from their site.. How's my ordering system should be if they are asking for the state? I have a friend here working in an US army base he can provide me his address there so that i can order to the website.. the problem is the state what should i put there in the field?

Yeah, this is last November's Black Fi-Day X 10" they had a sale on.. finally got around to putting some power to it as well as building my first box. In the video, I didn't want to push the sub to the limit to avoid blowing it, it seemed like it could take another click on the HU though. Obviously a video is what it is, but let me tell you that this sub sounded so good and flat, it was incredible.

ive got a 15 inch RE Destroyer that ive been lookin like a mad man to get a recone for. RE will not do it for me so i must look elsewhere, which i would rather FI do it anyways. Scott or nick please help a brotha out.

ordered my sub on June 26, 2007.. got the confirmation on the 29th.. and now it still says that the payment is being carried out by paypal? no tracking number or nothin.. ordered an 18" BTL all options except cooling to Bartlett, IL

Buddy is torn between these setups. Obviously one requires 2k more power. Aside from that, everything else is pretty close. I think that the ssds wont be much louder for all the extra work - any other opinions?
